As a new fan of the Lovehammers and have now seen them twice live, it still took the "History" dvd for me to really appreciate Billy's presence on stage. I am a retired guidance counselor, mother of a marketing guru daughter, and wife to another retired educator. Being around young people all my life has kept me very updated on music, but I think having grown up in the crucible of American music, the deep South, I see music as part of my being. From the guitar giants of B.B. King, Les Paul, and on to Clapton, I always look for that guitarist whose subtlety comes through even with the fire. As B.B. King said, "Sometimes it's the notes you don't play"
All in all, there is great synergy among Billy,Bobby, and Dino which comes along really rather rarely. I hope they can stay together for a long time.

Boo, I agree with you totally. I have not been to a LH concert, and was surprised and delighted at how awesome the instrumentals were in concert, much different than the cds. And I thought that Billy's talents really shine through during a live performance. Can't wait to see in person.

Thanks,Trees, for liking the nickname. It does look funny in print, but it's actually in honor of my favorite aunt nicknamed Boo. She had just passed away last year.
