Posted by: virginiaHi, What an amazing show! Where do I begin. Well, I first ended up going to the Gibson show. The band put on a high energy set. I wish they could have played longer...I found it too short. But here's where my story begins. Last week, I had won tickets to the Gibson show & backstage passes. I had a quick meet & greet w/ INXS. Little did I know that I could use the pass for the remainder of the night. So I decided to take my chances & tried to see if I could go back again. To my luck, no one stopped me & I kept walking. I actually ended up seeing MiG back there, but the LHs were no where to be seen. While the INXS show was going on, I began walking & found my way to their tour buses & ended up meeting Dan. Thanks Dan for your company. He is such a sweet person, he let me hang around the buses until the band would show up. Dan, you're so cool! Well, I think about 15-20 mins later...guess who I saw coming towards the bus.....it was MARTY! I could not believe it. He approached me and gave such a nice sweet hug and we took a few shots together & got him to sign my CD covers. He actually remembered me from the Rockstar show! That truly amazes me about him, how he remembers even if it was for 1 short minute. That just made my night. I actually ended up missing the whole INXS show...but it was all worth it. I also saw Bobby & got a quick pic. I was gonna try to wait around for the others...but decided it might be wise to head off to the Viper. Can you believe it , it gets better than this? I ended up meeting Claudia/Sweetcheeks there & there I was up front row to the stage. It was the BEST! What was also cool about the show...was that I got to meet some gals from the boards, RockBeast....hehehehe =) The LHs finally showed up & put on an amazing show. All I can say is that this was the best concert, nothing else can top it off. My eyes were totally focused on Marty....he would just look at each person with such intensity. He made every effort to look into the audience, so that he could personally thank them. His eyes are just so sharp, deep & intense. Anyway, after the show, we ended up meeting all the band members & took photos again. I had such a blast! I'm just so sad that it's come to an end. I hope they come back to LA soon. See ya Virginia aka Martyfanny

OKay I'm up now. COffee in hand. So I'll try to give a recap of the Viper. Except that it is hard to describe the sensation of being in that room. Which was the overwhelming feeling of being surrounded by the music not just from the stage but all the people who love the music.
This will be kind of stream of conscious because I know you all want information ANd if I try to organize my thoughts--I may have to leave before I get anything posted.
Can I just start by saying I'm kicking myself for being the master of being in the wrong place? The viper room is such a small room--I stepped out and was waiting outside while everyone was connecting with the guys inside. Then BObby and Dino stepped outside for some pictures and I'm like--oh there they are--and I move over and just as I get close they disappear again---Saw Marty as he stepped into the SUV and drove away. OKay I'm just letting my lack of personal encounter go and will let others tell you about the fricking hour they spent with the guys in the room while I was clueless. I've got to work on my awareness skills and also my pushiness. I tend to be pretty laid back.
Okay now to avoid focusings on the negative and take away from the amazing show.
The room was packed. I mean packed! In general everyone was cool. I was hanging with Mrs Bud and Chanvre and their hubbies--chatted with others around while waiting. Everyone was so cool.
It was actually funny before the guys got there--I was in line for the ladies room and everyone was chatting about what board they were on--and this poor women looked at me and said--board? am I missing something--I told her you sure are--and told her about the different boards especially this one. She didn't even know we existed--just a fan from the show. Boy was she funny. It was like were speaking alien to here. SHe looked so confused poor thing.
Anyway back to the show. The show didn't start till about 12:45a. If you haven't been to the Viper I have to explain tht there is a door that opens onto SUnset and the stage is surrounded by a curtain right next to the door. So at about 12:30--You'd see one of the guys slip in the door and behind the curtain. It was like--okay I know they are behind that curtain.--Can I take the contents behind curtain number 1?
They take to the stage.
Dino got his wish--there were panties flying at him. (I think he posted somewhere that they hadn't gotten any panties--yet.) Marty made point of saying--I don't know why you are sending me underwear--I don't wear any!)
There was a point where there was a problem with Billy's amp and Marty said--in the excitement he had kicked a hole in the amp. So while BIlly rewired Marty had to chat with the audience--Made a comment about wanting to be a stand up commediene at one point but that he wasn't funny.
Not sure if it is was at this point or another in the show--someone must have been encouraging him to strip and he said--this isn't a sex show.
Billy got rewired and they were off.
Songs: IN no apparent order and I'm not sure I got them all Staight as an Arrow Call of Distress THe Riddle Clinic Throw my head The tunnel Rain on Brain (god did they play this here or at Gibson or both? I'm so Confused.) Better off Walk Away Trees Paint it Black encore: This town
As some else reported Marty made a point of saying he was going to try to look at each face in the crowd and connect with each person as thanks for coming.
He also at one point said he loved that we all knew the lyrics and were singing along.
Dino said that they have been playing for these groups of 3000 people but this room was special. He said you guys are insane. (In a good way.) They seemed so happy to be in room where they could really feel the love.
Marty said. I see some old faces and some new faces. I want to get to know you all.
Marty walked out into the crowd and disappeared into the madness I could hear him singing but couldn't see anything except ocassionally the microphone high in the air. He walked along the tables on the along side of the room. He several times stood on something (the Speakers?--couldn't see) and held on to the top curtain and leaned out into the room.
What a connection with the crowd.
Susie McNeil was in the house standing behind me--and yes Rockbeast got his picture (I'll let him tell you his story!)
I can't convey how special this experience was. If you get a small room chance with the guys take it. Gibson was good but they didn't have the fans with them. the people around me were into it--but not on their feet. I think they impressed a lot of people here but people were there to see INXS--and actually I thought the guys got a lot of respect for an opening band everyone around me was listening bobbing heads and not talking--which while I would have preferred to be around dancers and people I could rock out with. I felt they liked the LH's show.
But in the Viper --wow sea of energy surrounding you--too much fun! Amazing. Words don't do it justice.

My comments from the Tour Towns board:
The guys got to the Viper Room pretty late, and didn't go on until after 12:30, I think? The room was PACKED. There was no room to breathe practically, but the energy from the crowd was amazing. I was a couple of feet from the stage (rocking out with mursbud and cjspas!). The guys were right in our faces!!
Memorable moments:
-There must have been at least 3-4 pairs of panties thrown on the stage when the guys first came out. Someone gave Marty a long-stemmed rose, too.
-Marty came out into the audience and sang in the crowd (he was right next to Jodie!) He was also climbing all over the booths, too.
-He said that througout the night he was going to try to look every single person in the eye to make a point that they "really "f***ing appreciate us being there."
-When they came out for the encore, Dino looked out at the crowd and said "You guys are f***ing CRAZY." Something along the lines of this was the best time they've had so far this tour. And the "chicks were hotter", too.
-Someone right next to the stage grabbed Marty's pants (trying to take them off! woot!) and he just stood there for a second and was laughed and said, "WOAH."
-When they first came on, he was scanning the crowd for Suzie McNeil, who was standing in the back of the room. Poor thing, I hope she could see! She's really short!
There are more but my brain is overwhelmed so I know I'm missing details! I don't remember the exact set list, but they performed for about an hour or so. The crowd was insane, singing, dancing..it was such an amazing experience. Much more so than Gibson. I can't even articulate it properly. Man.
Afterwards, everyone gathered out side (basically we got kicked out because the club was closing) and it was really cool to meet and talk with the other fans. Everyone was SO COOL! Bobby came out for a few minutes and dear God, that man is STUNNING in person. His smile is the most beautiful I think I've ever seen. He looked at me a couple of times, because I think he knew I was trying to work my way over, which I finally did. BUT, right before I got up to him (i was next in line!) to get a photo, he got swept away back into the club. SO CLOSE! Arghhhhh.
I saw Marty inside talking to Suzie, but didn't know that we could actually go back in there or I so would've. I was expecting the guys to come out and hang with us for a bit, so I, along with everyone else, was still waiting outside in the freezing cold. After about 45 minutes, the club completely cleared out and Marty walked outside to get into the car. I was standing right next to it, and my heart was racing, thinking, "oh my god. this is my chance!". But when he came out, I think he was a little taken aback that there were so many fans still waiting. He looked like he felt REALLY BAD that he had to leave so quickly. You could see it all over his face. Aww. A few people trampled me to get to him, and he gave like two autographs. I was so close that I could touch his face if I wanted, but he was in such a hurry that it was impossible to get a moment. I couldn't believe I had actually missed my chance. TWICE!
Basically, my overall opinion is that these guys are the real deal, man. They're so into their fans, and creating a bonding experience with everyone there. Their energy and passion are so contagious and inspiring, and now I don't see how I can enjoy ANY other music because nothing and no one will ever compare. Ever. I'm a little depressed today because I had it in my head that last night was THE night to actually meet them. Oh, my heart.
I got some pictures, but people were getting kicked out for using their cameras. Jodie and a few others were fearless so they have tons of photos to share, I'm sure. Either way, I had a most excellent time and will never forget it!!
I'm sure everyone else has more interesting recaps...sorry. I just wanted to share a little piece of mine.
XO

Went to both shows and agree, Viper Room was a once in a lifetime (hopefully not) experience. I did like the way Marty spurred on everyone when he ran into the crowd and climbed up singing and later said something like "get off your butts LA!' The Viper room was just awesome and sounded great - they really do sound better live and the energy level is incredible. Suzie was behind me too and at the end tried to move up with her friend holding Suzie's hand up, trying to get Marty's attention. Waited outside and missed the meet part, only saw Billy and Marty get into their SUV. Next time!

AMAZING!!!
so this was my first show to see the guys live, i was fortunate enough to get an extra ticket from Kelly and was able to meet about 25 or 30 more Marty/Lovehammer fans at Rainbow on sunset...it was awesome...
The show at viper was indescribeable!!! I was scared to take pictures for the fear of getting thrown out but it looked like stobe lights were going off so i took my chances and took a few. I will try to post them...I'll have to ask someone how.
Marty was awesome!!! As everyone said he was looking intensely at everyone in the crowd, and we were all singing along and dancing and doing the waving motions with out arms....you could tell they were really loving it as much as we were.
My feet were numb from not being able to move them the crowd was so tight but they could have fallen off and I wouldn't have cared...The guys were in awe on how excited we all were.
I desperately wanted to meet Marty, I met Dino, he was very nice. I'm not really an autograph type of girl, I would rather have a picture or a "moment", Finally when the guys were getting into their SUV Marty was right in front of the car door signing an autograph and I handed him one of my business cards (make-up artist) and he just automatically started to sign it, and I told him....that it was for him to keep, AND he looked at me so sweetly and said "thank you so much", and leaned in and GAVE ME A KISS!!! (now that, that I'll take) ha ha.
I am hooked...I mean I was before, but now that I have seen them live I can see why I met so many people here in LA that came from every other state to see them. Now the question is... where so I go next??
Thank you Marty, thank you LOvehammers... Thank you again Kelley.

Posted by: spiritgatewayOk , Jan, 27th 2:30 am I am on my couch sleeping… My phone starts ringing… Dazed I answer the phone hello I can’t hear the person I hang up… Then call them back it is Phil from Strain Busy Sky “ a band that opened for LOVEHAMMERS at the metro in Nov. he was calling to see if he could get the two extra tickets I had, they were in town and really hoped to see LH … I said of coarse the two tickets went to Phil and anther guy in the band. Ok tried to go back to sleep. 3.45 AM Zakk comes down stairs and wakes me up. He is like Tishhhhhhh it’s 3:45 you need to get ready to leave… I say ok just a minute can you hand me the trash can… “NOTE I WAS STILL ASLEEP” He brings me the trash can confused… Then says Tish here… I wake up and look at him like he is a nut. I say why are you giving me the trash can LMAO. He gives me this look… And says you asked for it I said ohh… Then he said I will see you when you get home… Then said I hope you come home… I laughed and said you really think I wouldn’t come home… He said if the guys think your as hot as I think you are then you might not… I laughed and said I know my way home.. He went back upstairs to bed I grabbed a few things brushed my teeth and off to the airport I went… Took a valium before getting on the plane so I could sleep on my way. My flight left the east coast at 6:30 am I slept all the way to LA basically.. My flight got to LAX at 1:40 pm LA TIME … I got out side took a shuttle to the United Airlines terminal to meet Rockbeast His plane got in at 2:15. I stood at the baggage claim area with a sign that said LOVEHAMMERS VIPER ROOM JAN 27TH MIDNIGHT ! Thought that would get his attention , yet he saw the sign came up to me and was like are you selling tickets. I laughed and said I’m Tisha ! He hugged me and was like ohhhhhhhhhh I was not expecting you to be so SHORT!!!!!!!!!! Great I am already getting told I am short! Ok We go out wait for a shuttle to go the hotel. I gave girls from Europe some lovehammers.com magnets J , As we ride to the hotel we see this wall with THE LOVEHAMMERS posters all over it. We are like we have to find that and get a picture!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was a mission .. Then we drive for 40 more minutes with the shuttle thinking god that wall is so far away from us. Then we get to the hotel and we get to RB’S room and I call Gina .. Her and Claudia come down and hang out with us until they have to go get ready for the Gibson. Rockbeast had some JackDanials and talked and got ready for the show. I put some GUY LINER on RB J … I WAS starving on the plane I had a donut as my meal that was all I had eaten since I left my house at 4 something am , So we headed to the rainbow early .. WOW WE find the wall of loverhammers posters that we went by on the way to the hotel they seemed like they were miles away but alas the shuttle driver had just taken us miles out of the way! We get our pictures taken with the wall of posters. AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then we get to the Rainbow our party is meeting there at 8pm but I wanted to eat so that I could drink! HELLLL YEAHHH … I got a salad and mozzarella sticks. RB and I shared them he got a Jack and diet coke I think. I got a huge COKE J Then NENA from mc.org came in and found me she knew me from my lovehammers shirt J and she said my eyes stood out in the bar so she knew it was me… My eyes stood outtttt ohhhh god I hope that is good, She was drinking wine her hubby had a beck beer. We met up with the group and went inside. I started drinking mudslides at that point. A MUDSLIDE AT THE RAINBOW COST 7 DOLLARS. Rockbeast and I hangout for awhile then we decide to go to the hotel to pickup a few things and for me to ditch my sweatshirt. I had a red shirt on that had BOBBY ACROSS MY BOOBS IN GLOW IN THE DARK INK. On my way to the hotel Phil call’s and says he was leaving the Gibson. He was on 101 heading to the viper. I said im going to the hotel and will meet him there shortly. Phil and I got there about the same time. Rockbeast got inside before me. I stayed with Phil waiting for his friend so we could all get in together. The security guys let us in perfect they check the list my name was on it more then three times? Who else put tickets in my name. So we left a ticket in Donavan’s name or something like that. So that he could get in with one of my tickets. The chick with Phil was awesome I forget her name but she freaked when I knew she was a Scorpio and guessed her birthday. She was like whoa that’s freaky. She thought it was so cool that I am a psychic. I bought anther mudslide AT THE VIPER ROOM MUDSLIDES COST 9 DOLLARS Then we could hear the band coming in. As the show started My belly flipped! A couple beside where we were hanging out at the second booth back thought it was so awesome I knew so much about the band, they had no clue who they were. I gave the lovehammers stickers magnets and flyers. They let me stand on the bench to throw pink boyshort sexy lace panties up on stage. Phil and I did Southern Comfort shots together with a cheers… Dino looked so hot on stage I couldn’t help watch him…. Bobby was hard to see but looked hot from what I saw. Billy was so far from me but I think I got a few pic’s of him. Marty hung from the stage reached in the crowed had a chick in the first booth sing wohwohwohwoh into the mic with him. Suzie mc. Stood beside me a few minutes I gave her lh magnets she put them in her pocket said thankyou and hugged me. Then as she ducked and jetted Marty walked out onto the tables right there standing right above where suzie had stood seconds before. Marty touched my face as he sang I touched him for a seconfd then grabbed his friend from Chicago and pulled her over she just wved. Phil got back and was disappointed he had been at the bar when Marty came over lol. Kristenhead stood behind me awhile I think she moved as I was jumping a whole lot. I got shows to rockout and party. The couple at the table bought me anther shot of southern comfort and a bottle of water. Then someone else bought me a shot of southern comfort waitress pointed but I did not see who… Then Marty said they needed drinks. The waitress was beside me and I gave her my credit card and told her to get a beer for each of the guys from me And bring me anther shot of Southern Comfort. Then some guy with a strange beard bought me a shot “ I think people wanted me drunk” I thanked the guy he said it was great to watch me rock… IS THAT A GOOD THING Everyone has stated the song list… I so love Call of distress and Hold on and Riddle. And everything f**king else! Then they say show is over…. BUT friend from Chicago says its not over Jeremy is coming out to play with them AWESOME….. I GOT my camera out and snapped away as Jeremy played with them… It was over way to soon. I hung around for awhile and then end up outside. I saw Jeremy I got him to sign my viper room PHOTO FLYER he looked at me kinda strange and I said you are not on the flyer but you played with them he smiled and signed it right away. I did not know I would see Bobby so I gave Jeremy a necklace to give bobby that says Respect “ on a sterling infinity ring “ and Spirit “ on a sterling infinity ring “ so the two rings together say Respect Spirit …. It is a part of me ya know… Then I ended up seeing Bobby… All these girls see Bobby’s name glowing in the dark on my boobs on my red shirt . They push me up to him. I say hey you … He looked at me strange and I showed him my shirt he laughed and hugged me I whispered to him Last time you kissed me … So he just kissed me and signed my pic. Then I ended up inside with Billy … He hugged me so tight it was the sweetest bear hug ever. He could not believe I flew in just for the show. I was squashed against him for at least 5 minutes no one would let me move. I said god I’m sorry … your married . He did not have a problem with me being the one having to be squashed against him. So for me being afraid to touch him at the aragon I got double time with billy at the viper. Then inside I got pretty pissed as I waited for Dino to sign my pic. Then Finally got to the point and said f**k it I give up on Dino. I totally did not give a damn I stood by him for so long and you no what I won’t even go into that part of my report I still say f**k IT! Then security yelled show is over bar is closing EVERYONE out. At that point I walked over to Dino and said sign my f**king picture “ ack I was demanding” I was kinda pissed “ I had wanted him to sign the one of him alone but I let the security guys rush me out the door. Then I stood on the side of the club with everyone. I was still so very pissed over a little that happened in the club I won’t go there… But then Four guys come running down the street and its Bobby , Dino and two other guys “unkown to me” I yell I love you Dino the guys say hurry but Dino turns around runs right at me and gives me total Dino love and I give him Tisha love…. Then the guys are yelling come on we have to go! Dino lets me go and hugs gina and kisses her cheek I think. THEN I realize f**k I am going to get him to sign my damn picture of him. So I run torward the SUV with him and say Dino your not leaving until you sign my damned picture Said a little about what happened inside” The guys said get in Dino and Dino looked at me and said get in. I climb in he says close the door. I get my picture signed … Got love … I was getting ready to get out and saw Bobby in the front… I forgot Bobby had even been running with them… Dino was on my mind.. I hugged dino and said god I love you … but I love bobby more.. He pushed me away a second and said I don’t love you anymore… But then I grabbed him and said I am lied I love you to death baby… He said I love you to Thank you for everything… Then I was out of the SUV and went over to the girls watching who wanted to know what happened in the SUV I said I got my picture signed… Then LAID down on the side walk my legs were weak… I looked up at the sky and thought this is the best night of my life…. I could not believe Dino ran up to me and gave me love. I was already slightly buzzed but after getting out of the SUV I felt like I was falling through clouds I still need someone to catch me… Great show I love you guys… You so rocked and treated me with more respect then I could ever dream.. You made me feel like you cared… This is my review ….

As everyone else has already said, the Viper Room was a wonderfully intense show. I was at Highland the night before which was just as good, but my anticipation on meeting Marty kept me form fully enjoying the show. Since I did get to meet him at Highland, I was truly relaxed at Viper and just enjoyed the show including the music and of course Marty's stage presense which was just out of this world!
Even better was the fact that I got a chance to meet so many of you in person! The dinner at Rainbow before the show was great. Everyone there is so cool and it was a blast hanging out with people who felt just like I do about Marty and Lovehammers!
If any of you got pics at dinner, please share them as I never took out my camera during dinner.
Looking foward to a another So CA rocking evening!

Went to the Viper with hammerhubby and rocked out with cjspas and chanvre & hubby. The show started late but kicked butt! Wish it had gone longer. The room was small and crowded. Wall to wall hammerheads packed in like sardines. We had 5th row seats at the Gibson and saw them really close up, but this was incredible. You could see the sweat pouring off their faces. The energy was awesome. The guys really worked their butts off on stage. They put all their heart into it. Marty even grabbed Dino's hair.
Was outside with countless others waiting for a meet & greet. Feel bad that so many missed out, especially the fans who traveled so far. Did connect with Dino. He and I had PM'd a few times and he remembered me. Dino's the sweetest guy. Caught one of Bobby's drumsticks at the Gibson and he signed it for me after the Viper show. Didn't have a pen because I wasn't expecting to get any autographs. Jodie came to my rescue and whipped out a sharpie. You rock, girl! Told Bobby that Jodie was the one who had followed the bus and then I shrieked like a 14-year-old groupie, "She's our hero!" (Hammerhubby thought this was a bit over the top.)
More later as I think of anything. We stayed overnight at the Bel Age and left early (with only five hours sleep). Met 4reeds outside the hotel. I'm dragging now for lack of beauty sleep and have to get ready for a formal dinner tonight. (Lucky me!) Hope I don't fall asleep at the table.

Okay, Im going to give only my personal story because Penny was with me and she is so much better at this than me.
This was my first lovehammers concert. I got up at 4:00am yesterday to fly to L.A. I arrived in the morning and Jodieca came and picked me up at the hotel so that we could go and get Penny, Chitownchick and Penny's friend D. Our luck, the 405 to the airport was SHUT DOWN so we were stuck forever on the highway. By the way, Jodie likes to read maps WHILE she is driving on the highway so keep that in mind if your going to drive with her (love you Jodie)!
Finally got the girls and headed to the hotel. Went by the viper and bought shirts and scoped out the place. It was so unbelieveably small! We were dying. There was not a single bad seat in the house. Club is all black with three booths on each side of the stage and a bar. We scoped out EXACTLY where we wanted to sit then left to get ready for dinner.
We met so many other fans for dinner. There were 24 of us for dinner at the rainbow room, and everyone had a blast! We took pictures, had some drinks and some food and talked about our love of the band.
We headed over to the viper at about 11:00. There was a band playing and the place was PACKED. Band was good. We squished right up to the stage to the second/third row of people (literally 4 feet from the stage) dead center. There was a very annoying drunk girl who me, Jodie, Chitownchick and Penny had to deal with, but it was all good.
All of a sudden, the back door enters and we see Bobby, Dino and Billy enter one at a time behind a curtain. Then we hear Marty's beautiful voice behind the curtain and one of the girls up front opened the curtain and there was Marty in his speed freaks shirt, blue pinstrip pants with black belt, black soldier jacket and sunglasses. We all started screaming!
Opened with Straight as an Arrow and the crowd was rocking! Marty was so funny and panties started flying towards the stage. A girl to the left of the stage was dancing on a table in her negligee! Craziness ensued! Marty made the comment about how he doesn't wear underwear and then someone gave him a rose and he was like "a rose and underwear- what am I Tom Jones?" It was very cute. Some of the ladies were begging him to take off his clothes and he was like, "in time", and "I'll do it if you do it" and "this isnt a sex show"-he was very snarky.
Did I mention he was like three feet from us? We were out of our minds. Penny was calling everyone so they could hear and I was dancing and screaming. Marty looked at every single person in the audience and when he looked at me I felt like a puddle of mush. You heard the song set list and we couldnt have asked for a better set of songs. Marty was jumping on the speakers, came out in the audience to where we were standing (next to Jodie!) and I got to touch him and he was jumping with everyone. Then he was off in a shot (that boy is fast) over to the booths.
The rest of the songs were amazing. Everyone there knew the songs and you could tell that the band was loving it as much as we were. Marty did all his classic moves, mad conductor, head banging. As for his state of undress, first the jacket came off to reveal the speed freaks t-shirt. Then, I think a song or two before the finale the shirt came off. Holy Mother of God. 1/2 naked Marty. Sweat hitting us in the audience. It was surreal. Marty was kind enough to give us the back shot (you know, when he stands backwards and extends his hands to the sides, and, well, I was done.
They rocked! Then, when they came back and did an encore of "This Town" it was absolute madness. Jeremy, the merchandies guy was up there playing guitar. Dino remarked that the viper show was better for them than the shows where they played for thousands (Marty remarked on that too how he loved the intimate setting where he could see everyone). Bobby was just unbelieveably gorgeous and amazing as usual. Billy was fantastic as always and threw his hat out at the end of the show. Bobby threw a drum stick.
It was over WAY TOO SOON. That is my only complaint. The show was only about 45 minutes and it seemed like 5 minutes and they were gone.
Like everyone else, we cleared out of the club. Saw Suzie McNeal on the way out. She's much smaller than I thought. Once outside, Penny decided to go in to the bathroom. We were being told that the guys were gone. People were starting to leave. I was so bummed! Me and Chitownchick decided to go get some water and I told Penny that if she saw Marty inside she better call my cell.
Im in buying water and my cell rings. Its Penny! She hangs up before I answer it. I yell to Chitwon- come on! Penny called, she must have found the guys! The bouncer didnt want to let people back in and no one knew they were inside. I got in, so did Chitown and as I walked in there by the bathrooms was Penny and D and MARTY! I was dying.
Anyhow, so I go over to MARTY and Penny and D and Penny is nudging me in the side to talk to Marty. Im speechless. He is just stunning. And his voice is warm and inviting and raspy and I was trying to think of just the right thing to say.
So, people are starting to come up and Penny is like "hurry up! Just do it" and Im all flustered so I shove out my hand like Im at a business meeting and Im like "Hi, Im from Florida. I flew six hours to get here" But, I said it in this creepy rainman kind of way that was clearly disturbing. Marty was like "wow, and what's your name?". I stood there for like thirty seconds and was like "can I hug you?" (such a tool) and as I am HUGGING HIM (best hug ever and I whisper in his ear that Im Kelley). He then looked me in the eye and I know his lips were moving but I have no idea what he said. I shove a picture at him and ask him to sign and he agrees and he is excited because it is the White Sox Picture. After he signed it he told me that he will see me in Boca and that they are going to tear it up because its the last show. I said lsd;kjfweo4uit49out or something like that and Penny said, "lets take a picture" while Marty and I are looking at each other and Penny, who is wonderful with a camera, took a picture of our feet. (love you Penny!) She tried for a second shot while Marty and I had our arms around each other and the bouncer came over and almost took the camera and threatened to kick us out. Alas, it was not my destiny to have a picture with Marty this time (although I have a great shot of our feet). I'll get one in Boca. By the way, while he was hugging me I kept smelling him (is that gross?) and he smells so nice. Even after sweating his head off, he has no body odor....sigh...
Then, I move on to Dino. He is so funny and sweet. We are talking and another girl came over to get her breasts signed so I waited patiently. I again said that same stupid thing: "hi, Im from florida and I flew six hours to see you guys". Again, I appeared "odd" to say the least. He was like "okay, that's cool!" a little more idle chit chat and I handed him a picture to sign. He said, "can I borrow your chest" and I said "okay, but dont sign my boobs" and he put the picture against my chest and signed it. Very cute. So sweet.
Then I saw Billy. I cannot say enough how sweet and nice he is. He was in a rush so he signed my picture and gave me a hug. I of course said the same ridiculous thing I kept saying and I have no idea what was the matter with me. Truly, it was painful.
Then, well, there was Bobby. First, I saw Bobby all sweaty with no shirt on and I instinctively grabbed his naked bicep. Hubba hubba. I saw him again later and can't even bring myself to type the same ridiculous opening line that I used with the other guys. He looked at me like maybe I was a little slow and smiled and said "what's your name, honey?" I don't even remember answering him but my picture says, "To Ke lley...." so I must have said it. Did I mention how beautiful he is? Anyhow, Jodi is standing there and she's like "ask him for a picture" but I didnt have the nerve because there were like 5 girls vying for his attention. Jodie called me tonite and told me she got a good one of us anyways while he was signing my picture. Sigh....
We were inside with the guys and only a handful of others for close to an hour. It was the most amazing night. I was skipping when we left the club. We were all so giddy we were up till 5:00am Cali time (that's 8:00am Fla time so I had been up for 28 hours and Im no spring chicken)
Also want to shout out to Kimberly87 who is the coolest chick and Jezza who hung out with us. It was nice meeting 4reeds and waitingformc and nancybbe as well at dinner. Cant wait to see all the pictures!
Wait till you hear Penny and Chitown's stories! Hope I didnt bore you!

When I first heard last month that the Lovehammers were going to play a midnight show at the legendary Viper Room club in California, I just knew I had to go!! Especially after seeing them live for the first time at the Paramount Theater in Seattle on January 19th. I was fortunate enough to meet 3 Lovehammers that night. (Everyone but Dino!) And I got my picture taken with them and also some autographs and I gave Marty Casey a dog tag that I picked up for him at a Naval Air base after Thanksgiving. The dog tag is silver and it says “Marty” in black down the front. Marty really liked the dog tag and has wore it at every single show on the tour so far. It’s really cool when you see him wearing something you gave him.
Ok, back to the Viper Room. Just prior to the show, about 24 Hammerheads gathered at the Rainbow Bar and Grill on Sunset and had good drink, food and conversation for a couple of hours. We then hopped over to the Viper Room. When I got inside, I about stopped dead in my tracks because the place was TINY!! The Viper Room has a small stage. It was at this point that I realized that this show was going to be something “special”! The venue was adamant about NO PHOTOGRAPHY. But people had their cameras anyhow. There was some band playing on stage when we got there, and I had no idea who they were, but they were not bad. The vocals were barely there, something was not right. If the vocals were clearer, I would have enjoyed this band more. But two songs and they were done and then it was time to GET HAMMERED!!
Well, the boys were late. I stood about half way back and was standing there and thinking I just had to get closer, so I somehow wormed my way to the front of the stage and stood amongst fellow hammerheads. We were packed in like sardines. It felt like you could not fit another person in without a shoehorn. And boy was the heat sweltering in the Viper Room. Thank god I left my left my leather coat at the hotel room. The beer I was drinking helped cool me off some. But we had to stand there for over a half hour until the Lovehammers arrived. They played a show with INXS the same night at the Gibson Amphitheater at Universal Studios. So they were held up somehow. But they were rushed in, in pairs. First Bobby and Billy came in and went behind the stage curtain. I had a perfect view of this. The crowd cheered on when the guys came in. Some girls were peeking under the curtain to get a glimpse of a Lovehammer. Marty was the last to come inside and legions of girls screamed at the top of their lungs and also screamed out “MARTY!!!” They tuned their instruments behind the curtain for what seemed like and ETERNITY and then the show began with a bang. Billy’s opening guitar riff from Straight as an Arrow started them off and running and Marty started jumping all around. He would sing in the middle, and then go over to the left hand side, and then to the right hand side (Where I was standing) and he would try to make eye contact with everyone in the crowd. It was really cool. After Straight as and Arrow, Marty said sorry for being late or something to that effect. Girls were pawing at Marty’s feet, legs, thighs, belt and stomach and he looked down at them grinning ear to ear and said “C’mon ladies, this is not a Sex Show!” and some distant voice yelled “It COULD Be”. They played for almost 70 minutes I think. A little longer than the Seattle show, and plus they played 4 different songs that they didn’t play in Seattle. Marty really connected with the crowd and said, “I recognize some faces, some faces I do not recognize but would like to get to know those faces better” and then he said “He was going to try to get eye contact with everyone there at least once”. After a break between songs Marty asked “Has anyone seen Suzie McNeil, Suzie are you out there” and I looked around and saw 4 or 5 hands raised in the crowd. Marty wore the black t-shirt with Speed Freaks, Hollywood (in red), which he took off (after the girls were begging for him to take it off the whole show). He turned away from the crowd and took the shirt off and threw it and then turned around and all he had around his neck was the dog tag I gave him in Seattle. It was a memorable moment for sure. Other highlights were when some fans passed their bra and panties up on stage. The band REALLY looked like they enjoyed that. Towards the end, they played “This Town” and had Jeremy up on stage playing second guitar. Jeremy is their merchandise guy and a very good friend to the band. Someone told me he used to be in Brides of Destruction, but I am not sure about that. The Lovehammers owned the night at the Viper Room. The sound was PERFECT. It was LOUD and CLEAR. I really wished that they would have played for 2 hours. I so wanted to hear more of Ultrasound. They played “Throw my Head” though and that was a treat for me. Every song they played the crowd sang along as well as yours truly. It was a very cool thing to witness. In Seattle they opened with Ultrasound and played “Ring of Fire” (the Johnny Cash song). At the Viper Room, they played the very dark Stones cover “Paint it Black”, which gave me total chills from head to toe. I did not want the night to end, but it did sadly come to an end. They only did one encore which was better than none. So we hung around and went outside for air and I ran into Suzie McNeil and told her that I loved her. I asked her if I could have my picture with her and she said “Sure”. She was a very sweet person. I now know why Dave Navarro coined her “Sweet Suzie McNeil”. Some of the Lovehammers surfaced as well and I got to talk to Bobby Kourelis and get my picture taken with him and I had him sign the cover of the new CD for me. I then met Dino Kourelis for the first time and he knew who I was already. I got my picture with Dino too. Marty, I guess, was around the back of the Viper very briefly and I talked to some very lucky hammerheads that were able to meet him and get an autograph and a quick picture. It was all over around 2:10 am when we watched Bobby and Dino and two other guys drive off in a SUV on their way back to the bus to head to Las Vegas for the next INXS show. I want to personally thank Marty and Lovehammers for making my trip to L.A. worth every single penny. I breathed in the experience and will never forget it for as long as I live. This band RULES in concert. I highly recommend that everyone goes to one of their shows. It’s like amazing beyond words. In closing I want to send a shout out to all the crazy fellow hammerheads that made it to the Viper Room and thanks for being so real. STAY HAMMERED

I was at the Viper in the afternoon to check the place out with Penny, D and Kelley, and we bought some shirts while we were there to get signed later. We went back to the hotel, grabbed a quick bite to eat, and started getting ready for the Rainbow Room. Went to the Rainbow room and got to meet everyone from the two boards (here and loverhammers' board) which was great. We had fun at dinner reminscing over everyone's concert experiences and sharing our mutual love for the band. My group (Penny,D,Kelley,jezza,Kimberly87 and me) were the last ones out of the restaurant and got to the Viper @ 11 p.m. The place was already very crowded. I wasn't concerned, however, since the woman we spoke to earlier at the Viper had told us they would be clearing the place out after the last band and that those of us there for the Lovehammers' set would be re-admitted.
During the last band's final song, I went to the ladies' restroom. When I came out, the last act had ended and the place had gotten even more crowded. I realized then that the management would not be clearing the place out and started freaking out as there was barely any room to move. I somehow managed to get back near the group I was with. We waited for over half an hour and people were squeezed together like sardines. The guy next to me kept apologizing for bumping into me - I told him it was not problem, and that it was like this at the end of the Metro show. Finally, the guys arrive through the side door and take the stage, and the crowd is totally psyched for the show to begin.
The set started with Straight as an Arrow which was amazing. The crowd was rocking out. I believe the set list included:
Straight as an Arrow Hold On Call of Distress Better Off Walk Away The Tunnel The Riddle Throw My Head Trees Clinic Paint it Black This Town
Everyone has already reported about the panties being thrown on stage, Marty and Dino's comments to the crowd, etc. After I believe the first or second song was over, Marty mentioned that they were really thirsty and if someone could get them some drinks. Shortly thereafter, beers were in hand for each of the guys. At the start of the next song, Billy was smoking a cigarette while playing (in the non-smoking venue). Seeing that was one of my favorite moments of the concert - it felt like you were watching a band at your local bar, except the band happened to be the LOVEHAMMERS! Shortly after that, the mean bouncer dude came to our area with a flashlight and started yelling at some guy just to the left of Jodie about taking pictures and made it clear he would lose the camera if he saw it again. I was cracking up as Jodie had just taken a bunch of pics and had just put her camera away. I didn't get the nerve to pull my camera out until near the end of the concert and kept looking around for the bouncer dude. During The Tunnel, Marty walked out into the crowd and ended up finding his way over to Jodie (who was next to me) and sang to her which was cool. People were grabbing his hand, touching him, etc. as he was working the crowd. The ladies in the first row also appeared to have several opportunities to touch Marty. Before I knew it, they had finished playing This Town and the show was over. At that point, the management kept repeating the show was over and kicked everyone out of the venue.
Everyone is outside the venue waiting for the guys to come out. A fan is trying to get their pic taken with Bobby and mean bouncer dude screams no pics! This fan asks Bobby to come outside for a pic, which he graciously agreed to do. People began approaching Bobby for autographs, etc. I had asked Jodie if she would please take my pic with Bobby with her camera as I didn't want to be wasting time trying to find my camera buried in my purse. I was behing mrsbud as she was getting her drumstick signed from Bobby (congrats to you, mrsbud on catching the drumstick at the Gibson show!). I took Jodie's pic with Bobby, and then people continued to ask for autographs. I then walked up right next to him and asked if I could please have a picture with him. I believe the conversation went something like this: "Bobby, can I please get my picture taken with you", and he smiles and says "Sure". I'm standing next to him and say "you're an amazing drummer . . .kdjfjdgyhtjrys....I love your music....kjytbh@jkjfdf$jfkldj......I totally love you...." I'm sure it sounded like total gibberish but I did get my picture taken with him (thanks Jodie!). He continued signing autographs and taking more pics but then had to go back in the venue. I also saw Rockbeast get his photo taken with Suzie and got to see the picture - I was very happy for you, Rockbeast!
I went to the corner store with Kelley to get a bottle of water as it had been at least 3 hours since I'd had anything to drink (the 3 glasses of wine at dinner didn't help hydrate me). Kelley gets the call from Penny and tells me to hurry up. I tell her I'll catch up with her - have to get my water as I am dying of thirst. I then leave the store and look around and see Kelly, Penny and D are nowhere to be found. I'm walking around and realize they must be back in the Viper room. The side door is closed and you can't just walk in. However, I see the bouncer dude is opening it occassionally to let people out. I wait for my opportunity. Next time I see the door open, I am standing there and ask mean bouncer dude if I can come in for a quick moment. I told him that I believe I got separated from my group and asked if I could please do a quick walk through to see if they are in there. He says sure and I walk right in with the door slamming behind me. I just about fall over as I see Billy, Bobby, and Dino in there talking to fans, signing autographs, etc.
I make my way over to Billy, asked for his autograph and talked to him for awhile. I had heard him mention he's from Oak Lawn. I told him my hubby grew up in Oak Lawn, we are fellow South Siders, we saw him perform the National Anthem at the White Sox game, he is an amazing guitartist, we (me and hubby) really appreciate their music and are looking forward to seeing them the following weekend at the Chicago Theatre. Billy is so sweet and just continues to thank me, gives me a long hug, mentions he can't believe I flew from Chicago, etc. I then make my way back to Bobby and ask for his autograph as I forgot to earlier. I do not approach Dino as he is constantly surrounded by a group of people and is laughing with everyone and having a great time. I just was enjoying watching Dino having a great time interacting with his group. Finally, I see Penny as she is in her "compromising position" with Marty. I have a good laugh as I see her shirt being signed since I had suggested earlier in the afternoon that we buy the shirts to get them signed and realize I totally forgot I had my shirt with me. I was so blown away by being close to the guys that I didn't even think about the shirt. I did not get Marty's autograph but saw him and then heard the bouncer dude make the announcement that everyone had to leave the venue NOW. I went outside and waited with others. We saw Marty come out of the Viper room, sign a couple of autographs (this was also when Kimberly87 got her kiss from him!), and then he was in the car and left. We then got to meet Jeremy and talked to him for awhile which was cool. Just spent the rest of the time milling around outside the venue and saying our goodbyes to everyone we had met. Treebee, I love the necklace, and forgot to tell you that you looked totally hot - you were in rock chick mode! I loved every moment of this experience (other than the drunk chick we had to deal with for part of the concert - she left when she realized Jodie and Penny were about to kick her a**).
I want to say thank you to all the hammerheads I got to meet, even if briefly.
I hope those of you going to future concerts on the tour get the chance to meet fellow fans and hope you have an opportunity to do a meet and greet with the guys. All the guys in the band truly appreciate the support of the fans.

Wow! I finally made it home! What a show. I will try to tell you my experiece as best I remember. I was at the club early with some other girls, watched the other bands play, they were all pretty good. Tho, I couldnt really hear the last band's singer over the guitar. I was one of the ladies up front peeking thru the curtain, lol. We a had a mighty fine view of things! First we saw Bobby and Billy, then Dino. Everyone was watching the side door for Marty, when he came in the room went a little nuts. We kept peekin thru the curtains. Marty was standing there in his sunglasses, black jacket, speed freaks shirt, pinstripe pants and converse shoes. I couldnt stop looking at him! Its true what everyone said, the guys are even better lookin in person! Everyone pretty much told the set list already, so I will just try to remember other stuff that happened. First song was Straight as an Arrow. We were screaming for Marty to take of his shirt, he was like 'its coming off..eventually.' I screamed to him that I wanted it when it DID. but no.. he threw it up by the drums.lol. I think it was during the second or third song someone handed marty a rose and panties were being flung up on stage. Marty says something like.. " Its going to be a hell of a night, only the second song and weve got panties up here. ... what am I frickin' Tom Jones? Dont know why youre throwing me underwear I don't wear any." To which us ladies screamed "PROVE IT". I had one h*ll of a view from where I was. front and center. Marty was up in everyones face, sweating on us, I was one of the ladies rockbeast was saying was grabbing him all over! YEP! I was so close I could see the freckles on his arms! The whole show was amazing!! Dino kicked butt on the bass, Billy was outstanding as usual, and Bobby kept us all thumpin with his beat. I tried to look at the other guys from time to time, but Marty was sooo close and in our face, I could hardly look away. He walked across the three side tables at one point, Then went down into the crowd and jumped around. I have some phone pics that I will try to post later. The show was over too soon as everyone said. We went outside and waited for our chance to meet the guys. One of the girls I was with had lost her wallet by the stage so we went back in to look for it, found it. As we left I caught sight of Billy by the stage so I asked him to sign my L'Strange, he did and I went outside so others could get their chance to talk to him. Oh, I forgot, as we went back in to look for the wallet, Bobby was coming out and got a lot of pats on the back and such. I think I touched his arm and said dlskfsldkj.. or something inteligent. ...
Ok, after meeting Billy I went out the door and Bobby was there getting autographs and pics with all the hammerheads! I recognized alot of faces from the boards, but didnt get a chance to introduce myself to anyone really. I introduced myself to Rockbeast, He was happier than a kid at christmas after that show! I waited for a chance to get Bobbys autograph, but then we went back in the bar and I went in after him. Bouncer yelled, "last one in" and shut the door behind me. I followed Bobby and waited for my turn. Asked him to sign my cd liners, told him how far I came to see them, he said 'youre crazy!" told him I'd see him next weekend too. I stepped aside to let others have their turn, then realized I HAD to have a hug from him, so I asked him If I could have a hug before I left and he said SURE! sweety. Ok, then I decided I better get my butt back outside and wait for Marty, I didnt know he had been at the back of the club, I couldnt see him from where I was. I went around to the side of the building and saw all my girls already with him! So I hightailed it down the side walk and walked around the outside of the others that were gathered. Sorry if i peed anyone off by butting up, but I WAS NOT going to miss my chance. So I gave Marty my garter,, he was so in awe of all the people there, he tried hard to talk to everyone and get as many pics with everyone as he could. This is one gracious man people. Some friends were able to get a couple pics of me with marty before he was whisked away...
after Marty left we just stood out there visiting. THen suddenly Bobby and Dino came running by. I was there with Tisha and a couple other girls, I dont remember exactly who. But we caught them and got hugs and kisses. I missed Bobby but I GRABBED Dino as I hadnt got a moment with him yet. I said YOU HAVE to give me a hug before you go, I came a long way! He was like ok ok.. to all of us.. giggling.. smiling so cute! So he grabbed my waist, gave me a little squeezy hug and a peck on the cheek and said I have to go now. THen they took off across the street. Tisha took off after them! I was asking myself why I didnt go with her..lol.. She sat in there for a minute, then they pulled out into the street and she got out and told us what happened inside. GO TISH!!!
We all hung around visiting. Then the crazies started coming out, so it was time to hail a cab! It was so hard to say goodbye to all the awesome people I had met because of this band! Ok, I will probably remember more little details later.. but this is my rambling!

Posted by: penny74Preparty at Rainbow Room: I'm so glad that we planned this - it was great to meet so many Hammerheads from all over. We were split into two different booths though, so I didn’t get to spend as much time with the other group as I would have liked. At our table was me, my friend D, ChiTownChick, Klly, Kimberly87, 4reeds, Nancy/BBE, Waiting4Mc, Jezza…and I feel like I am missing somebody….I hope not. We had a great time! We got to the viper room around 11:00. It was jam packed: wall to wall people. We had been there in the afternoon checking things out and were told that everyone was going to be kicked out at 11:30 and then those with tickets to the LH show would be readmitted. This of course, didn't happen and when 11:30 came around the last band, Building a Better Spaceship, was just finishing up. They were quite good by the way. I was grooving. Isn't it funny how being up on stage can make guys so much more attractive? I was digging the bassist with the cornrows. So finally the other band packs it in and they close the curtain in front of the stage. People start to get really excited and push and push and push. There were some women there that I would call....really....not very nice...and that is all I am going to say about that. So we FINALLY see the guys duck behind the curtain and everyone goes mad. People in front were parting the curtains and I caught a couple of glimpses of Marty back there wearing sunglasses. I think someone was even snapping pics through the curtain. Awesome. I called DG at this point and we were chatting as best we could over the noise of the crowd. She has since told me that I was commenting on Marty's ass and that we discussed pantless Marty for quite some time. Personally, I think she is making that up to make me look bad. It's something she would do. So the show starts with Straight as an Arrow. They sounded incredible. They were soooo sweaty and lovehammery hot. Marty was wearing the other pair of pants that he owns - the pinstriped ones - with faden's favorite Speed Freaks tee. (You'll have to excuse some of the squee here. I can't seem to help myself. And if I cut it all out, my review would probably be two sentences long.) So Marty was singing and leaning out over us and oh my god, so close to us, so close! He was on fire. Screaming, jumping, and mad conductoring all over the place. I even got a little Marty sweat on me from a particularly energetic head shake. Yes, I showered it off. It's been four days, after all. You read that panties were being tossed on the stage? My friend D was the first to toss them up there! Hee. Oh, when Marty got the rose he said, "A rose? Who am I Tom Jones now?" LMAO Marty was talking quite a bit during the show. Something about wanting to be a standup comedian? Uh, don't quit your day job, pal. Okay, okay, I laughed, but that's because I'm hooked! "oh Marty, you think of everything." Remember that? I'm an idiot! You can't trust my taste in comedy when it comes wrapped up in a tall, thin, blonde, mad-conductoring, eye-f***ing package like that! You all know their setlist by now. Oh good heavens, they played Call of Distress! I was screaming and stomping and jumping and squeeing all over the place. No Ring of Fire though. Dang. No Velvet, even though I screamed for it quite a bit. True story. I have since read in other reviews that someone saw their setlist and it had Velvet on it - but they SKIPPED it? Oh, the humanity. Okay. So Marty was a wild man. He kept standing on the edge of the stage and leaning way way over. I got so many good pics. Cindy has just put them up and you can see them here if you want: www.martycasey.org/viper5_1-27.htmHe took his shirt off about a half hour into the show at which time I screamed "SHIRT OFF! SHIRT OFF!" into the poor soul's ear that happened to be on the phone with me at the time. Turns out it was Beachgirl. Sorry Beachgirl! Oh, can I just say how much fun it was to watch Dino? At the other shows I have been to, he has been so intense and serious. He was having an absolute ball. He had a huge grin on his face half the time and he kept coming across the stage to jam with Billy and sing with him and they were just having so much fun. It put a huge smile on my face. I love this band. Plus, Dino did some talking during the show himself. About how this was the best show of the tour because they had some many fans that knew all the lyrics and the chicks were hotter too. He's cute. And Bobby? At one point when Marty was over on the other side of the stage...I found myself watching his pounding sweaty Bobbyness and he looked up and I smiled and he smiled back. Sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. That's all I have to say about that. Billy was rocking. He was right in front of us and was on fire, as usual. He was wearing a cool Harley tee that I loved. During one song (Better Off Walk Away?) I look up and there is another guy on stage by Dino. Wha? Who? He looked young. We met him after the show, said his name is Jeremy and he has been buddies of the band since he was 17. Since he looked about 17 1/2 I had to ask his age. He's 22. So okay. He sells merch and stuff at the shows, so look for him. Looks like Bobby from behind, kinda I guess, if you're drunk. He has (dyed) jet black hair. Sweetie. So the show ends - WAY TOO SOON, but nobody ever asks my opinion - and the guys just say thanks and goodnight and hop off the stage and run out the door. Bizarre. Everyone just stands there stunned for a minute. People start going out the same door, probably thinking the guys will be out there signing stuff. We head out there, after seeing Suzie (don't ask me about this if you are a Suzie fan. Really. Don't.) and people are just hanging out, smoking, talking, giving the girls who were shoving dirty looks, stuff like that. There's a big bus right there that leaves and some people thought the guys were on it. Obviously, not the true stalkers because the bus wasn't even GREEN, and had no trailer. Pfft. So my friend has to go to the bathroom so we start to head back in. Klly gets a death grip on my arm and tells me to call her if I see anything going on, if I know what she means. And I know what she means. So we go back in and sure enough, there are the guys. So I whip my phone out of my pocket to call Klly, who doesn't answer. I'm all WTF? But it turns out that she saw my number pop up and dropped everything to haul ass back into the Viper. Good girl! SO, D and I head right over to Marty. He sees D and just freaks out that she came to the show. He gives her big hugs, and immediately starts talking about me. He's SO obsessed with me. I tell him we'll chat later, no really Marty, NOT NOW, that D wants a pic with him. So I take a couple of pics of them and then D takes one of me with him. He thanks us for coming and I told him that it was a great show and that I would see them next week in Chicago. He asked if we were coming to the Virgin Megastore thing (really, I'm going to have to tell him to back off a little. The desperation is not becoming) and we said yes, of course we'd be there. I forgot to get Marty to sign anything because I'm a big stupid idiot. We head over to Billy who is just sweet as pie. I told him how much I liked the show and that he rocks and all that. I asked him how they were doing on the road and he said it was really rough but they were having a great time. I asked him to sign my Viper Room tee and had my silver sharpie ready. Yay me! He, too, chatted with D and was excited that she had come. Next was Dino. I don't know why, but I am the most tongue-tied around him. He just gives me that look like I am such a moron, and then of course, this causes me to say moronic things, and then he looks at me like I'm a moron, and so on. He chatted with D for a long time. Signed my tee. I want to reiterate how good-looking he is in person. I don't really remember if I got to say anything non-moronic to him. Chances are slim. Then Bobby. I talked to him for a few, told him too that I would see him next week in Chicago. I think he was pretty impressed by that, and I am guessing that is because he doesn't remember that I live in Chicago. Men. He signed my shirt, chatted with D, signed her stuff, etc. Words cannot describe the beautifulness that is Bobby. I'm sorry. He is the finest man I have ever seen in my life. So we are all bummed because we got everyone to sign stuff but Marty, again because we are stupid. Marty is long gone. D has to go to the bathroom (remember this was the reason we came back IN to the Viper so she really has to go at this point. Poor girl.) So I am waiting for her and they are trying to kick everyone out. She comes out and there is MARTY. Yay! He signs D's stuff and I ask him to sign my shirt. He says, "I need your back." So I have to…ahem…bend over for him and he signs the shirt on my back. Well, he is PRESSING. UP. AGAINST. ME. A lot. Thud. He laughs and says, "This is quite the compromising position." and I am just praying that he has recently changed his legal name to "Marty the Rock God to End All Rock Gods That's Right You Idiots with INXS Wouldn't Know Rock Star if It Bit You on the Ass Casey" just so it would take longer. But I said, "I don't mind...you can buy me dinner later." He laughed again. Gave D a big hug. Then gave me a big hug (breathe...smells so nice...he's so warm...strong firm hug....sigh…Bobby who?) and we had to go. I had the best time. Hammers rock. Holy cow is that long. Sorry!

I also attended the Viper show with my husband. It was incredible! But before that, we met up with other hammerheads at the Rainbow Room, got to meet some really nice people from this board and LH.com,had a great time then we headed towards the Viper the place was very small. Great I thought! I'll be even closer to them. I was able to make my way to the front of the stage and this really nasty girl next to me tried to get me to move out of there and kept pushing me and others and asking me to leave.TOO BAD!!!! I didn't go anywhere. so I was able to see them up close and even touched Marty's leg! a little bit later he came close again and held my hand OMG! I was in Heaven! After the show I was able to get my picture taken with the boys except Marty.booo He had left the building later came back but it was too late. Then we met Suzie McNiel and took a picture with her. She's really nice. Now, I'd like post some of my pictures here but I don't know how to go about it. Can someone help me? thanks

Pom-Poms and Tootsie Pops (personal memories and color tidbits)
I too was at the Viper Room. Got to meet Rockbeast and Jodieca which was delightful. I have been sick so didn't know about the RB dinner - would have loved to meet more of you.
I brought a friend (Michael) with me who had never been exposed to the LH craze. Living here in LA, we got there about 9:00PM. Not too crazy. First band - pretty good. Had a drink then went out and walked the Strip. Came back in and 2nd band on - not as good as first band but still OKAY. The place was filled up and the bouncer SWORE to me that everyone had to come out at 11:30 PM and then go back in. Michael and I went outside for a breath of the fresh and decided to hang out instead of going in and coming out again. So we hung outside and the band roadies showed up with all the LH equipment. So I made it a point to give each instrument case a loving pat because why not?
Finally Michael and I realized ain't nobody coming out so we went back in. It was a tight squeeze - I felt like a sweater in one of those vacuum sealed bags.
Behind us there was a black hole somewhere that kept sucking people in and spitting them back out but Michael and I couldn't find it. Apparently we didn't know the magic words.
We ended up by the door, next to the side of the stage, by the amps - Oh why, Oh why did we ever leave?
Then the doors opens and in come Dino, Billy and Bobby. They had to go right by me and Bobby gave me a big smile. I was going to smile back but I felt DG take over my body so I let her smile back at Bobby for herself.
Once back in my own body, I felt something odd. This little man with a tellatubby body was pressed up against my backside so hard I felt I had a pillow attached to my ass. He was chatting away with a friend and waving his saliva glistening Tootsie Pop around the vicinity of my hair. I managed to feint off this candy attack and then the stage door opened again.
IT WAS MARTY. He was definitely psyching himself up for the show. He came in, shoulders hunched, shaking his fingers out with a very intense look on his face with sunglasses at night. Way cool.
He jumped up on the stage and this girl grabbed his ass. I thought "How cheeky" but apparently this is not Marty's review of the situation because he walked back over and gave her a kiss. Now I know.
There was some fumbling behind the curtain and then POW SHAZAM-it is the LOVEHAMMERS. They rocked the joint. Unbelievable. Then Marty turned and looked at me. Just at me. It was a double whammy. The look was burning and we swapped souls for one second and I was left reeling. Fainting was out as there was no room to fall. I turned to Michael and he's looking at me, mouth agape and a look of pure wonder on his face.
During the show Marty said he wanted to look each and every one of us in the eyes so that we would know how much the LH's appreciated us being there. He was going to focus on each and every one of us. I asked Michael later if he felt the focus and he said "My God, I couldn't believe it. He looked at me and it was like electricity. What intense eyes he has". Well, the better to see you with.
Jeremy came over when the LHS were asking for beer and then he kept me entertained with tidbits about previous shows. I wasn't sure who he was at the time but a sweet kid.
At one point, I caught a peripheral glimpse of something and I turned to my friend. There were pom poms dancing over his head. I thought pretty cool way to get Marty's attention. Then Michael shifted and the fan was completely dressed head to toe in full cheerleader regalia. Ahhhh, Hollywood.
There were panties, roses, propositions and clothes flying everywhere. It was hot, HOT in the Viper Room and Marty ended up barechested on stage. He and the band were incredible. Bobby is totally delicious, Dino's a handsome devil and Billy's cool. It was outstanding to see them perform live.
The song set was superb and it was a sing-a-long which please the guys to no end.
Then the guys jumped off the stage and ran out the door. Then they popped back in the door and back on stage. Marty was standing in front of me with the security guard protecting him from the crush. Since by now, the guard, Jeremy, the bouncer and I are sworn blood hammers, I reached over the security guard's arm and laid my hand on Marty's arm. He looked at me and I yelled, "Have to". He grinned and then turning to the stage, started asking "Where's the mike?" Found it, jumped back on stage for the final song.
Regrets - I have a few. Didn't know the guys were back in the club so missed that. Sorry I didn't get to meet more McOrgs. Had a tie for Bobby to sign for DG but couldn't get to him. Next time.
If anyone wants to know what Marty's butt looks like, ask me. I saw a lot of it on a Friday night in a steamy hot venue in the city of Angels.
Michael is now a Hammerhead.

Flew into LA Friday afternoon- hit the Viper alone... or so I thought! It was amazing to meet so many fans in one spot!
No time had I arrived and made friends with fans from all over the country.
Next thing I know I am at the front of the stage and the side enterance opens... in walks Billy! What a great guy! Next is Bobby- he enters "This place is PACKED!" Bobby yells. Dino comes in takes a deep breath and crawls under the curtain. I raise the curtain and ask Billy "So Marty coming or what?" Billy smiles "Yeah, he'll be coming." Turn around and Marty enters wearing dark shades, black jacket, pinstripes, and the everpresent black Converse. "Hard day?" I ask. Marty smiles.....
The night was definetely one I will never forget. We can all look back years from now and say "We knew them when...."

Beautiful ND! Don't forget who took you're awesome Marty pic! We were so lucky to be in the right place at the right time!
