awww, your "babies" are sooooo adorable!! I have a dog named Shane who is really old now, but he is all white, but at his old age, he very grouchy. He now lives with my mom. Well he never left her house, when I moved out and got married, he stayed, but I couldn't bear to take him away from her either. Anyway, very cute puppies!!

Here's another ridiculous site for you: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gi2CfuqcUGEWatch this through to the bitter end.....just when you think things can't possibly get worse, they do. I understand that this man is popular in Europe and Asia - what I don't understand is WHY. That video is just all kinds of wrong!!

The hubby just sent me this email: With the 5 second delay during this year's Super Bowl, the network cut out two small sections of the Rolling Sones' half-time show; lyrics that have played on the radio for the past 30 years. Here is a response: www.break.com/movies/kimmel28.html

This guy's magic is unbelieveable: gprime.net/video.php/theglasstrick Even if you don't understand the language (like me) you'll be able to follow along and be dumbfounded at how this can work.

I wish to introduce you to a pet project of one of my dear friends. Her website is called www.giftsofspeech.org/and it is a collection of women’s speeches from around the world. I’ll let you read all the details at the website, but in short, it began with a desire to collect in an accessible place the speeches of many wise, influential, and/or famous women. There are speeches by Nobel Prize winners, congresswomen, world leaders, scientists, artists, former slaves, and many others. Here are some examples: The Critical Years: gos.sbc.edu/c/crist.htmlArt, America, and Jumping Off the Cliff: gos.sbc.edu/m/monk1.htmland On the Suicide of Her Husband: gos.sbc.edu/l/love.htmlGifts of Speech is a work in progress, so the collection continues to grow and develop. Go take a look around, oh, and be sure to sign the guestbook. Enjoy!

www.storycorps.net/The Story Corps is a wonderful, wonderful project. Be sure to listen to these cousins talk about Miss Lizzie Divine www.storycorps.net/audio/johnson2.mp3It's funny, especially because probably most all of us has had someone in our life, maybe not a SCS teacher, but someone like Miss Divine. Enjoy!

Because I have found everyone here to be very friendly, loving people, I am making a personal request. My very best friend (since ninth grade, and that's a long time ago!) posted this: trulybadfilms.blogspot.com/This past month has been hard. Her brother was a friend of mine as well. If you can drop by just to leave her a note of condolences, I would appreciate it very much. Thanks, keysunset 5/9/06 P.S. I got this in an email from Chai: "You are so sweet to ask the folks on your message board to drop by and leave messages at TBF! Thank you. " Thanks to all of YOU. You are wonderful sweet people.
