Merry Christmas! I wanted to give my wonderful friends here a gift, so I sat down at my piano to compose something special for you all. I've had a great time here on dotORG, where we've shared lots of laughs, and love of All-Things-LH!
This piece is a Variation on part of the "Clouds" Theme. It's beautiful melody really touched me, as I'm sure it did many here. I used the main theme, but changed tempos & rhythms, and deconstructed the harmonies a bit. It's now a completely different song, but all good LH fans will still recognize it.

Amazing how you've mixed the song up, pulled it apart, and put it back together...and still works!
I just downloaded it to my iPod, and it even sounds better!
Nice idea to give the forum'ers a gift....but you've set the bar so high!

Iwo, that's really beautiful! Thank you for posting it.  You have a very original and creative mind. I'd love to see a figure skater do a routine to this. I think Michelle Kwan would be my pick to do it justice. |
