I guess I'll be the first to post my review here.
The show was absolutely amazing!
The guys were in rare form and were joking around throughout the show. Especially when it came time to celebrate Bobby's birthday. Marty had him come out from behind the drum set, which was a definite first for any show I've been to. And he even gave Bobby the mike to actually talk! ;D ;D
They played for at least and hour and 20 minutes, if not longer.
I wish I had taken a picture of the venue so that you could see how large the outdoor area was. The stage was at the bottom of a hill, and people were sitting all the way up to the top of the hill. I think estimates were in the thousands.
During Bottle of Justus there was a good group standing around the stage. After they left, I decided to go down to get a good spot during Lovehammers. (My husband and I were sitting about half way up the hill - we got there sort of late).
I was able to get a spot about 2 people back on Dino's side. The center area in front of Marty's mike was packed! But I had a great view and got some great pics (to come later). About half way into the set I turned around and the crowd that was standing behind me was huge. It was great to see so many people rocking out to the Lovehammers.

One other thing happened, which I'm sure we've all seen pics of (and I hope someone got one this time). After Marty climbed back on stage after walking through the crowd, his pants were definitely lower in the back.
For the rest of the set, whenever he turned his back and bent over .... you get my drift?
Even the DJ who was MCing the show mentioned Marty's "half moon." ;D ;D
One other story from the show. I met a woman from Madison (she went to the show there), who brought her family down for Last Fling. Her 4 year old son got to meet Marty before the show and got a picture with him.
When Marty said that he was singing Mr. Brightsides because a 4 year old had insisted, I immediately thought of her son. He was really excited to see them singing. She brought him up to the fence and was holding him up. We were on Dino's side of the stage, and at one point Dino takes off one of his wristbands (it looked like a wide brown leather one) and tossed it to him.
Dino is such a sweety!
