posted by: thewolvesHey you ORG girls I met-where are you? Great show as usual. Small bar, with probably less than 100 in attendance. 3 opening bands. Lots of funny banter from Marty and Dino, especially when Lovehammers "pretended" to leave the stage so they could come back for an encore. A fun show in that it wasn't the same songs done on the INXS tour. Most interesting was the mix of songs they did/didn't do-no Rain On The Brain or Eyes Can't See, but 3 covers-Paint It Black, Wish You Were Here, and Ring Of Fire, and some lesser performed songs like Sky Is Falling and best of all, a stripped down beginning to a rocking finish Morphine!!! I think there are some new Hammerheads in Nebraska after this show

I posted in the wrong place.....but like you, really enjoyed the evening. Even tho the crowd was small, I think we gave LH a great reception. I could have done without all the earlier bands...but LH made the wait worthwhile. Marty held my hand for a few secs.....either because he felt bad that our hands collided or more likely, he saw my bracelet.....lol. I have waited a long time to see them live......it was so worth it.

posted by papiolisa: I haven't stopped thinking about the concert....what a night!!!! I am now a FOREVER lovehammer fan. They have even started playing Marty Casey and the Lovehammers in my spinning (cycling) class. I will convert every Nebraska I can -- NO MATTER how old I get. It was a small audience -- but sooooooo lucky for us who attended. I never in my wildest dreams thought I would get that close (front of stage) or get to meet and thank Marty for coming to Nebraska. We were a great group of fans and I really believe they had a great time playing for us. THANK YOU AGAIN TO EVERYBODY IN THE BAND. So, can anybody tell me HOW I am supposed to get these guys out of my head? I am a married woman and this is not good....I can't stop thinking about the night in Lincoln......
