The connection pipe to my washer burst while I was on the phone with Cindy....I was here in the computer room and heard a funny noise. I put her on hold to find the "noise" and discovered water gushing from underneath the washer and it had filled my wash room and was quickly filling the kitchen!! I called a dear friend and told him I had a "water emergency" (LOL) and thankfully he and his roommate came and not only cut off the water but helped me sop up the flood. WHAT A FREAKIN MESS!!!!! I have to be at work early in the morning and I'm sitting here sopping with water, sopping in sweat and very I just thought I'd come here to vent!

Well, the kitchen/wash room look better, but need to dry a bit more. The place is a MESS. The chipmunks like to get just right inside the dryer vent at the carport to eat their sunflower seeds that I so caringly put out.....well, those damn sunflower husks floated all over my kitchen! I'm not too happy with the chipmunks right now. My friend wondered what all the "black things" were and initially thought they were dead bugs! LOL Now THAT'S a friend who'll mop up bug water! He felt better when I explained they were sunflower husks. Okay, I'm off to bed.

Amy
I can relate -
2 years ago I heard a funny noise in my garage. I opened the door and saw that the washing machine hose had come disconnected from the wall and was waving wildy back and forth spraying water everywhere.
I was trying to turn off the water while the hoses were spraying me in the face... all while my kids were standing in the door way laughing their butts off.
Hope you get your kitchen back to normal soon!

Amy, sorry to read about your experience...yes, like 4, I have been there and done that. Water filling up a room is definitely no fun. Those humongous fans help to dry out pretty fast. Hope everything is getting back to normal.
