This room is for those that we have lost along the way. Sometimes remembering can help us heal. Please feel free to post anyone you would like to remember.
Remembrance
For all those that we have lost, we shall forever hold a place within our hearts....
Seasons change, but our grief shall remain the same....
in remembrance of.....
Lucy and Antonio Herrera (my grandparents and best friends) I will always remember you!

In memory of Linda and Walter Coker.
No matter how old I am, I will always be your child and you will always be my parents.
I love you and miss you both.

This post is in remembrance of our loved ones and friends who lost their battles with various forms of cancer during the past year.
This Christmas will be very difficult for three of my students; they all lost their fathers during the past year. I know two of the three were to cancer. So if you get a chance say a prayer for Jackie Jr., Andrea (and her two little sisters, Kendra and Shana), & Tory this holiday season. It will also be tough one for my two step-cousins, Hannah and Carol Anne. Their father died of pancreatic cancer on Christmas Day 2005.
Remember these children who have lost their parents far too soon. Jackie, Andrea, & Tory are all just sophomores in high school.
Pray for a cure and do whatever you can to help. I'm active in the local Relay for Life. Sadly, I will be lighting more luminarias in memoriam at the 2007 event.
Peace be with everyone this season.

Memories continue to fill us, of the times we shared in the past...
Echoes of better times, mournful of things that we can not take back...
I may have never said it often, yet owe you so much for teaching me to always be true...
Seasons change, but our grief shall remain the same...
In remembrance of...

Mrs. B (my high school librarian/mentor/friend).
The one person who always encouraged my writing, when no one else would. Who didn't always enjoy my writing, but was kind enough to encourage my creativity with an open mind. Who reminded me that you have to write what you would love to read....and never worry about failing, because you would have at least one reader (yourself)!
May I do her memory justice with every word I write... I miss you.

As the New Year approaches, new memories are created....
Our family and friends continue to grow...
Thoughts remain of you, some more vivid than the next.
The past we now teach to our children, in hopes that our memories will somehow help them.
Our prayers are for you to find peace, that which you could not find here on earth.
In rememberance....
