That point 'n click game site is very cool! Scary Squirrel I'll add 2 more - 1. This one is boring, but highly useful especially if you have to do any cooking this holiday season - www.allrecipes.comMy fave recipe site b/c you can review and read reviews before trying a recipe. 2. For any gamers who like freeware or abandonware - www.the-underdogs.orgTons of games, but even more pop-ups so if you hate pop-ups don't bother.

Thanks, gaia, for looking for the Chinese version of numa numa for me. I'll keep an eye out myself.
I love this thread! A little bonus to all the Marty Casey/LH fix I need!

I like the 'What Do You Have In Your Pantry?' part. I'll have to check out the underdogs site tomorrow. I have ALL popups blocked so it may not be a problem. Thanks! ETA: I checked out the underdogs site. Cool. They actually have some games I haven't played. Thanks again!

That recipe site has been a real-life saver for me especially when I have guests or picky eaters around. The reviews take a lot of the risk-taking out. Thanks for posting more game links ;D I'll be sure to check those out.

I'm a picky pain in the butt eater so it should come in handy!!!! Let me know what you think of those sites. I have many others but those are my favorites. My job lends me some down time.......Once I get things rockin' and happening, I am just a high paid baby sitter. It gives me time to check out games and flash. These are really the best though if you like point 'n click and flash.

How ya doin? OK, all, here's a beer commercial that cracks me up! www.advertisementave.com/tv/ad.asp?adid=142enjoy! Post modified to clarify that this isn't an endorsement of any product or of drinking alcohol. I just love the dialogue!! ;D

That is pretty fascinating! Thanks for all the other links, too, keysunset. Teakay - Things have been crazy over here so I haven't had a chance to check out all those sites yet, but once I do I'll be sure to let you know my thoughts.

Now I know we're all into mmmMarty music right now, but JUST in case you need a break, Ottmar Liebert is another musician I love. You can go here and listen to some of his stuff for free: ssri.biz/index.php?c=36The first two (Carrousel and La Luna) are a couple of my favorites from this list. Plus if you scroll down you get to his songs released for the holiday this year (his take on O Little Town of Bethlehem and Away in a Manger are good. But I LOVE O Holy Night - one of my favorite hymns anyhow). I've ordered OL's "La Semana" and "Winter Rose" for Mr. Key for Christmas and extra copies of "Winter Rose" to give away. BTW, OL's album "Poets and Angels" released several years ago is a beautiful holiday-type CD. If you like this stuff, you might be able to find that around new or even used.

A friend of mine is a very talented and original singer/songwriter who's been slogging away for years always just on the verge of making it big. Check out his website. There's a link to samples of his music on the "disco" page of his site (and no, he doesn't do disco). altuck.ca/disco.htmlETA: Lyrics to one of his songs. This is one of my favourites: DAMN NEAR DO ME JUSTICE
Friday night at the pub and my eyes they’ve been rovin’, looking around for someone just like you. To see you there just standing in the shadows, to see you there just looking like you do.
Sure I’m drunk on the rum, yes I’m drunk but I’m still standing and you yourself have had more than a few. I propose a toast to our newfound understanding of how I love you and I’ll tell you again I do.
Oh dear. You blew in my ear… You damn near do me justice.
Up on the stage they’re just going through the motions. Come in here close, love and take your eyes off him. I fail to see what’s causing the commotion, there might be better men than me but he’s not one of them.
Won’t have you thinking I’ve just jumped on some bandwagon I went Celtic when Celtic wasn’t cool. But I ain’t no good at all that schmoozing and nagging and I try not to toot my own horn as a rule.
But oh dear, you blew in my ear... You damn near do me justice.

I just checked this one out. There is a link for a cute 30 second parody of "A Christmas Story" re-enacted by animated bunnies - lots of fun! Doesn't take a long time to load at all. A direct link: www.starz.com/features/christmasstory/

I am a Virginian all the way, but I tested as a yankee! I would be shot if my family found out.

That one is very clever! I've also taken the veer.com personality test which pretty much confirmed that I don't usually agree with the "norm" and the Yankee/Dixie test.

It's really good! That song is mellow, but it had me moving.
