Good morning. I cannot even see straight as I have not went to bed yet. We partied like rock stars last night so I have basically been up since 530am YESTERDAY! I am at work now which totally sucks. Ok I know get out our violins and cry me a river right?
Ok so since my first message board was teammigayesa.com, I must give a shout out to those ladies and Laura Alber the webmaster. She allowed me with her and others to go inside the Roxy ahead of time and meet Mig again (squee) and gave me a sample album of his before it comes out on 8/22. Very sweet. my camera died right as he posed for a pic with me and his manager took one on his own camera and gave me his card to email for him. Nice, nice people. Al Ortega the Prof. Photog was there. He took my 1st ever photo of me and Mig on my camera in April of this year.
So after that I was lucky enough to stick around and hear This town for LH soundcheck whee, they sounded great.
I was also like CJ front row in front of Dino's side. Mig's short set was fantastic, he is Jodie's new boyfriend, he sang to her and grabbed her hand and kissed it.
Anyhow, LH were on fire. This was the best show ever. Sorry to say better than Vegas and although shorter, better than Pearl room for me. I cant remember the set list right now but they were so energized and Dino came over and messed my hair all up during the show-funny.
How lucky were we all to have heard casualty live? Is that the 1st time they've played it? I have it on video although the sound is horrible. I can truly say no matter how many times you see them--they never cease to amaze...the greatest show on earth.
Then we hung in the VIP area with the rockers--priceless photos were taken of us with Lukas, Toby, Phil, fun, fun. Patrice is very nice too. My 1st time seeing panic channel and they rocked it pretty hard. I can now see why they are squee worthy too!
Backing up here, Jodie is the ultimate street teamer. She got an mc.org bracelet on everyone--Mig--you'll see it in my photos, all the rockers, Steve Isaacs, I think she even got one on PPOD! That I cant remember.
Photobucket was down this morning so I couldnt get any photos loaded--I got home at 530am and went and showered and came to work.
Anyhow we all hung at the rainbow afterwards. Had the booth next to the pc guys. T lee and just about everyone was there for awhile. Thats all I got for now. Photos to come later...... but one word: Phenomenal. Nice to meet you Treedom and Treejay!

First and foremost, I'm happy as hell that I actually made it to the show.
Secondly, I realized something last night during the show, as I stood there dripping in sweat with a drenched head of hair. I've always been a lover of music and going to concerts. But I can be uncomfortably shy in social situations and EVERY single concert I've been to, no matter how I love the artist, I'm usually just chilling in the back, not really singing or dancing or anything, while I'm chugging cocktails and beer. But when the guys perform, they completely bust me out of my shell in such a "not me" sort of way. The adrenaline rush that I get is unbelievable, and like nothing I've ever experienced. It's mesmerizing and intense and heart-stopping all at once. Like an amazing drug or something.
Tommy Lee showed up with three pieces of blonde, busty arm candy. He was hanging with the rockers in the VIP area. I saw Lukas a few times, and he is really quite adorable in person. The ladies seemed to love Josh and were swarming him for photo ops. Zahyra stepped on my foot on her way to the ladies room, and didn't even apologize. Jerkface. Ty made an appearance, too, although I didn't see him much.
Miggy did a good job. He's just so cute and cheerful and happy. Panic Channel, well, I only saw about 15 minutes of the show. They're good, but it was obvious there were a lot more hammerheads than, um, PCheads in the audience. There seemed to be a lot of technical difficulties, and there show was cut a little short. (Note: same thing happened to Marty when his mike went out a few times during a song. What the...?)
The guys played every song on the album! I can't remember the order....just that they ended with Trees. I was a few steps from the stage, so I could see the drops of sweat and hip thrusts up close and personal. Marty's stage presence was INSANE, and I couldn't help but wonder what the current rockers were thinking. Ha, Marty even made a comment like, "I would have been better suited for RS Supernova" or something along those lines. But of course he went on to say how the show made the LH's dreams come true. (actually, he said "me and these three other mother f**ckers. Haha) But yeah, the rockers needed to pay close attention to how it's really done. Oh, snap.
I can't remember what he was wearing exactly, but the back of Marty's vest (?) said "Eat Your Heart Out", which I'd never seen on him before. So cute. He also made a comment about how he thought about wearing two belts so his ass wouldn't be hanging out, but that wouldn't work. And besides, would it be a LH concert if Marty's ass was a no-show???
Aaaaannnnnndddd, I met Bobby and Dino. FINALLY!! I was so nervous, but decided that I would rather feel foolish than leave the show knowing I missed my chance. Dino is, without a doubt, the warmest person EVER. And you can tell he's so appreciative of every single one of us. He made me feel so comfortable while I was chatting with him (very briefly, but still) and damn, I've never seen him THAT up close before. He's beautiful. Anyway, before I bailed he gave me a hug and a sweet little kiss on my cheek. I didn't even think about getting a photo until my husband was like, "get the hell over there and get a picture!" It turned out REALLY super-cute. As for Bobby, dude, I was soooo intimidated. I didn't even speak to him, I actually crept up to him and then scattered away. And again, my husband's like, "Hey, man. Would it be alright if she got a picture?" I almost died of embarrassment. He's soo staying at home from now on. So, yeah, I felt bad because Bobby looked tired and he was trying to bail to go get his stuff. But he was very sweet about it, although I apologized for keeping him. His voice was so soft when he said "No worries" and laughed a little in my ear. Heart. Melting. Stomach. Fluttering. (!!! I just realized that in my embarrassment, nervousness and intimidation, I ran away without thanking him!!!)
Marty was MIA after the concert, so I missed my moment again. Again. Again. Count em, three. Thank god for hammerjam.
There are so many flashes of last night in my brain that I just can't explain in detail. I had like 3 hours of sleep and I can't be a good commentator right now. I'll for sure come back and dish again, if someone else doesn't beat me to it.
PS. Doc, it was awesome to meet you and all the other girls from mc.org. Cali girls, it was wonderful to see you again. Must do it again SOON.

Posted by LASnow: THE ROXY • July 13, 2006 Oh what a night! Wednesday: My flight arrived in LAX the morning before THE ROXY show, and Trevi was kind enough to pick me up, as I was in the middle of giving this handsome man "my autograph" I know, it's funny. He thinks I'm going to become somebody. You mean I'm not already?! It was pretty amusing. Of course, he got Hammered! Trevi gave me a complete tour of all LA & beyond... Since I was born there - I found it to be alot of fun! We managed to get to the CBS parking lot for the taping of Rock Star:Supernova. Instead of going inside; besides running a tad late, we decided to tag each & every car there (he, he) Not to mention both airports (round-trip) Who knew STing could be so much fun?! We finally arrived at my hotel - ahhh! Then, decided on a time to meet in the morning. Thursday: Turns out we didn't have to be there so early. Keshet & Debra arrived first, but were across the street when we showed up. Then others starting arriving awhile later... It was interesting; as Trevi, I and another girl were asked to work for RS for the day, and were looking for official shirts for us to wear. They were so unorganized. But, it was fun to see them set-up for a Red Carpet event. Later, Keshet & I were interviewed by CBS about "Marty Casey & Lovehammers" Thanks for standing beside me Keshet! As Debra slowly stepped inch by inch out of the frame. Strange questions, but we got through it. They were quite impressed with all of us HAMMERHEADS in line ready for LOVEHAMMERS to perform. After Dave Navarro walked by us, the camera man quickly returned asking me about my Dave encounter. "Did he brush up against you?" Huh? "Did you touch him?" What? Sorry, I replied not very star stuck, but it was really nice to see him. Very odd moment! The day went by pretty fast; as Trevi (mainly), Keshet & I hammered Sunset for hours & hours! Until we had nothing left. You two so rock!! Thank you ladies who made the day go by so fast. We laughed all day long. Had a blast! It's 5 o'clock, and these beautiful girls came walking out. I was first in line; well standing there anyways. She couldn't locate my RSVP (not on the list), then went to the others. None of us were on there. Yikes! Even the promoter said he knew I was on there, because he saw my name. They wanted to get it straight for the drawing. Keshet had an extra ticket, and they were able to located that one - only. We didn't care at the time (ha, ha Keshet) if we won anything, we all just wanted a wristband to enter THE ROXY. So, she was nice enough to share, and gave me the other wristband. Thanks! It turned out that they just started passing them out. Those poor girls!!! Now, it was time for them to roll down the carpet, so we all had to move 40 feet; in which took a bit of time. I found myself on the Red Carpet, and before I knew it there were paparazzi everywhere on the other side. No where to go... The RS bus arrived - very cool looking. Ty from last season was there, and interviewing also. Mig & his lovely wife arrived. Let the ceremony begin... The new RS contestants showed up one by one. And, I ended up in way too many of their photos. Looks like I'm with Lukas. All I remember is "look left, look right, look down, look up & look over here." Crazy! But, fun for all of them - now. Finally 7 o' clock, they allowed us to enter the building - yes! The single line now became a crowd. But, we were in there to get a good spot. And, a beverage! They had the biggest beers, that one was enough for three of us to share. Mig called himself "just the appetizer of the evening." He was so great! Played "Baby, I love your way" - it was beautiful. He knows how to rock! Ahhh... Hammer Time! I'm not good with all the details - my apologizes to you all. Keshet gave me her cell to video Casualty. Hope I did a decent job?! Marty's mic didn't work so he took another one and threw the mic & stand away. Not to mention tossing water at us while spinning around. Happy that's all it was (see other reviews for more details). No where for him to climb. Yet, another incredible performance! It was an awesome set; especially since I had never witnessed a full LH set. They were incredible! Nothing new!! And, looked good as well. All had new hair cuts, minus Billy (see photo link below) Then, the infamous raffle... I was four digits off from winning the signed by all Les Paul Guitar, then they called another number and it was Keshet. I don't know who was more excited. Trevi & I were so happy for her; as she is such a sweetheart. No one deserved to win it more! Brooke Burke came out to introduce Panic Channel. After a few songs, we decided to cool off by going next store to the Sunset Grill (I believe?) Great running into Jodie! We were hanging out with "Nick, the promoter" and his beautiful wife. I asked Keshet if she would like me to place her new guitar safely in the corner, but she insisted on wearing it ;-) Great accessory! Before we knew it everyone was there. And, it was excellent to finally meet Marty. He really is very sweet & funny. It was a wonderful way to end the evening. If you want to check out more...
