just a quick recap!! I am beat!! rockdivagirl is sound asleep...I even stopped by my office on the way home from LA in an attempt to upload the pics now...alas, it did not work at this time but WOW what an awesome show!!! Here's the song list: The Tunnel Call of Distress (just for Penny) Wish You Were Here Trees This Town all acoustic. Marty was joined by Dave Sabo, aka Snake from Skid Row as well as Jeremy! It was RDG, me, Kimberly87, Polarfan, Virginia, Trevi & her hubby & then a few other ladies that aren't post-ers here as well as friends of Marty's. Very cool place, it was as if we were in someone's garage with couches & a bar. We were in the greenroom with Marty during the interview & we also made sure there was mad props for MartyCasey.org during his interview with Jen! More on her show later! I hope the webcast was great, can't wait to see it! More later, I'm sure you'll get a much more detailed recap from K87 or RDG before me... ok not funny hee hee... nighty night! xo

Ok, just let me say Phenomenal. I cant believe we were privy to that intimate of a show (again!) with Marty 2 feet in front of our faces. Nobody in front of us--Just Marty! And of course he did not disappoint. Jodie did sum it up pretty well here. It was a small place, like being in someone's basement party where bands play. It was small, hot, and good fun.
But then you saw it all live now didnt you? Can I just say I felt Lucky, lucky, lucky to be there in person and that Marty is so worthy of all our attention and support.
And Jodie is the best! Thanks to all involved for allowing me to be there
Modified to add: I hope pics will be coming soon from some of the girls, mine are few and not that great unfortunately but I'll try to get what I have up soon here.

Posted by Virginia Before I start, I just want to thank Music Plus TV for allowing Marty to come & jam in their studio. All the Music Plus people were real sweet and friendly. Thanks Music +.
Alright, now to get back to real deal. Lets see I drove up pretty early in order to avoid traffic and arrived around 3:30. I thought it would be best to leave early vs being caught in traffic and stressing out on the road. Music Plus was pretty easy to find, it was right off the 101 freeway and they had a huge sign in front of their building; Music Plus.com. Since it was way too early, I then decided to hangout at McD’s for a while. By 6 pm, I drove around Music + & luckily found a great parking spot. There was no wait line & the music plus ppl were very welcoming and let me come in early & check out their place.
The studio reminded me a lot of a large underground basement located inside a garage. The stage and set and the surrounding couches reminded me a lot of wayne’s world little basement but only much larger.
I ended up meeting and hangin out with Jodie, Kelly, Kimberly, Julie & her hubby, Lisa and 2 other gals. Surprisingly, I was expecting to see more LH fans, but there were only us and some of marty’s friends.
I think it was about 9:45 when I saw marty coming in with some other guy (whom I later found out was Dave Sabo (from Skid Row) & friends. He looked great as usual and very relaxed.
Marty headed into one of the waiting rooms and then went into the green room. The girls and I some how managed to get into the small green room, where ppl were taking pics. I went up to him to get my photo taken & asked if he remembered me & he said yeah, Virginia. I was impressed he remembered….& got a quick pic. We couldn’t stay in the room too long bec he had to warm up before the show.
This was the song set:
The Tunnel Call of Distress Wish You Were Here Trees This Town
Jeremy and Dave Sabo both played with marty.
Well after the show, he headed straight to the green room to be interviewed by Jen (Music +). Btw, marty was not drunk and he was totally sober while being interviewed. He was just playing along w/ the role. He was highly amusing and so was the girl as you probably saw from the hot clip. I sure wish marty had his legs wrapped around me, lucky gal.
We all headed outside, where a lot of ppl were mingling. We got to spend some time w/ Marty. I didn’t get to talk to him much, but asked when they would be playing in LA and he said not for a while. They are planning to kick-off their tour on July 22 or 24th in the Midwest and will be heading towards the east, I think he mentioned they would be starting in Missouri & that nothing has been booked for the west yet. (please don’t quote me on this info, it could all change). I also asked him if he knew when he’d be goin on Rockstar and he said he didn’t know, but that he will likely be visiting the mansion & how it’s gonna be a great show.
Well, he didn’t hangout too long. He mentioned that they were probably heading towards sunset strip and that there were so many places to go to & left w/ his entourage.
C’est fini….that’s the end.

Posted by kimberly87 hey everyone....sorry it is so late after the show and i am just getting to posting but i think jodie, virginia and kellee summed it up pretty well.
i showd up right after work and was there by 6:30...i get there and immediately the staff is introducing themselves and i am wondering...do they think i am someone i am not...ha ha ha. but in actuality it is just that they rock and are so freaking awesome and nice. they tell me to go up and get some free booze and mingle...(awesome) so i walk up and the ONLY person i recognize is Virginia (from the vegas show) i was shocked it wasn't already swarming w/ hammer chickies...so we hung out until kellee, jodie, and lisa showed up. We sat there in awe that it looked like this was going to be a repeat of the private show in vegas...small and intimate. so some performers start to go on...and we grab a seat on this giant beige couch next to the stage...very VIP..ha ha ha. we kept getting alot of attention from all the acts that came up because we were so close and I was really trying to support them...I felt so blessed to know that I was about to have ANOTHER spectacular Marty show and I wanted to make sure the other acts were appreciated as well, as well as to make sure M+TV knew we were definitely there to have a good time. So about 9:30 I see Marty walk in w/ his guitar and I am sitting there and he sort of pans the room with his eyes...(maybe checking out the crowd, maybe seeing how many LH fans were there...etc..I am not sure...) but he looked right at me and smirked, then did a double take and smiled and his eyes got a little bigger..as to say "hey, i know you..good to see ya" you know,...the look that makes excited he remembers you...ha ha...so I am just sitting there like a dolt wondering where Kellee and Jodie are so I get up and go into the green room and low and behold there is a picture taking session...(now immagine this...I had a few pics left over in my crappy disposable from the Sacramento show from last weekend and thought well that will be enough since I figured this was a live stream I didn't think pics would be allowed)...so I have learned 2 lessons...ALWAYS bring camera...and buy new digital camera immediatly. thankfully I did have a couple of pics left so I give my camera to Jodie and asked her to take a new one of marty and i (since the one I have from vegas is wretched..ha ha) so I go over and tell marty...sorry, i know this is his pre-show, but would love a new pic, and jodie snapped one w/ her camera...(which actually turned out amazing...) jodie has a special touch w/ the camera though..everything she takes of me comes out beautifully, I am not sure what she does but...it works...it works!!! so we leave...he does the show which you all saw...AMAZING!!!! and as kellee said we were right in front and got lots of eye contact and just great interaction. I didn't know who Dave was but was glad to meet him,,,such a great guy...was cool to see jeremy play "this town" w. marty...i absolutely love that song. so after the set was over we headed into the green room where they were doing the interview...it was so great...and marty was so ON!!!! good going....we all went outside to mingle, frink..etc. talked to marty about the next RS and his coming tour schedule..i was upset to hear that we on the west coast will not be getting any new shows soon since they have only scheduled the mid-west to the east, then back to the mid-west shows so far. said they will be doing the west, but still don't have that worked out yet. I am bummed...Marty was sans a drink all night since he was designated driver..(very cool marty) and he was mingling around all night. we kept getting more time w/ him and finally asked for a group photo, which turned out great (from what i saw from jodie's camera) and included Dave and jeremy. we talked about the sacramento show a bit and marty was in great spirits...I gave him some tips on some fabulous things to do in LA that don't require a $1000 bikini...ha ha ha. he said he has been working every saturday night, and has been wanting to go to the place i had suggested...heard it was really cool, but work, work work....it is good to hear alot is getting done though ya know. so we just mingled around at this "house party" then saw marty pick up his guitars and so we knew he was leaving...he came over to us and have us all hugs and kisses and he was out. we left right after...it was really a great night. I guess it was my reward for not being able to get another Cali show for a while.....I hope it can hold me over. I know this was really long but it was such a great night!!! there were alot of little conversations, and lots of little looks and glances...as it always seems to be with him...we girls knew how lucky we were to be privy to such an intimate show again...we didn't think we would ever get anything like Vegas again...but it was right on. I hope everyone enjoyed the web-cast...
take care everyone, and rock on.
