Posted by linda: Hi Everybody! I have yet to post my review for the St. Louis show, but thought I would post a word or two about Phoenix Hill! Two shows in three days--that is definitely a record for me, and I've had a blast the last few days!! I'm POOPED, though!! Nancy and I drove 85 mph from Mt. Vernon, IL to Louisville I think I need to start working out in order to keep up this pace AND work two jobs! I had a great time meeting and spending time with Cindy and Amy. The concert was wonderful, AND the first time I've actually SAT through a concert. HOWEVER, we were sitting at this little bar thing near the stage, and I apparently had my elbows on it. Well today, I have these raw spots on both elbows. I guess I really rocked the shit out of it even sitting down!!! Lovehammers ROCK!! (it hurts though) I was a bit upset that the crowd did not call them out for an encore. St. Louis was unbelieveable in that regard. But what can you do? They gave it their all, and it was fantastic. I did two cellcerts--one for my friend CJ, and one for my newly-hammered daughter, Ashley. By the time the M&G rolled around, I had had a few drinks, and was feeling not a lot of pain. Poor Nancy--I hope I didn't crash her too many times! Also, I saw some familiar faces (e.g. Tara J.) and I said hello, but didn't stop to talk. I apologize, but wasn't necessarily navigating too well . I was glad to get to go through the M&G line, as I didn't get to in StL. I had some iron-on transfers specifically for Phoenix Hill, but no T-shirt, so I wore the T-shirt I made for Blueberry Hill (I've gotten lots of compliments on it). I just asked the guys to sign the front of it for me, which they did. It turned out great. I have a picture of it below. This is on the front of the T-shirt.... Photo removedThanks Nancy for encouraging me to go--I had a great time
