The show was amazing! They were still in their "birthday bash" so there were some extras. Marty's Mom and Dad were there, along with Marty's brother and friends. We spoke with Marty's Dad. What a sweetheart. I have more pictures of just myself and the band members, wasn't sure if I could post those here.. Next goal....get to Hammerjam!!!!

posted by hammeredyoungMy hubby and I stayed at the back of the venue, behind the Mixers station. It was actually a great view, since it was a few steps above the crowd. I had my digital camera and took several pics and even some video clips. But the funniest time was when I was filming The Tunnel. I noticed that Marty had disappeared, but didn't realize he was walking through the crowd. Suddenly, a body climbs up right in front of me, as you'll see at the end of this clip. (sorry, link didn't work for some reason - I'll figure it out and repost the clip later). Yep, it's Marty, climbing on the platform where I was resting my camera. I stepped back and switched from video to camera and took a picture. Of course, I forgot that I was zoomed in all the way. I quickly turned off the zoom and got another pic before he climbed back down. So even from the back of the room - I got my Marty closeup!
