I'll bite. 1. I'm thankful for my Momma; for the cancer being benign and for the time that I have left with her. Two, three years...it's a lifetime to me. 2. Music; being able to listen to it, create it and enjoy it. 3. Family; because finally - after all these years - we ARE a family 4. Art; being able to experience the world of the arts 5. My Cats, A-ko and B-ko 6. My health 7. Friends that are so much like family now 8. Learning to let go of my past so I can move forward and be happy. There are a lot of things I'm thankful for, but...that'll do for now. Happy Thanksgiving all.

I hope you don't mind me adding to this list, being from the UK & all, we don't get a day to do this, but thought it would be a nice place for me to wish all of you a very happy thanksgiving. There are many things I am thankful for, here's the ones I could think of: My family, it's been another tough year, but we're still talking Art, my other half, my world, I really would be lost without him Having a job I finally enjoy My friends who mean the world to me This website, sounds a bit corny, but the people I've spoken to on here have been so nice & welcoming, it's made the site somewhere that feels like home. My past - for teaching me vital lessons Anyone who can make me laugh ;D Music - something else I couldn't live without. I think that covers most of it.

Nancy-- I was going to start this thread yesterday and I didn't--great minds think alike. What I am grateful for this year? That my mother has weathered some tough health battles but at 84 has bounced back enough to enjoy the upcoming holidays. (I'm so aware how limited my time with her is now! That's actually a blessing--take nothing for granted!) My sister and her family who have shouldered more of the burden of mom's care because I live 1700 miles away. The opportunity to do amazing work that I love and help people realize they have so much more power than they have begun to tap into. Thankful for my health. I could be in better shape but the body gets me where it needs to go and lets me enjoy the world! My beautiful and amazing business partner and her family who have become my family. I'm so thankful to share the struggles of starting a business with such a supportive person. My beautiful dog friend Sadie who makes me laugh and gives me unconditional acceptance. In January 2006, I set an intention to have more joy in my life and make new friends, I never thought that would happen through someone I saw on a TV show and the people I would meet on the Internet--but boy did you all deliver. Thanks Marty for being the spark that set this all in motion--Thankful for all the friends and fun I have here and when we meet in person. Thankful for all the people who work so hard for this to be a great place to be. Thankful for the fact that I as a woman live in a part of the world where I have all these options and freedoms. When I see people struggling in other parts of the world for the things I take for granted--I am so reminded of how blessed I am. Thankful for opportunities and the knowledge that even though I am not a millionaire by most of the world's standards I am abundantly blessed. And I posted this in the asylum but I'll post it here too. Thankful for the direction my business is growing. Many of you know that I am actually a hypnotherapist--Hence the "I can hypnotize u" and hypnolady avi. My business partner and I launched a free monthly podcast meditation or visualization on the Internet this month. I'm thankful to be able take this sort of thing to new people through this amazing web of connection we call the Internet. Each month we'll post a short 5 minute visualization as our gift. This month it is on gratitude--check us out at: five4me.podhoster.comOK that was a little self promotion--but I hope it is OK with you all. I am really proud of our first one and I'm sure they'll only get better as we master the format and technology. Thank you all for being part of my blessings this year--Happy Thanksgiving to those in the States and to those elsewhere in the world have a blessed day too! Carol

I am most thankful that whenever the craziness that is my life starts to overwhelm me, I can listen to Lovehammers songs and/or come to the boards and very quickly a smile returns to my face and I know that it will get better once again!! I am so very thankful for the friendships made here and the bond we share - I am thankful for the Internet - it has saved my sanity many, many times in the past 10 years! I am thankful for the calm after the storm - today turned out to be a chance to catch my breath, have some "me" time CJ Oregon Coast P.S. for Nancy - I am thankful for Dino as well - notice the quote in my siggy!!

Hey everyone, I will definitely take this opportunity to wish all who celebrate Thanksgiving a very happy day. As here in Australia we don't celebrate it but being on this board so often with all my new American friends I feel a part of celebrating with you. If someone had asked me 18 months ago what I was thankful for I would have said "I have nothing to be thankful for and would rather not be a part of this world anymore". But how life changes and today I have so much to be thankful for and it is mostly due to the wonderful friends and family I have here in Australia and on this board. As my good friends know I was close to death after a serious accident and surgery and it has been a long haul back, still not there yet but the end is definitely in sight and alot of my courage to fight has come from my family and friends. So I am thankful for the following: - My second chance at life
- My family & Aussie friends
- My wonderful martycasey.org friends
- Marty Casey
- My horses
- My stubborness to not give in
- Music, especially Lovehammers
- Being an Aussie of which I am very proud
- Everyday that God gives me
I am sure there are more but these are some of my most important things to be thankful for.
Have a great THANKSGIVING everyone.
Helen.
