Did you join the .org in October 2005? How did you find your way here?

I did!!! Oct 17th. Found the site when I was wandering aimlessly after RS:INXS was over and I was not ready to give up my Marty addiction. Not long after, my addiction got deeper when I found the other 3 Lovehammers.



Oh, and I actually was lurking for a long time before I actually registered. I was here in September b/c I remember Marty's b-day.

Hello to my fellow October joinees! I joined Oct 9. I found this board by searching on the internet.

I was desperately missing seeing Marty in my living room three nights a week. Thanks to Cindy and Amy for giving us someplace to go to get our Marty fix.

I can't believe it's been a year already.

I found this site by searching for videos of Marty's Rockstar performances. I found the message board shortly after that and lurked for a while, thinking, "These women are crazy."

But once I jumped in, I was hooked. I love this site. Thank you Cindy and Amy.

I joined October 11, 2005. I had lurked for a few weeks before I decided to sign up! I think there was a thread that I just felt compelled to respond to. This was my very first message board and at that time I thought - I will only post on the serious threads.

I believe that was until I was having a rough day at work and jumped into the asylum! I've met so many great people, who I now call my friends.

So thanks to Cindy and Amy for getting all of this started almost one year ago!

I joined Oct 6th. I think I found martycasey.org through a google search for Marty.

I joined Oct 19th. I found the site after googling Marty and then lurked since Sept 22nd. I finally decided to join the fun in October. When RS:INXS was over, I was so sad at the thought of not seeing Marty weekly on my TV. Who would have known I could see pictures of him and talk about him 24/7 if I wanted. Thank goodness for this site!!!!!

I joined October 6th, 2005. I can't believe it's almost been a year. Well I saw Marty on Rockstar so I just had to check him out. I googled him and found mc.org. My life has never been the same!!! I've met some of the greatest people here. My day isn't complete if I don't come here at least once.

I joined October 10, 2005. Like so many others, I googled Marty and found martycasey.org, had never been on a board before, didn't really know how one worked, etc, etc. Lurked for a while. Read the instructions on how to set up a photobucket account and post pictures. Lurked a while longer. I remember vividly what persuaded me to finally actively participate on the board. I had been reading funny, funny posts by a fan named Henry. That gal kept me in stitches --- finally couldn't stand it any more, had to respond to one of her hilarious quips, and voila! Thanks Henry! (And thanks to sweet Mr Marty!)

I joined on October 10th but had been lurking from mid September. Marty and Jordis were my favorites from the beginning and when Jordis did "Man Who Sold The World" I just had to go on the MSN Rockstar site and hear it again. That site first hooked me in and when I knew it could possibly close I had to google Marty and that's when I found MC.org. It immediatey replaced the MSN site for me. It was "ALL" Marty. At first I just read what was on the home page but as soon as I found the Message Board, I became hooked. I didn't start posting regularly untill Feburary 2006 and that's when I lost all hope of ever leaving this place. I met so many wonderful people. This is such a great place. Now I feel lost if I don't just check in at least once a day.

I started watching RSINXS about half way through the season and fell for Marty the first time I saw him perform. After the show ended in September I hunted for any information I could find about Marty and Lovehammers. I found MartyCasey.org and lurked for a bit until I joined in October. My life hasn't been the same since. I've had experiences I never dreamed of...

I 'bumped' into Polarfan on the board while we were trying to get tickets to the San Manuel INXS show. We met up at the show and have been friends ever since.

I've made many friends that I get to see on a regular basis - Polar, K87, Diva, Doc, CJ and I've made a lot more who I've never met but count as good friends.

This board is awesome! Thanks Cindy and Amy!!!!!!!!!!

I joined Oct 6 2005. My sister found the site for me early Sept and I lurked before I made my first very tentative posts...I never ever thought I'd join the Asylum I thought they were "hard core" and I'd never fit it...***LMAO***
I met 4reeds and Treedom first and have met loads of great people since k87 Diva Jodie CJ Doc SHR and so many more
And many more I cant' wait to meet like Sil Nlt and my "cubs" Fly and GP. All the Asylum girlies...***waves***
And oh yeah these guys in a little band called the Lovehammers. Life has not been the same ***big grin***

Must have been something in the IE air for the So Cal fangirls to all have joined then. Hmmmm - let me think . Oh yeah, Clouds maybe. But no RS:INXS. No Marty. Just some awesome music from a band that had been around for 14 years that we'd never heard before. I also had Googled Marty (now that always sounds interesting ...) and found MC.org, the Sisterhood and LH.com, but seem to gravitate more often to the .org just because it is so well run (more kudos Cindy and Amy)+ of course, everyone here....

Joined 10/4, good buddies, and have pretty much checked in every day since. That's how these addictions work I hear. Like Polar said, I (and daughter Treejay) met her and 4Reeds at San Manuel (wonderful LH encounter), then we did some LH STing at the Pond in Feb. where we met up with K87, and then later I met Jodie and Diva, but not face to face until the Roxy. Excited for HJ to put some more faces to names. Can't wait!!!

I also joined in October, the 9th to be exact, after lurking for a bit. My first ever message board experience was at the RS board. And after googling Marty and Lovehammers, I found the old lh brd and of course the org. I had been a little intimidated on the RS brd and so I really didn't want to jump in too quickly at either of the boards. Glad that I didn't stay a lurker for long because I have met some of my favorite people and closest friends on these boards.

I joined Oct 5th, I think it was posted on Rockstar msn. board so we all could go somewhere to keep up with our Marty Man and not have to deal with JD lovers bashing him, it was so nice to be with Marty lovers instead. So when that site ended I was hear and still crave all I can get about Marty, sometimes I think I am crazy but then I see it is normal here, so that makes me feel better!
I love all you Marty lovers who make me feel sane!

Oct 4, 2005, 11:28pm was the day I officially joined. I was on for a few weeks before that but I was to shy to join. And I am still too shy to post much. I visit the site regularly, just to get my fix.

I was upset when he didn't win RS just because I knew he wanted it so bad. But I do think that he is doing what he truly wants to be doing. Rockin with his friends! I saw the Lovehammers once (awesome) and hope that someday I can meet Marty again.
When I feel that Marty and the boys are slipping away, I come here to enjoy the love!
