I don't have a lot of time to post, but I wanted to hit a major highlight. They played Real Man, Throw My Head, and Summertime In The City!!! The show was amazing!!! The rest of the set list was similar to the Blue Note show. Except they got the acoustic working from the beginning, and did WYWH and Clouds. Marty made very similar comments, too. Dino gave a cynical shout out to Karen and Delores. They pulled a bunch of people up on stage at various times, not just kids. (I'll leave that to them to talk about.) The crowd was very energetic. It wasn't your typical LH crowd though. Some were really obnoxious and not respectful of their fellow fans. Just thought I'd mention it in case they read this. Play nice everyone! After the show, they guys went out back to meet everyone. I was a little surprised, the bar kicked everyone out immediately after the show - midnight. The bars usually don't close until 3 am in KC. HMMMM. Since I had to get on the road, I jumped right into Marty's line. He had promised to sign my Memphis paper in Columbia. He remembered. Then I talked to Dino real quick about the infamous crime duo. That really sucks! Thanks to Sheryl for taking our pic. I didn't stick around after that though. Sorry Bobby and Billy. Had to get on the road. I know this isn't as detailed as my last review of the Blue Note, but I don't have time so just hitting the basic highlights. We are the Fury ROCKED again! Red Line Chemistry was pretty good too. More punk than rock. Apollo 13 didn't show up. That just meant we didn't have to wait as long for LHs! Well, I better get to work. If I have time later, I'll post more details.
