Hi everyone, the concert was great, the lovehammers were the best in my opinion, but I left before the last two bands played and missed INXS again, we were hot and tired after rocking out to lovehammers and tracking them down to talk to them and then waiting in a long line to get autographs, all I want are pictures and hugs, so that is a bummer, I did talk to them through the fence, Marty was in his trailer and I saw him and waved to him and he came out to talk to me and my kids, wasn't that sweet of him, also talked to Dino, showed me the finger I took the picture you see, and talked to Billy too. I am glad I this little one on one time with them, the signing autograph in line things is a drag, I want to hug them and talk to them, my 10 year old daughter gave him her school picture with some things written on the back about how much we love him and he asked her to sign it and said he would keep it in the tour bus, so I did get a quick shot of that as you all see. I don't think any other band was doing any meet and greets, the lovehammers are one of a kind, great guys that really can rock, they were awesome during their set, even played this town, which is my daughters fave. I feel so sad it is over now, my neice was up on the rail for all the bands, I had to drive back to get her when it was all over, she said JD hurt is knee and was in pain, when I went back for her I saw Dino around talking to some girls inside the fenced area, we yelled his name but he was busy. My neice did get bobby to come over before I got there, and he came over and gave her a hug, she told him to slip through the two gates and he did, she got a picture of him and her, she won't let me post it, the brat. I saw Jen standing next to me during the lovehammer set, I saw rockbeast took his picture, I saw rockdiva girl, she was so sweet and gave me a hug. she had others with her sorry I forgot the names now. It is so sad to leave a lovehammer concert when you know they are still there hanging out, but thats life! now its back to normal every day stuff. the DJ there said that marty and the guys were some of the nicest guys they have ever met, that was so nice to hear.
I am so beat, I am really getting old, this all day event was to much for this lady. so happy to see the guys and glad they played early. talk to you all later.

I just got home from the Best weekend I have EVER HAD!! Thank you to all the hammerheads who made me feel at home In Sac. I Wish I could have stayed for another beautiful day! After I sleep I will tell some details for you all to enjoy!

A very Special Thank you to Rockbeast I am so glad we are friends again and that we made the trip together! It was such a Blast hanging out with you and disturbing our neighbors in the hotel rooms next to us with our Rock music as soon as we would get back to the room!! Haha!! Love ya Bro!

Ok ok, I will give a small detail or two.. I got Billy to Sign my pack of smokes WOO HOO no more Ciggys for Angelshadow!! (my idea not his) and He is lookin real good and I told him so adding... Have you been eating healthy again To which he replied YES (with the biggest grin on his face!) (he ate sushi in the trailer after thier set)

I am finally home....

I just wanted to give everyone a little re-cap of the show from my perspective...
It has been 3 months since a LH show so needless to say I was more than due and more than excited to finally get to see the guys again.
I drove up with 3 other hammerchickies, they met me at my house and from Hollywood we drove to Sacramanto...took ua 7 hous total and it wasn;t bad at all. We met up w/ RDG and we azll stayed in the same 2 bed hotel room....look we fangirls will do what we have to to keep costs down...ha ha.
We all went out Sat night and met up w/ a lot of fellow hammerchick and dudes, the spot we went to was a dive to say the least and after a few instances of sexual harrassment from the staff there (and he wasn't even cute ha ha) some of us headed over to another place, which was only a little better...we decided to head over to a gay bar we heard of...and the area was hopping...and really cute...we ended up staying there the rest of the night. All together there were about12 of us, drinking taking "fabulous" pics and jut getting ready for a great night.

We woke up really early Sunday so we could get to the show and get in line (we were determined to get in the front row) (center between marty and dino....for RDG and I anyway) We head up and Polarfan and I park the car all the way in BFE while RDG, 4R and CJ go to get in line....when Polar and I finally walk the 6.7 miles back to the line we see that our girls are only a few people back in line...and we are wondering HOW?? A felloe hammer chick allowed them to "cut" in line w/ her.....thanks so much....we stood there and talked to INXS fans and just passed the time...when they finally let us in at 12:30 we were running to the front....it was almost chaotic in that our whole group ended up all spread out...all of us trying to get as close as possible. 4R, Doc and I ended up right beind these two very nice ladies (so we were only 1 back),,,,but they were INXS fans so said that as long as they could have their spot back after LH went on we could have the front. So they went back to their blanket on the lawn and there we were in the VERY front smack dab in the middle, a little to the left towards Dino...EXACTLY where I wanted to be. YEA....2 really great band (7Standard and Norwall went one befor LH...they were really really good. 7Standard had a really heavy sound at times and was really working for me. Norwall were these really cute hippie ish guys whose keyboard player was so cute...I was flirting w/ him a bit from the crowd and Doc was laughing her ass off at me cuz as she said he must have been 18.......but, what can you do..I deemed him "pink boy" due to his shirt...and we refferred to him as such all day. Finally our guys came on. Opened up w/ SAAA as usual...that song really gets people going...I had several cell certs to do and could not hear what was going on on the other end and my phone only had 1 bar and I had no idea if I had a connection or not...etc...so I kept dissconnecting after only like one song cuz I had so much going on and didn't want to hold up a phone if I didn't even have a connection....sorry if you only got part of a song. Wee anyway...needless to say Marty looked AMAZING (as usual)..and was wearing his white pants (yummy)...dino came out and was looking H*O*T!!!! props to him on that..billy looked amazing, his hair was really big and wild and he had that smile that he has that lights up the place....GENIUS!!! Bobby, well Bobby, I couldn't say,,,I was so pissed off...they had his set was back on stage so us in front couldn't see him (there was one little section between the amps where I could lean over and see his face, but otherwise...I could just jear those stick pounding...and loved it. If you were to pay me a million dollars for the set list I would be SOL...I have no idea, it went by so fast and I was way to psyched. I know one thing though...Marty did his littlt "strip tease" as I like to call it. He dreeses in layers and as the show goes on he takes off more and more and more until he is shirtles...well it was good. ha ha.
During The Tunnel he climbed up on the scaffolding and one at the top (as as he was singing he was thrusting his legs backways go he was swinging on the darn thing and I was freaking out since he was just holding on with one hand... I looked down and saw Dan sitting there, crouched down, looking up, as if he was ready to pounce to catch Marty in case he fell. It was so nerve racking...the crowd was going crazy though. Marty came back down and was doing the little hand "hypnotize" thing I love so much... It was so funny....it was supposed to be like 83 degrees but it felt like it was 100 degrees...we were just wiping ourselves down and trying to make sure our knees were bent so we didnt pass out and have to get passed through the crowd to a paramedic like in footage from whimbley sadium...ha ha. Though that could have been good press for LH.. "LH perform to thousands as exhausted fans collaspe" haha. During I am not sure what song Marty did that "scraping the Mike on the stage" bit he did in Memphis, though it was I think MUCH shrter that then...But I looked at Billy as Marty was doing this and he was looking to Bobby and just laughing. I love this...it has so much angst.....I love it...ha ha ha. Dino sounded amazing and at one point looked down at me and gave me a look like "oh wow...hey it's you"!!!! it was cute. Marty went to the right of the stage was was laying on it and hanging his head over the edge grasping for the crowd....there were so many great moments and it all went past in a blur...I think it was about a 0 minute set...about songs...At one point I heard "Ultrasound" coming on and thay did the begginning of that then took it into This town...that was amazing....Sounded great. The last song was Trees and I was jumping up and down as he sang and Marty caught my eye and just smiled as he sang...probaby think "wow this chic is going crazy" ha ha. There was no encore but the show was quite enough. Afterwards I had to do a bit of street teaming and it was the easiest thing I have ever done...I had brought these 4x6 cards I had printed up for MCLH and I was targeting young guys and chics...they were begging for them, then as the guys were signing autographs at the fence, people were trying to use dollars and papers...anything to get an autograph and I went over and almost got mobbed for the cards...it was genius...The guys finally did a formal M&G at 3:30...I think it must have lasted about and hour and a half...the line was very long...I don't really do autopgraphs but wanted to say hi to the guys so I did the autograph thing...got up to the front where I hear a "hey darlin" coming from dino...chatted for a second about hanging out after the show...etc then moved on, to bobby then marty and I had a short exchange about a memory from vegas and then someone pulled him away and some chic scooted me out of line....there were a lot of people behind me..It was not ideal...but it was a M&G what can you expect. We went to eat and walk around...they guys finished up, watched Switchfoote, then throughout the rest of the day they were signing autographs through the fence to the never ending crowds that always seemed to appear...and we all know marty is always willing to ablige the fans for hours on end...he was signing shoes, t-shirts, postcards, flyers...panties....any and everything. Dino billy and bobby came out and did the same a couple of time...at one point these 2 ,7 year old boys were trying to jump the fence and get to them and the event lady was standing with dino and yelling at them and in true dino form he was encouraging them to jump it and covering up that lady's eyes...it was so funny.

We ended up leaving before the INXS show was over and went home to freshen up...we all went and had dinner and then met up with Dino for some drinks at this ridiculous dive bar, we had a good time though....dino and i can cuss each other out all night long so it was a lot of fun. ha ha. we played some music on the jukebox and played some old Rock and just chatted and laughed...etc. we girls took alot more "faboulous" pics and were having fun eventhough we were the only group in the crappy bar....I want to know where the good bars are in Sac...cuz we never found any (straight ones anyway). Overall it was a great time...and the time with Dino afterwards was alot of fun too (as usual)

I got to see SHR again which is always fun, that girl is crazy in a fantastic way...and I think loves to give me a hard time,,,ha ha.

Anyway...it was an amzing day...and worth the 7 hour drive to, and back home today. would love to do it again...and love seeing all my hammer chicks.

~ a night in The Dive (completely disgusting) ~

Like Kimberly87 already mentioned, the place we were all to meet at suddenly was changed to a complete dive bar; in which everyone believes I picked out. Never even stop in Sac, and live over two hours away. Really, it looked like a nice club in Vegas on their site. More like a run down Senior Frogs in Mexico, minus the panties above on the ceiling. Although; I didn't make it to the after show "dive" party with Dino (kidding) But, thank you for the call AngelShadow. Appreciate it! It was all good! A perfect hang out for Lovehammers - a great place to hide out. You can imagine how pleased I was, when I noticed the handwritten signs on the tables: "Reserved for LASnow", so I kept one (he, he). Everyone was great to meet... then it was time for a drink; Keshet was getting up, since I'm not a huge fan of boxed wine.. I safely ordered a bottled beer. Kes is great! Poor thing showed up there first (guess it was a good thing those signs were on the tables ;-) Yikes! It was wonderful to see Nina99 go against her grain, and toss peanuts on the floor.. Yes, it was that kind of place. And, still thanking me for letting her give Marty a small gift. You are very welcome! Everybody was wonderful to me, and I thank you all for that! Especially; when I realized I had left my credit card at Kinko's earlier in the SF Bay area, and still needed to check-in to my hotel room. AngelShadow & the "infamous Rockbeast" were completely sweet to me. Thanks you guys! And, the hotel accepted a check - ahhh!! If it wasn't for MadameRubi; couldn't have gotten from A to B without you - you know that! Thank you, thank you!! Sorry, I didn't find you & your daughter. But, will see you again soon - I hope. You're a beautiful person!

~ a day in The Zone (completely amazing) ~

The next morning... arrived there with 100 Lovehammers' Promo Packages, and a ton of other LH (red) stuff... Everyone thought I had too much, but I didn't want to hurt any little children by not having enough. It turned out we could have used much more. But, there were lots of promoters with stuff inside: AT&T had fans too. Trevi was nice enough to meet me (find me; as it was a huge place). We managed to carry it all, in a huge red heart basket. People were interested, so we passed them out to the cars passing by. The (one) line went on & on... So, we looked at each other and just went for it "Anyone like a fan?", well after waiting in line in the sun for an hour... Everyone was coming up to us. First, wanting to purchase them. When they found out they were free, and it had anything to do with "Marty, from RockStar:INXS" We didn't have do much more... We were doing such a good job that the DJ from The Zone even gave us his stuff, so I gave him some MC&LH postcards to pass out - it's only fair right ;-) He found it funny! And, did it!! Then, had ten minutes to get back to the car to put the basket away and still keep my place in line. It was a close call. Then, heard "keep calling, keep..." sound check (adding a bit more time to their short set) Keshet made me a beautiful LH bag to carry around, and I needed every inch of it. Thank you so much. Great meeting you & your new hammerhead sister - lol. No, you probably won't be seeing that T-shirt again. You both are awesome! Kes was the first to arrive (again), and had to parked the farthest away, I know, because I drove her 3 miles (so it seemed) to her newly damaged truck. So very sorry Kes!!! ;-(
The highlight was being there when Marty was singing Trees, and the entire crowd started singing along, by the second verse Marty look down & smiled, and placed the mic out in the audience and everyone sang the entire "It will be you & me up in the Trees & the forest.." Being towards the front; I have to say.. I, too most impressed. It was quite loud & clear ;-)
The entire set was short; yet incredible!
A guy from the first band wanted me to watch them, so I did. Thought they were great, so he gave me their CD (winners of Battle of the Bands). Then, asked him to make certain to watch Lovehammers, and he gave me a funny face. So, I told him they were not just all about "Trees", and that I listened when he wanted me to. Again, it was only fair. He found me later (have no idea how) and told me that he thought "LH were awesome," and thanked me. Hooray for Polarfan; as she looked at me and said she had to go start STing afterwards... thank you so very much for doing that. She is so really good at this stuff! After the show, we (I was right behind the rest) went to greet the guys, so Anamitara & I started passing out postcards; like Kimberly87, but we were at the end and happen to find ourselves suddenly trapped against the fence. Then all of a sudden when Marty came near, three girls charged right at us; I mean Marty, pinning us to the temporary fence.. No thank you to you women!!! Most concerned about these two little girls. And, had no idea where Anamitara went?! He was told one more (too bad, but for good reason) He did sign both little girls postcards before leaving. One of them grapped a card out of my hand & started yelling for Marty, but he was out of there. She was so cute, because she wanted me to have one too. I told her I was just thrilled they both had theirs & that we were all safe now. It was crazy, and I guess I now know better than to stand between a fence & Marty Casey ever again! Nice first impression!!
Biggest sorry goes to Trevi, as I promised to take some photos for her... the crowd was massive & the opportunities were slim. My deepest apologizes to you! Well, I'm pooped. And, have a slight burn too; as I was hanging out with Kes. Road trip next Friday? It all paid off; especially today when I was listening to The Zone's DJ Monica Lowe come on the radio, and said it was a great day in The Zone, and she had to admit that MC&LH were her favorite part (he, he). She seemed pretty impressed with all of us Hammerheads too! And, JD apparently used the F word way too many times. We left like so many others... He sure knows how to clear out a place - sorry to say, but it was true in this case. They call him "JD Potty-Mouth." Suppose no one told him it was an all age event. Anyway, that is all I have to share...

I'm posting a couple pics of Marty with our 4 year old granddaughter Leah, who first met "HER Marty" in Lincoln City, OR in January ... We took her to the Day in the Zone and she (with her 8 year old cousin who was holding a sign that said "Junior Hammerhead" - Marty LOVED it!!) sat on her Granpa's shoulders for the whole set holding her sign that said "LEAH LOVES MARTY" over her head ... About 2/3 through their set, a lady waved me over from inside the fenced area where the bands were hanging out, so I went to see what she wanted ... She wanted to invite Leah and her cousin to a MEET & GREET WITH MARTY, DINO, BILLY AND BOBBY after they were done!! We went, they all remembered her, she got her hug from Marty & they talked, we chatted briefly with the guys and IT WAS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!!! I hope to be able to tell them all one day how wonderful it was for our little Leah and her cousin Bea; just indescribable!! Hope you all enjoy the pics!!
