I've been listening to my old INXS cd's tonight and looking at my old pics, so I thought I'd share. I took these pics in 1993. INXS decided to do a 'PUB' tour of OZ. They played a little old dingy dive in my home suburb of Mt Druitt...the good old western suburbs of Sydney. **sigh** he really was a beautiful man... Jet thank you sooo much for that ! I am a big fan and always will . Currently I've been listen to their early stuff and am really digging it!!! Dan , I'm sorry I missed the BIG NEWS!!!!! Congratulations on your new baby granddaughter !!!! We need pictures pronto!!! Dawn and Nancy and everybody I missed- big Hello from ice covered Chicago!!!!

Hellooooo, IWO, the pic of Chicago looks so beeeeeeeeautiful. We are under a winter storm warning this weekend with up to a foot of snow followed by ice/sleet/freezing rain maybe even "thunder snow". (normal Chicago winter weather right? ) so it's not looking good for us to drive over to Illinois to see new graddaughter Lainey this weekend . Here's a pic soon after she was born though with daughter-in-law Liz. ndavis021410 I wonder if Quantas has groop rates if there is an OZ tour. . Henry, how are you doing with the lottery scratch offs thingy? ROAD TRIP!!!!!!! Dawn Chicago vs OZ in 2008... ....Crikey! I think OZ may be calling your name...... Either way you win Have a great weekend everyone. I'm off now to work before the snow/ice arrives. It should be a "fun" drive home. Den

Hey everyone, It has been soooo long since I have been on the org I almost forgot my password Sorry about that guys, it's just that things here aren't going that great and I don't really feel much like talking when I am not in a happy place. Firstly DEN, big congrats on gorgeous LAINEY's safe arrival, I am sure Chris, Liz and you are all very excited and it is a wonderful early Christmas present. Jet, so sorry to read about Jack, I know I would be devastated if one of my family had passed this way and I hope I don't make you upset by bringing it up again, but he is up there in doggy heaven playing with all the other wonderful pets that have passed over rainbow bridge. My horses are all well and handling the summer heat OK so far, no green grass left, just drought riddled brown dusty paddocks for them to play in. Still no horse competitions to compete in as EI is still raging in a couple of states but the rest of Oz, horsewise, is still in virtual standstill to stop the spread of the equine flu. I have entered Marty for a HUGE show mid February next year, if it goes ahead. He looks fabulous but it is a wait and see game at present. At the height of the EI we had over 70,000 horses Australia wide with EI and 100,000 possible cases, with 51,000 infected properties. So many Aussies have lost everything and gone bankrupt and many people have committed suicide due to the toll it has taken on their livelihoods. There have been thousands of horses died from this flu and it is still not expected to be eradicated til mid 2008 all going to plan, so we are keeping our finges crossed. It is really a terrible situation here at present for the equestrian industry. Very sad. Mick is fine, very busy with work, he had a health scare a while back that turned out luckily to be nothing serious and he is now well. Thank God for him as he keeps me together mentally at present with all my health problems. I was hoping to see this last specialist before Christmas but my appointment has been put off til Feb 7th which I am really disappointed about. The pain is getting to a point that it is so unbearable some days and I cannot even walk and that is on high doses of morphine. I really need some good news from this new specialist and I thought it would be before Chrissy but it wasn't meant to be I read Marty C's answer to Jets question. I so hope he makes it to Oz in 2008, I will have to save hard to get to his concerts as I am now on a disability pension and it is extremely hard to make ends meet but I will definitely get there. Might have to sell one of the ponies to make ends meet. Might have to do that soon anyway the way things are going with bills etc. Anyway, hope this finds everyone well, will try to stay in touch more regularly, but like I said, I have nothing good to share so its not really worth jumping on to bring the mood down is it? Bye for now, Helen.

Helen, it's marvelous just to see ya here. We are all here for you through good or bad, and I'd hate to go all the way to OZ with Den on a cheap ass flight just to SMACK your head. We NEED to hear from ya, and love ya. It makes life normal for the bad news to come ever so often, and we love ya. And I love to hear about the horses, new babies, Marty going to Oz with Nancy and Den hiding in the storage ben of a run away flight outta Chicago, and everyone's lovely stories. Den WEAR YOUR SEATBELT, dem dare roads are slippery girlfriend. Better to be safe than sorry. Love Nancy

Nancy, move over - I'm stowing away with you and Den to OZ in 2008! Hey HY and Nancy. I made it back from Illinois safe and sound. It was so wonderful to finally be able to hold little Lainey. The roads were not as bad as we had expected even though there were 4 cars that had slid off of the road. We just took our time. Grandsons Mason and Jack got to meet their new cousin. I think she is going to be dearly loved. What do you two think about this beauty for our trip to OZ in 2008. (Pssst, I don't think Henry is getting very far with her scratch-off lottery thingys so I thought we should get a 4 seater....just in case) ;D ;D ;D Helen, it really is so good to hear from you. I am relieved that Mick is ok now. You know we love you. If someday Marty does make it over to OZ, I owe you and Mick for the Robbie Williams concert at the Telstra Dome and for such wonderful, warm and heartfelt memories last year. Fingers crossed that the EI is gone soon and Little Marty will be able to show again. He is such a beautiful horse. Many thanks to IWO, Dawn and everyone for all of the congrats. I'm on cloud nine tonight. Cheers! Den
