Well.......this is my second account but I first joined on September 24th......not sure what time but I know it was in the evening....probably around 8pmish est. I see I'm in very good company............I googled Marty and the site came up...........the rest is history........ I am honored to be a part of this family of friends........and honored to be one of the Mod Squad............everyone from the first day has been nothing but great to me and in the past year I have made many good friends........somehow got DG, Doc, and Fly......mudwrestling for my attention.......lol.........Trees has been a real godsend and great pal.........there are so many.......... Amy and Cindy you two get my deepest appreciation in creating and maintaining this site and all you do for Marty and the band. I've yet to meet anyone......yet to see LH live........and yet to meet Marty and the guys face to face......... I think the missus and I are in for a very busy.......very memorable........weekend in Chicago............ ........and Polarfan.........don't forget those drinks you owe me..........he he he It's because you're so sex-ay, Stil baby! Umm, the missus won't eat me for that, will she? |

My first day here was Sept. 25. I'm sure I found this place by Googling Marty or the Lovehammers. I was determined to learn more about Marty! I was hooked on Marty as soon as I saw him, I just had a feeling and I kept watching each week just to see what he would do next. I was relieved, in a way, that he didn't win the show. it was very evident that he was more than INXS could handle and he belonged with the Lovehammers where he had already spent half his life. But, I do give INXS and the Rockstar show huge props for having Marty on so the whole world could see what Chicago had been getting and the rest of us had been missing out on! Now that the show is over and I have seen them a few times (10 or so), I can't imagine any other band out-performing them, I have seen a few concerts but by far a Lovehammers show is the best yet. I don't remember where my first post is or what it was about but I'm sure I'll be looking that up later, lol. I started posting in the over 18 section but now I only post in the Fangirls section. I have met some way cool people because of this board and the other fan boards. I'm honored to be able to share my enthusiasm and love for these 4 guys that I found through Marty with all the other wonderful people that I have had the pleasure to meet and even the ones that I haven't met....we'll get our chance  Thanks everyone who has contributed to this site, its great and I love it. |

I joined Sept 26 about 10am...I think my first post was in the guest book and then I made my way to the message board. Marty caught my eye when I was channel surfing and I first thought, what a crazy person! Then I got sucked into his intensity and stayed on to root for him. After the finals, I got myself onto the Messenger chat when I found out that Marty and Mig will be in a chat session with fans. I managed to post Mig a question but sadly my question to Marty never made it through. It was such a high that I had to find some way to indulge this new-found obsession. Like most others, I googled Marty Casey and I think this was the first hit. It is unbelievable that we've been posting for a year! Even more unbelievable for me because I have yet to see Marty in concert! To be honest, it's thanks to the Aussie thread that I've kept posting for so long. I wanted to go cold turkey a couple of times but I always come back to the board. It's my virtual home. It was Helen who told me about the Aussie thread so I stumbled there one day and I never left. I now count Den, Helen, Peekaboo, Ing, Natasha, Lise as my mates. And....in a few months' time, we'll be meeting up in Melbourne...woo hoo! Except Natasha who's in Canada....but she'll be there in spirit. I wanna thank Cindy and Amy for the great work they've done with the site and the Mods and regular posters who make this board an interesting and importantly, welcoming place. Oh, and incidentally, Sept 26 is not only Marty's birthday but my wedding anniversary  |

Sept 24th for me  I was already registered over at the old LH board and had chatted a bit on the MSN RS board as well. I was really happy when I learned that Cindy & Amy had added a message board to the mc.org site!  Wow...this past year has flown by! Thank you Amy & Cindy, the mods and everyone else on the boards. The site is run beautifully...whatever MCLH info you may be looking for, you'll find it here.  Thank you for all of your hard work. I have also met some of my favorite people through this board. I can't wait to see what this year holds for us all.  |

I didn't want to lose touch with all the wonderful Marty fans from the MSN board, and I knew I wanted to keep up with Marty and his band. I'm also so glad we don't have to deal with obnoxious Marty-bashers here. It's been a blast, and I love what Cindy and Amy do with this board! And it's so cool to meet so many of you at the shows. I met my best friend at this board, too.  Long live the Lovehammers! |

I signed up on that special day too...September 26th. I wanted to wish Marty a happy birthday! From the moment I laid eyes and ears on Marty...I realized immediately that my life would be forever changed. Marty brought me back to an era that I once loved...my ROCK and ROLL era! . I am so thankful for this site and to everyone who comes here. Thank you to Cindy and Amy for making this fantastic community available for those of who googled Marty Casey last year! A shout out to my wonderful friends that I have been fortunate to meet ...  and ! |

I came here from the Rockstar site...I had met so many cool people, we didn't want to lose touch. I heard about the org there...came on over and signed up on the 25 of September 2005. This is my first post on the org. Hi there from New Zealand, I posted quite a bit in the RS:INXS forum so hi to everyone who knows me from there. I just love that all Marty's fans just love him so much. What is it about our long, lean rock machine that moves us so? I have fallen so madly and so deeply that I wonder how I can possibly go back to my ordinary life. I tuned in to the show by accident, stuck around to see what was happening and then he appeared. It was Arms Wide Open. I can't explain it but I was smitten straight away. It is his generosity as a performer I think. I have said this before but he always gives us something of himself. It is always real and honest and so personal. It is like he trusts us with his pain, his sorrow, his joy, his anger, his hope. It is as if he knows that we will receive it all and share it with him without judgement. We will just love him. That, and he is a seriously delicious man. Anyway, fellow Treehuggers, Peachlovers and Koolaiders... Long live Marty Casey. May his star continue to shine and his life be full of love, laughter and dreams-come-true. Dear Ceeje  since you locked my thread i want to respond to some of the comments I made in that entry. First I have been a member of Marty Casey.org since Jan. 2006. I have three different monikers I use. I was not complaining, I was stating my concern for the boys because the audience was so few people. Maybe you can help me out here. I am 60 yrs. young, however somewhat technically challenged. It's been hard to try and learn how message boards, threads, fanstrings work on my own. I have sent several emails to Cindy and Amy ask how to find the street team in Mpls. I still don't know.  Would you tell me how to find It? Thanx, feather |

I joined Sept 24, 2005, 10:54pm and this will be my 800th post. 700 of those are from the last few months. Amy and Cindy - when you first added the message board to the site I thought  , and it was scary for a while. A year later you have made this little community a nice little place to visit. |

Well, I wasn't here when the board 1st started. But I believe I discovered it the week before Rockstar was over, because I knew it was all going to end soon and I wasn't ready to quit my Marty addiction! ;D I lurked around for a couple weeks then decided to join. I know I don't post hardly at all, but I'm a frequent visiter and enjoy reading the latest about Marty & the boys!

I joined right after RS:INXS. I was sad that Marty didn't win because he wanted to win, but I was happy that he didn't win because he was free to do his own music the way he wanted. MC.org was the first board I had ever joined. Although I am not a frequent poster, I am here everyday checking out new news and pictures. Thanks Cindy and Amy!

Joined 25 September 2005, so very nearly one year ago, god it felt like being a teenager again! Me to!!!!! I didn't even realize it was the day before Marty's birthday. Truthfully, I don't know how I found .org. I think I googled Marty's name and Voila! my life hasn't been the same since. I remember in the begining feeling so weird - this "older" woman with the hots for the young, tall, blond rock god. Come to find out, I was one of the younger ladies posting!!!  (I think I even lied about my age when I first registered.) (. ..can't believe what has happened in one year. . one year)  I've met so many wonderful people on here - OMG the nights spent laughing with Levis, Kool, Juliana, Keysunset, Chayla, Mad, and so many others. OK, on that note, I can't go on without mentioning a wonderful Marty lover from the early days. She's not here to post anymore, so - Amymc. ..wonderful, wonderful, beautiful young woman who became very ill in January. Amy, I miss you terribly and think of you often! This site rocks Amy and Cindy  and, of course, Marty  who brought us all together! |
