My date was: Sept 25, 2005, at 9:38am. Oh, I was heartbroken, just devastated when Marty didn't win this gig, and I found myself doing something I had NEVER done before....It was a GOOGLE.... I found this site, and I lurked for several weeks. I know it's hard to believe, but yes, at one point in my life, it was quite "easy" to keep my mouth shut. I had NO idea about anything "boards", or "chatting", and just didn't "get it". But if anyone knows me well here, it usually doesn't take long before I OPEN my mouth and let it all out. After my first post.....Singing Happy Birthday to Marty....OH MY.....I found something inside me that hadn't been there for awhile....I found inner happiness, excitement, joy, fondness, and just a general sense of girliness. (Yes, that is a word cause I said so). I know it's been said before, and well, I'll say it again. I found my family here, and I like them, so I think I'm going to keep them now FOR LIFE.... Nothing like a class reunion here, this is going to be great!... Oh, and yes I remember when Marty posted just as clear as I remember....oh I forget.....BUT I remembered that day!....Was COOL.....He was this SUPER STAR dude and HE POSTED HERE, I freaked out. It was a fun day. I can remember "several" of those days that are now etched into this old memory bank, that will continue to make me a better person, a more open-minded individual, and over all sweetheart of all!...hehehe....  I can't WAIT to meet or reminisce with the rest of the class of September 2005. Love Nancy |

Oh My, Nancy and I are classmates!  Well, I joined on Marty's birthday last year, 26.9.05 although I had NO idea that it was his birthday. Hard to believe, I know. I also found the org by searching on Yahoo and then started lurking  I kept coming back because the fangirls were so hysterical. I couldn't tell you what my first post was but I am pretty sure it involved asking Cindy such burning questions as: how do I post pictures? what is an avatar? what is photobucket? And now I'm on the Mod Squad! Oh my, can't believe what's happened to us in one year --in one year!  |

I joined Sept. 26, 2005. I discovered the site before that, but was too shy and to join. After RS ended, I went back and joined since I was so  and  that he did not win. It took me awhile for me to post anything as I just watched the videos of his performances, over and over and over again. I think my first post was a technical one, like "how do you....."  . It took me 2 months to figure out how to do a strange thing called an avatar  . But as they say, the rest is history. Thank you Cindy and Amy for bringing us all together  |

I joined on September 26 2005...Marty's Birthday  .... Wow its been a year already  and what a year it has been.... I fell for Marty the very first time I saw him on Rockstar....I never really liked INXS but I watched the show because I am a reality TV junkie..... I became so obsessed with Marty I found myself doing things I had never done before...I search his name night and day and came across this awesome site....It took me a few days to get up the nerve to post in here....but after I did I became addicted...not only to Marty but all the great people I have met through the boards....... I finally got the chance to see The Lovehammers preform in August or 2006 in Philly...not only do they put on an incredible show...but they have got to be the nicest group of guys you could ever want to meet....after giving their all on stage night after night they still have the biggest smiles for their fans after the shows..... So heres to Amy and Cindy for creating this site and making it what it is today....a site I couldn't live without...and friends that I am so glad to have met.... |

I joined on Sept 24, 2005, at 11:24pm -- the day the message board launched. I had no idea that when I joined I would be totally sucked into this Marty/Lovehammers world or that I would become a mod here. But I'm so glad I did!  |

I joined 9/26 after reading something on the Rockstar site. I was panicking wondering where to go once the boards there closed down. It was the craziest thing for me to get so intensely immersed into someone like that. I spent 20 years with professional wrestlers... I literally was one of the boys. I was around the boys, celebrity friends, traveled all across the country to major arenas with them.... but i NEVER acted like a fan. You know go gaga over anyone. Then came Marty  I don't know but I've never been the same. Joined a message board for the first time. I can't explain it.....There's just something about Marty. He's a very special human being.  |

I joined Sept. 25, 2005. I'm not much of a poster...but I lurk a lot. I adore Marty and think the world of the whole band. I feel like a schoolgirl and my husband, thank god, thinks it's cute rather than intimidating. He's a fan too. My son has a Lovehammers background on his myspace. We saw them play in Seattle and they couldn't have been more wonderful. Nice, rockin', open and personable. I'm sold. I love my wristband. I come to the site frequently to watch videos, get updates, vote for Marty's picture and so on. Letely I've been a bit bummed because the tour hasn't come this way. Patience...I know. I love the picture people post from shows and all of the links to interviews. Thank you, thank you Cindy and Amy for fueling my mini-obsession. It's been a lovely year.

i joined september 26,2005 i was heartbroken that marty didnt win rockstar inxs but thanks to this site and amy and cindy i could see pics and videos of the man we love.i have made lots of friends and drooled over pics of marty heard several stories of hammer shows so i could live through you all since b/c of family issues i could not make it to any of their shows so thank you amy and cindy for making this site and everybody else who i have become to know this past year.its been an interesting year with lots of ups and down but i love you all, thanks.

I signed up the day I found this place, but almost never signed in for the first few months. A friend(Zura, who also belongs to this board) burned a copy of MOMM for me right before I went home for Thanksgiving. Listening to "The Tunnel" and the other songs for nine hours kind of gets you hooked, doesn't it? So I stayed, came back, remembered my password, and got sucked into a little place called the Fangirl section. I've been trapped here ever since.

Ahhh...I joined September 24, 2005 @ 7:08p.m.!! Beatcha by a few hours Ceeje...hee hee I was just like chk - how do you post/photobucket/avatar...lol I had posted I think twice in the msn boards talking about all the chitchat between performances, at the live tapings. I was having major withdrawals after having been a 'part' of the show for almost 2 months...and did a search for whatever I could find out about Marty & what he was doing next. NEVER did I think I would be someone in a chat/message board, not that it's bad, but I just had no idea what that world was all about! Getting the opportunity to be a moderator was just a complete honor & never taken lightly I can honestly say I have made some of my bestest friends ever here & so many people that I KNOW I will know for a lifetime & beyond... As the show was winding down I began to look for another way to stay connected to Marty Casey. I had been on the msn boards and in a yahoo group. When I decided to google Marty Casey I wound up here. I had been so afraid of losing Marty the org was exactly what I needed, a way to maintain the connection to him. Not only was I able to hold on to Marty but I found a place full of kindred spirits. I love it here and I love you all.

WOW, I have some awesome fans that are also September 'joiners'. TREES, mate! you and I signed on the same day (24th sept) just a few hours apart, how cool is that  chk, WooHoo you also came along for the ride in September.  All I remember from joining is that I was so rapt to find a place for other people who found MARTY just as awesome as I did and I haven't been able to be dragged away since. I must thank AMY and CINDY for starting this wonderful forum. It is my second home and when I am down I just hop on and it turns my mood instantly to one of fun and joy. I honestly would be lost without this forum and all the absolutely wonderful friends I have made all over the world. This place really is wonderful  Cheers, Helen. |

I had actually found mc.org weeks beforehand and just kept checking back every day. I was mostly reading the guestbook entries...until I spotted the message board! I was like, oh hell yeah. (And I originally found the site by searching for a myspace profile for Marty. He didn't have one yet, but a link to mc.org popped up instead!)
This little world of ours is a lovely place and I adore you ALL madly.

I arrived here with a little help from my MSN friends...quite a feat for someone as technically challenged as I am-- before RS:INXS my internet visits were limited to buying stuff off e-bay and sending an occasional e-mail. Needless to say, I've been glued to my keyboard ever since. Marty not only reignited my love of music, he introduced me to a new world of full of love and laughter, a few tears, and a group of women from around the world who have become my cherished friends.
Although I haven't been a regular poster, I visit daily and with a little help from my friends (again) will post more often -- you have a wonderful site here dedicated to the most phenomenal man to grace the rock & roll stage in decades. Marty and the boys have the BEST fans. It's been a pleasure meeting many of you at the 5 shows I've attended so far and I look forward to meeting many more of you at HammerJam.
To everyone involved in starting and running this site, congratulations on your first anniversary and here's wishing you many more.

Well.......this is my second account but I first joined on September 24th......not sure what time but I know it was in the evening....probably around 8pmish est. I see I'm in very good company............I googled Marty and the site came up...........the rest is history........ I am honored to be a part of this family of friends........and honored to be one of the Mod Squad............everyone from the first day has been nothing but great to me and in the past year I have made many good friends........somehow got DG, Doc, and Fly......mudwrestling for my attention.......lol.........Trees has been a real godsend and great pal.........there are so many.......... Amy and Cindy you two get my deepest appreciation in creating and maintaining this site and all you do for Marty and the band. I've yet to meet anyone......yet to see LH live........and yet to meet Marty and the guys face to face......... I think the missus and I are in for a very busy.......very memorable........weekend in Chicago............ ........and Polarfan.........don't forget those drinks you owe me..........he he he  |

I joined September 25, 2005, I used to know where my first post was but not anymore.
I think it had something to do with a certain special someone's birthday?! hee heee
I came to the .org because I needed a Marty fix and found a wonderful group of "on-board" buddies as well as a whole band to fall in love with.
Thanks to all who have made my first year at the .org a fantastic one.
