Part I: DINO HAS HIS BASS BACK
The morning started off slow, as I had expected it to. I knew planning anything for this weekend would be fruitless, so we just went with the flow and had one objective in my mind, and that was getting Dino’s bass back to him. So, I loaded the Bass in the Jeep, brought my money, the kids, and headed for Memphis. No make-up, no change of clothes (we were only staying one night), not a care in the world, yeah right! Dino’s bass was in the Jeep and I had to give it back to him!
I wanted so many things to go perfect for this time. It wasn’t about any presentation to Dino, it wasn’t about me, and it wasn’t about anything but what we all had already done for Dino. We had got his Bass back for him. And it was my job to give it to him. Nothing that I had imagined went the way it was suppose to, and I’m thinking that was for the best in the long run of things, but still. I had so many things I wanted to tell him, and didn’t, couldn’t, wouldn’t, it was just about him getting back something that we had worked very hard in obtaining, and going with the flow of the evening, which turned into total chaos very quickly.
The trip to Memphis went smooth, no flat tires, no Bass flying out the window, no getting sick, very different from my last Lovehammers concert, which will remain the best because of everything that I had to go through just to get there. Met up with My Doc, which in my honest opinion, was better than seeing Dino 5 times. This lady has been there for me through the roughest parts of my life, she pulled me through all the tears of bad news, laughs with the good news, and strength to handle everything in-between news. She was more than just a friend I was meeting. All my family here at MC.org has played that part in my life that is priceless and very much appreciated. It still amazes me the amount of honest to God good people, honest, caring, full of heart, full of love and compassion fans that have come together for each and everyone of us because of this awesome band the Lovehammers and their magic they call Rock N Roll. It was like meeting my long lost sister for the first time, and yes, I cried. Not much, because she wouldn’t let me, but it was a moment that I will hold in my heart forever. There’s My Doc in the parking lot looking for me, cause of course I was lost –oh hello, no one EVER give me directions and expect me to follow them- and my evening started the best way possible, meeting My Doc. Just seeing her gave me this strength inside that I hadn’t felt in years, pure happiness.
We get up to her room and I meet another amazing and the sweetest person ever. ~*SHR*~ is a person that should be giving herself to the whole world, just so it can be a better place for all to live in. Her laugh is contagious, and her presence is one that will leave a mark on anyone ever meeting this fabulous lady. Of course, I had no make-up on and looking like God knows what, so My Doc made me look all girly girl, and presentable for Dino. I really would of skeered him off if My Doc lady hadn’t fixed me up properly. Oh, then Hootiowl, I hope I’m getting that name right, and her little Hammerkiddie came up to the room, can’t use real names, so oh my. They were the cutest ever! Love the accent! Fell in love with them the moment I saw them. Then we all took turns playing with Dino’s Bass. Daniel does the “Both” pose for the camera, Natasha gets the wind blown look for the picture. ~*SHR*~, My Doc, and I all took pictures playing with the Bass. I was of course was the only one skeered of holding it, or harming it in anyway, and just held it for the picture. Then we put it back quickly where it needed to stay for the rest of the trip into Dino’s hands. Oh my. Oh, before we left, I got the pleasure of meeting our Rockbeast. He was downstairs waiting for the caravan to pull out and had these awesome presents for me sent via Angelshadow. Love the chocolates, and thanks hun. Oh, and thanks for the big hug Rockbeast, it was awesome to finally meet you too.
The traffic was horrible and the people were there! Parking became the nightmare in Memphis. Here I am in wheelchair, holding the Bass, 2 kids, and trying to find a parking place within 10 miles of the Beale Street area, and we couldn’t do it. I was following Hootiowl’s great husband, whom was following ~*SHR*~ and My Doc, and was told at several different spots to move on, or we would get towed. We finally found a spot. We all get out and decide to walk to the South Side gates, that’s where the Lovehammers would be playing. So, I could possibly see the boyz and hand over one said very heavy Bass to one very special Lovehammer. We get there and are told that we can’t even get inside until 5:00 p.m., and it was still too early to wait around. So, back 6 blocks we go, Bass in Tow, Wheelchair wheels rolling, and hungry stomachs all around. Did I forget to mention, with all the girly girl make-up, all the fun, all the fun with the Bass, we hadn’t eaten a thing all day yet! We get back to the place where we are parked out in no man’s land on side streets of Memphis TN, oh my. Hootiowl and her family along with Rockbeast were destined to find Hammer Headquarters, and by the time we had spent wheeling around to the South gate, looking for food, my Natasha got sick from so much walking, the heat, and not eating anything. Plus, I still had to buy my tickets! I thought that the ticket sells would be at each gate, but to our horror, it was only at the “North” gate, and we were parked 6 blocks away on the South gate, a very long way away. So, half way to Hammer Headquarters, Natasha is getting really sick, so we decide to stop. We let the other great people go on, and we were just going to meet up with them later. With less people, we decided the only option we had, was to leave Dino’s Bass in my Jeep, until we found the tickets, and found some food to put in our stomach’s, because by then, everyone was hungry. So, very relunctly, and with My Doc’s constant approval that nothing is going to happen to the Bass, no robber, no fire, no I could of thought of a million things that could of happened to that Bass all alone in my Jeep on a side street that didn’t look to good, um what is the word “ghetto”. My nerves was gone at this point, but My Doc had confidence in locked doors and plus the look of the case that was protecting said precious Bass of Dino’s didn’t look so hot. It really did look all scuffed up and nothing that someone would want to steal anyway! So, My Doc and ~*SHR*~ goes back to get their vehicle, and picks me and the kids up off the streets of Memphis in search of food and better parking near the North gate. Leaving Dino’s Bass in the Jeep 6 blocks from the South gate was about to make me sick, but I made it. Thank God found a spot near the North gate to park, and we go half way to find about 200 stairs to go down to get the tickets, in which ~*SHR*~ and My Doc proudly do for me. Right across the street was also a Crab Shack of sorts, so that became our much needed watering hole.
With service like it was, and the kids taking an hour to decide what they were hungry for, 5 p.m. rolled around really quickly. Here we were, and the Lovehammers started to play at 6 p.m. There was no way possible for us to get back and drive all the way back to where my Jeep was hidden amongst the side streets of Memphis, find another parking spot, and make it in time for the concert. So, we go to the concert empty handed, Dino’s Bass still hopefully safe and secure in my Jeep it seemed a million miles away from where we were at. We weren’t going to miss the concert!...........
Last night was very special for me; I’m talking about Saturday night here. I never thought I would be around to see my daughter going to her Senior Prom. I actually had a tape ready for that evening, but I made it, and this was so special to me. Little things or I guess big times like this, creeps up on a person and when it happens, emotions are for sure to run very high. Oh, she looked like a princess from Heaven, and I was very excited to just be able to be there for her. We get to the park and I’m asked to help chaperone the after party. Natasha of course said yes and here I am with black markies all over my arms from being Lovehammered the night before, going to be one of the chaperones. Of course, I slept none Friday night, who could after we all went through? Last night, I got no sleep either, oh the energy of Prom night and over 100 teenagers, was very contagious indeed. Now, the coffee is wearing off, and I can’t go on anymore. The rest of this most amazing concert and night must have to wait until my brain wakes up! It’s officially going to sleep in 30 minutes.
Love you all.....The story will finish with where were we at?....Oh the concert yes. Goodnight.....

Part II Ok, where was I again? Oh, the Crab Shack watering hole. My kids decided to order crab legs, and it takes forever to just crack one of those babies open, so dinner/lunch was taking forever. Concert was starting very soon, and I wanted front row, or I wasn’t going to see anything via the wheelchair. So, Doc, Shr and I left the kids there to finish eating, and to catch up with us as soon as they were done.
We head to the South Gate entrance and find a million stairs to go down to even get on Beale Street. Doc puts her arms around me, and here we go, we are going to get Lovehammered very soon, stairs wasn’t going to be no problem! We eventually find the AutoZone stage area, and it was HUGE. Along with hundreds of people already there and very much crammed into their spots. I am leaving out bits and pieces of this review for sake of Doc’s review and Shr’s experiences; I would never want to take away from their moments either. Everyone knows My Doc, and when she is on a mission, there’s no stopping this lady, and I was going to front row, no matter who or what stood in our way. So, here we go! Very politely and hoping to not roll over more than 100 toes, I’m pushed to front row, of course on the side where Dino would be playing. There was a nice lady and her husband there, and they were going to allow me to fit in there, but the smoke was going right into my nose, and I wasn’t getting sick this trip! So, I stay back one person, but had a very clear view because they turned sideways for me to see. Great people! Here I am, waiting to see this awesome show, no Bass, no children, nerves on high alert, but I had My Doc there, so all was good in the world!
The concert began, and the kids showed up just in time. I think they figured what side I would be on. Then I remember Ayesa, so I fumbled for my cell phone, and dialed her number just in time for Straight as An Arrow to begin. My St. Charles concert, the handicapped area was literally in the rafters, so this was the first time experiencing the Lovehammers up close and personal. Dino was there in all his glory! Bobby who? Marty who? Billy who? Dino in this hat of all hats, looking all perfect and words are hard to describe how Dino Kourelis looked at that moment. I’m still in awe! Oh, then the magic started, and I felt it in my bones. Yes, I heard Bobby, people in Florida could have heard Bobby pounding away at that moment, and Billy’s magic was just as powerful. But Dino’s every move was mesmerizing and hypnotic, to say the least! The music just flowed so perfectly, the heart beats, the bass, the guitar, then Marty runs out, and the crowd went crazy! I of course was already crazy when Dino entered the stage, but the crowd was really into this show! This band has magic, which flows from them, to the audience so naturally, it’s exciting and fun and magical all in one moment! You feel their power, and their abilities to perform and feel the music is spectacular beyond words here. I have been to hundreds of concerts my whole life, and have never felt magic like the Lovehammers give out so readily! Did I mention this show Rocked! Marty is about the best performer God has ever created, his voice, his abilities to feel the music and to excite the audience is beyond compare! Billy’s sound is one of a kind, and he knows it! You can see it in the way he jams, moves, and plays around on stage- he’s good and he knows it. Thirty minutes into the concert I’m asking Doc where Bobby was! I was just blown away with all Dino, but I did try to soak in everything that the Lovehammers were dishing out, damn my tunnel vision! Bobby didn’t stop moving, that man is an awesome performer, and will be in the history books one day! Dino had a blast up there, dancing around, feeling the music, making the music, enjoying life. He’s such a strong presence and magnetic performer, that he is already in some history books; they are just not spelling his name correctly! When he let go of the neck of his Bass from time to time, and shook out his hand, oh my stomach knotted up, and I could almost feel his pain. He didn’t give up at all, and went right back to dancing, moving, all Rock N Roll, such a strong come back for Dino! I have no idea what the set list is, but I think a couple of other folks have posted that, so that’s great news. When they started “The Clinic”, I about fainted. I couldn’t believe I was hearing this song LIVE. Doc held on to me, and I about cried through the song! Was awesome! More awesome, is that My Doc was standing right next to me the whole time and we were having the time of our lives and listening to the best concert EVER. I think every concert the Lovehammers play is the “best”, that’s the magic about this band in simple terms, pure Rock N Roll at its grass root foundations of music! There wasn’t a face there that didn’t have the biggest grin on it, after the concert was over. Pure magic it was! Of course, there were “parts” I didn’t see due to my tunnel vision, but that’s for others to tell their experiences of the “view”. My view was obvious! Marty announced that they had been given another five minutes on stage, so they played Eyes Can’t See before finishing off the show. Every song was perfect, every moment was perfect, and every breathe I was taking was even more perfect! Ok, the show Rocked, maybe I should of just said that! Oh my.
We waited around after the people started to file out, and then followed suit out of that area. All I had with me was my bag that had one Chutes and Lovehammers game in it, that My BG made me, and one quilt that My Shy had made me. I wanted both signed by the boyz, and that was portable. But, the Bass was still in the Jeep 10 city blocks from where we were at. We head out of the AutoZone area on this magical high of just experiencing one of the best bands in the world play their magic! The only thing I was thinking of was……..What street did I park on? I FORGOT.
Ok, I’ll finish the rest this evening, I have appointment to get to this afternoon, and I’ll be on tonight to finish this up. Thanks for everyone understanding about this weekend with Memphis and Prom night, you all are very understanding and compassionate folks. The rest is about done, so it shouldn’t take me long! Love ya all…..Nancy…..

Part III
The End of Review from me and the kid’s point of view!
Forgetting things, this is quite normal for me, but not for Natasha or Daniel! We all walk over to the side of the stage area, to chat and absorb the magic that was still flowing through us. All of a sudden, this cute little lady pops in front of me and yells “Nancy”, I look, and then she yells “Your Monster”. Well, that makes sense now! I grab onto her little neck and just hugged away! What a treat to finally meet more friends, especially My Monster girl! I didn’t want to let go, but I thought it was best since she is so tiny and all, I might of hurt her! Then she introduces me to her sister in law, and we talk for awhile. I know I met so many other great people, cause I know my neck got hugged allot, I just literally forget way to easy as of late, but everyone was adorable, kind, and just got the experience of a life time listening to this phenomenal band!
Natasha was very excited, and running around everywhere, talking with people, and introducing herself. Daniel stuck by me and I was keeping my eyes on My Doc, so as to not get lost here. The momentum was exhilarating and contagious! Natasha starts to yell that Marty is by the back of the fence, still inside the fence that is. I knew that Dino would at least be coming back out of the fence area soon enough, but I wasn’t for sure about the rest of the boyz. They all did eventually come out, but at first, it was like they stayed back behind the fence for awhile. I yell for My Monster (nlt) to come on, I think I was racing her to the fence area, and I think I won. Well, ok, she did help push me up the little hill area; My Monster is a strong little one! Gotta love the Monsters of the world!
Throngs of people crowded around the fence, probably a good idea to stay back there at first, oh my. A reporter from the Memphis newspaper said that he has never seen fans like this, and a band that interacts with the fans like the Lovehammers were doing. He asked Natasha’s name and where she was from, and she told him. She also added that she was with a friend from California that came just to see the Lovehammers too, and he was shocked! I wanted Bobby and Billy to sign my quilt and my game that I brought with me, and I wasn’t for sure if they were going to come out and play. So, I tell Natasha to get the game. This game is Chutes and Lovehammers. My friend BG sends it to me to cheer me up; I had just got out of the hospital that week, and was feeling pretty rough. I got all kinds of presents and gifts that just did that, cheer me up, made me strong, and made me fight through all the uncomfort and pain I was going through. So, I take the game, and hand it over the fence to Bobby. He gets it, and starts to laugh so hard that I thought he was going to drop the game! Dino sees it, and laughs out loud, like what’s this, so cool, who did this, we have a game now! They all sign it, except Marty and send it back over. Then I send the quilt over, the one that My Shy made me with Dino’s pictures all over it, I wanted it to be signed by all the boyz too. Dino signs it first of course, and then he says the others should sign this as well, all except Marty, he was way down on the side of the fence. So, I get my quilt back. I sit back down; because I was starting to get overwhelmed with people all crowding the fence, and the kids getting in up there too.
Natasha begins to yell at Bobby, I’m like what are you doing ding dong! Don’t yell at a Lovehammer! Especially the biggest one there is! He wasn’t wearing the necklace that she had given him in St. Charles, and he had promised to always take it with him to concerts! She says “You promised me Bobby!” His eyes got all big, and he told Natasha that even though he wasn’t wearing it, he had it with him. Bobby takes off and leaves all the fans, and runs to the dressing room. Natasha is just standing there with her hands on her hips and I’m like Oh my God, what have I created? So, Natasha pulls a number and walks off to go look at Marty or something, but she wasn’t around when Bobby got back from the dressing room!
I had to quickly ask Dino where he wanted me to give him the Bass back at. He asked, “Where’s the Bass at?” I said, “I don’t know! It’s in my Jeep and I forgot where I parked!” Oh my. He tells me to just keep it, it’s mine, since it’s in my Jeep and all, and I’m like oh no you don’t Dino, I’ll get it, just tell me where your going to be. He said he’d be out in a little while. So, I’m like fighting a great wave of anxiety here, trying to find someone that will find my Jeep for me, or go with Natasha to get it out! Rockbeast was there and pointed the way, the vicinity of where we parked 10 blocks away at! Another great Hammerhead volunteered to go with Natasha to get the Bass, but where was Natasha?
I figure out where Natasha had been! She’s stalking the Marty Man. He’s done jumped this 10 foot high fence to get closer to his fans, and of course, Natasha was right there! Since she knew that Marty hadn’t signed the Chutes and Lovehammers game, she came over and snatched it right up, and marched her butt over to Marty Casey. I didn’t see this, only what she has told me. I think My Monster witnessed this kiss! She said that she showed him the game, and he was overwhelmed that “SHE” had made that game for the Lovehammers. LMAO. He was going on and on, about the details of the game, and how much time it must of taken her, and how just so awesome this was! He was really into this game! She was going right on with him, saying yes, see this part, and this part, and this part, isn’t this part cute too, she was enjoying this time. Marty grabs Natasha by the waste, and plants a huge kiss on her lips for making this most awesome game of Chutes and Lovehammers! She starts to laugh her ass off, and he asked what was so funny? I’m thinking any guy that just kisses a girl, and then gets laughed at, must feel kind of weird and all. Natasha then tells Marty, “I didn’t make it!!!!!!!!!!” And runs off away towards where we were standing talking with Bobby. On her way over, two other Hammerheads asked her if she was Natasha? She said yes, and Bobby had sent signatures with two fans saying “Where R U Tash?” on it, and Natasha got to keep those signatures, one was on her ticket that got her into the Beale Street Festival. Well, she stomps her way over to where Bobby is now standing, outside the fence, and just looks at him with this look of hers. If anyone has a teenager, they will know this look, little squinty eyes, and mouth all puckered up, like I’m mad, and you better make me happy really soon, or I’ll slam a door somewhere! Then Bobby pulls this necklace out of his pocket and jiggles it out in front of Tash’s face, and says, see, I have it still! Natasha quickly makes up with Bobby, and they get their picture taken together, oh my. There’s allot of chatting and allot of fans and really good people getting their time here, so I just stood back and enjoyed watching everyone!
I see that Dino is not out yet, so I meandered over to where Marty was. I watched for a bit, and allot of fans was getting their very special times with this most awesome lead singer! Then, out of the blue, Natasha pops up behind me and starts to laugh again. Marty looks, and says, “It’s you again!” So, I start to talk to him for a bit, I say I’m Nancy, and he says you’re the one that got Dino’s Bass back, that’s so awesome! I’m like yeah, but it was really all the fans of Dino’s that did it, if it were not for them, this wouldn’t have happened. I tell him that I’m suppose to give him a kiss from a friend named Penny, FROM CHICAGO, but I’m waiting to give all my kisses to Dino! He looks up and you know how he gets right into your space, and just looks into you! Well, I had no problem with Marty’s look; I was just waiting to see My Dino and all! His eyes gets all big like, he says, “Where is Penny- from Chicago- at?” I say, “Marty, you wore her out DJ’ing the other night, and she wasn’t able to make Memphis honey!” He starts to laugh real big like, I love it when people can laugh out loud so easily! He says, “I wore HER out, I’m out here performing my ass off, and I WORE her out DJ’ing!” More laughing going on here. So, he grabs my cheeks and plants a big one on my forehead. Marty says, “Send that one to Penny from Chicago”. Then Natasha pipes up and says she wants another kiss too, she wants to make it 3 for the night! Oh my, I’m thinking, not again. He looks at her all funny, and asks, “When was the first one at?” She says she has proof of it too. So, Daniel hands Natasha the quilt that My Shy made me, and it of course had the picture of Natasha getting “smooched” through the fence at the St. Charles concert. Marty just looks up at Natasha with that one eyebrow thing going on, like your caught kid! He takes his sharpie thing, and asked Natasha where she wanted him to sign it, “Because I’m not going to mess this one up.” He looks around at the pictures, and finds the one with him and Dino in it. It’s the owowowowo picture for all that knows that one! Marty says, “This naked one is good, I’ll just sign here.” Natasha says, yes, the naked one IS good, and he looks back at her with that eyebrow thing still going on, I could never get my eyebrows to move like that! And then, she just says, “Well Marty, when do I get another one.” Bless Marty’s heart; he’s so loyal to even the bossy of bossy fans. He reaches down, and kisses her again ON THE LIPS. Ask and ye shall receive! Natasha was having a blast! Then Marty turns and gives another special time and moment to other special fans that were all around him.
Then someone, I don’t know who, tells me Dino is out now too. I’m like oh shit, how am I going to get this Bass back to him. I go over to where My Dino is at. He says he’s not staying long, Buckcherry was getting ready to play, and he wanted to watch them. So, Natasha and this great lady, I forget her name every time and I have met her two times! She’s Poet’s friend! They head out to get the Bass and Dino said he’d wait for her. Dino is getting allot of fans autographs and pictures taken, so I just sit back and listen to the conversations, add to them occasionally, and loving the fact that I’m this close to THE DINO KOURELIS, and I haven’t fainted yet! I’m accomplishing something huge so far I’m thinking! He kept on saying I should keep it, since it’s in the Jeep, and there was just no time to sit and explain why it was there, and why we didn’t bring it with us from the beginning! I told him not to argue with me, he’s getting it back, I’d win the argument anyway, his eyes gets all big, and nothing else was said on that matter!
Then Bobby was out, so I wheeled over there, did I leave Dino? What was I thinking? Must have been a momentary lack of brain cells functioning or something, I don’t know. The only thing he had to sign autographs with was a black Markey, and he grabbed up my shirt sleeve and started to write on it. I looked up, and said Bobby, this ain’t working sweetheart! I’m leaving out allot and allot of parts that pertain to My Doc, I’m not telling all here folks, sorry! My shirt is black, so this wasn’t working. So, he grabs my arm and says, this’ll work just fine! He sees my bracelet that Dino gave me, looks up and gives me this God warming wink and smile, and starts to write f**k Cancer, Never Say Die all over my arm! Then right above it he draws a little drum set with drum sticks on top. Very creative I thought! Then I realize quickly that I left Dino, and my brain cells popped back into play really quick, and I left Bobby out side talking with everyone else that was there! Daniel stuck around where Bobby was, and kept on calling him Dino. Bobby said that was ok, their Mom gets them mixed up all the time too. Then I think Daniel snagged My Doc’s camera, and took some, lets say, “interesting” pictures of the boyz. Bobby called him a little paparazzi. Daniel was having a blast too, not as much as Natasha, but still he was having fun, hanging out with Rock Stars and all! Bobby did sign the back of Daniel’s shirt too, that was cool, Daniel said.
Then the lady that went with Natasha comes back up the area that was behind the stage. I’m like where is Natasha? She explains, that since Bobby had autographed her ticket, the one that says, Where R U Tash, she didn’t want the ticket to be torn, and the ticket being torn was the only way for re-entry into the park! Well, Dino was hearing this as well, and suggested taking a drink! So, we drank. And the lady had to leave Natasha and return her autographed ticket to me. So, here is my daughter walking all alone on the streets of Memphis, looking for the Jeep that she has NO idea even what street name we were on, dressed the way she was! She had on a little red mini-skirt, with a white Dino’s Thang shirt, another present from my Friend BG in Florida, and was expected to carry a 40 pound Bass all the way back by herself! I was nervous as hell. And so was everyone else. T-Bone pipes in with the thought that my daughter is sexy as hell, and I’m thinking dude, that’s not what I want to hear right now! Oh my. He tells me that Dan is getting ready to leave with the equipment inside, and Dino tells him to go and find Natasha, walking somewhere on the South Side of Memphis. Oh my stomach at this point is swarming with nerves and anticipation of everything going ok. T-Bone takes my cell phone, because Natasha doesn’t know a Dan or a T-Bone, so she would doubtfully get in a van with them, but at this point I wasn’t for sure on anything! But, T-Bone brings me back the phone, because if they don’t find her, they are not coming back, and I would be without said cell phone. Yes, I’m still breathing at this point, not well, but breathing I was doing! Dino decided to use his Markey then all over my left arm, and let’s just say his drawing is MUCH BETTER than his brother’s Bobby’s was. He draws this huge character picture, saying “Dino’s comeback” all over my arm. I told him one hell of a come back too. We visited for about 30 minutes or more, and still no Natasha. Dan calls and reports that he hasn’t found Natasha. Thirty minutes with Dino was NOT enough, could have chatted for hours upon hours. He attempts to calm my nerves by saying, “She’s had plenty of time by now to get the Bass, and if anything happens, she could always hit someone over the head with it”. I’m thinking, oh my, not the Bass! After 45 minutes or so has passed, and no word on Natasha, Daniel wanders over to where me and My Dino was at. Daniel starts to ask some really weird questions, like what’s your favorite band, your favorite this and that, I’m thinking paparazzi now. Then he says Mom, I thought you wanted to know a few things too. Like what does La Mancha mean? Ok, so Dino told me what that meant. Then Dino hears that Buckcherry is starting to play, no Bass yet, and he wants to run off. He says we’ll catch back up later, and that T-bone will take care of everything. I get my kiss on the cheek and my hug, and he’s off with one final question of Daniel’s. Daniel asked him what cologne he wears, Dino says it smells like farts, and he let one go right next to Daniel, and runs off to watch Buckcherry! I was thrilled to get that hug, kiss on the cheek, conversations and have Dino fart on my son! Was great! There were allot of other moments in our conversations that was really funny and awesome to experience, like when he started to argue with My Doc! I think Dino won that argument, but I’m not for sure! Let’s just say drinking Southern Comfort at a Rock Concert is just fine with Dino! And me!
So, Dino’s off to catch the other concert, and I’m feeling a void, because now my daughter still has NOT returned with this precious Bass as of yet, and I’m lost. So, I find My Doc girly girl, and stay and visit with her and Bobby some more! Pictures were being taken everywhere. I fumbled for my cell phone again, press My DG’s number, and gave the phone to Bobby to say hello. After a few minutes, he looks and says “No one is there.” So, I take the phone back and chat for a bit more. Bobby is then off in the direction of the next concert.
Still, no Natasha around, and it’s getting dark really quick in Memphis. We stay around and chat with allot of friends, and more Southern Comfort was consumed, without My Doc’s knowledge at that time! Billy finally comes out of the fenced in area with a plate full of funnel cake! I’m thinking Marty is still down on the other side with all his fans, but I decided I wanted to see Billy and find out what Daniel was up too. I hear My Monster yell Billy, and look over and there she was standing right next to the guy, and I’m thinking, why she is yelling “BILLY”, when she’s 2 feet away from him. Bless My Monster; she was so funny that night! Everyone is getting their pictures taken, and he just has this greatest smile on, Billy really is such a sweetheart. You can also tell exactly where he lives, with that “Chicaaago accent” going on. He’s looks at me and my poor arms, and he says, I can do one better! So, he grabs my right arm, but Billy has a silver sharpie going, and draws this skull man with a top hat under what Bobby had wrote and drawn. Bobby’s little drum set was starting to look really small at this point! And then Billy flops on my lap in the wheelchair, and gives me a big hug! I’m thinking there was a picture taken, but I’m not for sure! We were having fun, but in the back of mind, ok, the front of my mind was my daughters safety, and the million and one things that could be going wrong at this moment, and there’s nothing I could do about it! Daniel then starts to ask his paparazzi questions, and asked Billy how he learned to play the guitar so good. Billy says he taught himself a majority of it, and Daniel was cool with that I guess.
Five or so minutes after visiting with Billy, here comes Natasha, sweat just pouring from her face, her hair is all wet from sweating so much, and Dino’s bass balanced on her shoulders! God Bless Her Little Heart, SHE DID IT. With a huge smile on her face too. She said that was the biggest work out she had for years, and she’s only 17, I’m thinking Oh my. I do believe a picture was taken when she finally came up with the Bass. This was a huge thing she did for Dino, for me, for My Doc, for all the fans, walking all alone, knowing that was scary also, finding our Jeep, and then carrying that Bass back 10 blocks and into the park area by herself. She is a very strong hearted little lady, and I’m proud of her, and most everything she does! When she sets out to do something, she does it! I wonder where she got that trait from.
So, we have my daughter back, but no Lovehammers! They had all disappeared into the mass of hundreds of concerts goers! I should have just sent Natasha to look for them; cause if there’s one person in this world that could find a Lovehammer, Natasha was the one for the job. But, she was pooped. Oh, talking about POOP. I almost forgot to mention what my darling son said to Mr. Marty Casey. Daniel full of questions night this was becoming! Daniel is asking Marty, “Yo, dude, what WERE you thinking climbing that high up”. Marty says, “The only thing I can think of any time is don’t fall, don’t fall, don’t fall, and don’t fall.” Daniel starts to laugh and says “Marty, I’d be thinking don’t poop, don’t poop, don’t poop, don’t poop.” Marty just starts to laugh out loud again, rubs Daniel’s head and says, “Little Dude, that’s exactly what I’ll think of next time!” But, Natasha was too exhausted to walk anymore, so we wait around like a few more minutes, and then Mr. T-Bone pops out to save the day! We go over to where he was at, and deliver the all precious Bass of Dino’s into T-Bone’s hands! He reassures us all that it will go into the dressing room, and Dino will get it back! What a relief! The presentation didn’t go as planned, all the things I wanted to say to Dino about this Bass didn’t happen as planned, but they did get said, just not at the time of giving him his Bass back! All worked out in the ending, for the best of all that helped, especially My Doc. If it were not for My Doc there continually with me throughout this expedition, we wouldn’t have made it at all! I have left allot of fun out with My Doc, cause that’s for her to tell in her famous review! This review was special because of all the contributors and great fans out there that helped get this Bass back for Dino. Oh yes, Dino did get a call later on in the evening to confirm from T-Bone that the Bass was safe! So, I know that this ending is mostly about Natasha and Daniel’s experiences with the boyz, but they were funny, and definitely I thought worth telling with the Bass Project here! Me and My Doc are getting together tonight some time to talk about the rest of it! In the asylum!
The rest of the night is mine! I can’t let those parts go public! We enjoyed ourselves completely and thoroughly, and have plenty of memories with Dino, Bobby, Billy, and Marty to last until, the NEXT CONCERT!!!!! THE END………..
