I joined in March. I just wanted to communicate with more people who were like me and shared an obsession w/ Marty and the guys.

Hi, I joined also in March. I found this treasure by Google. I was so glad when I found you all hanging out here, sharing the same interest in Marty and his band. I felt so lucky. Thank you all (and especially the moderators) for the best website on the internet  |

Wow, I can't believe it was March 23 when I joined this site, but that's what my profile says. I lurked for a really long time!  I fell for Marty early on during RSINXS and found comfort (and amusement) reading the MSNrockstar board and realizing it wasn't just me who felt this way about this captivating man. I think I posted there once the day after the finale. I also think I heard about this site there, but I'm not sure. I started checking this site as well as LH.com daily to keep up on all the interviews, news, videos, etc. I, of course, became a huge fan of the band, not just Marty. I'm not sure what inspired me to finally post in March after all those months, but here I am. I met some fangirls at the Louisville show. Someone asked if I posted, and I said not really (at that time I had only posted a handful of times). She asked if I ever lurked in the asylum, and I had to admit that I did!  Well, I ended up entering the realm of the asylum after seeing 2 shows within 3 days and suffering severe withdrawal and post-show blues. No one can understand that like a fellow fangirl!  ;D I recently went back and listened to several radio interviews from the past year and was struck by what a gift it is to have all these things preserved and at our fingertips. Thank you so much Cindy and Amy for all that you do!  |
