LOVEHAMMERS will be playing Oct. 1st at the TWEETER CENTER in Tinley Park. They were asked to open for Jessica Simpson at the Katrina Hurricane Benefit. They are the only opening band and will play a 45 minute set.

Chevrolet dealerships in Northwest Indiana and the Chicago area have free vouchers for Jessica Simpson’s Oct. 1 concert, which they are sponsoring at Tweeter Center in Tinley Park!

I would call Tweeter center and verify this before running out and purchasing.

BTW...the concert "free" vouchers given away by Chevy dealers was over and done with...concert is sold out right now.

Anyway there are sources for tickets if you really want to go...I love LH, but just heard Marty on a station here in Chicago WLUP today say he is not back in town until next week....is T-BONE pulling our leg?

My DH sat through two hours of sales pitch at the Chevy dealer on his way home from work tonight...and he got the vouchers for me!

Marty's big bro John confirmed that it is a "go" for the saturday show with jessica simpson.

I still have chevy dealers on the north side saying they have no more vouchers...any one have any more info?

I called one near my DHs work...Sunrise(I think) Chevrolet on North Ave in Glendale Hts. They had them...would NOT give them out unless you test drove a vehicle and got yours appraised...etc

My DH stayed and listened to the usual spiel and scored 4 vouchers. He was there at least two hrs. ;D

Tickets for show on sale at Ebay...search Jessica Simpson tickets. Wish FL was much closer....sad....

If someone attends, please give details...set list...what they all wore, etc. Pics and video would be even better.

I guess Ill be driving Chevy's in Glendale Heights tomorrow. Does anyone know of any ticket brokers that have tickets? I'd hate to go thru all this and end up on the lawn.

Thanks sunny! I'm sure I'll be sitting in lawn seats, but the weather is supposed to be nice. I don't know how well I'll be able to SEE Marty, but
it will be great to hear him & Lovehammers live.
Is your hubby still in town? Maybe there's still a chance to get some tickets/vouchers.

As of about 11:00 CST - Gibson Chevy had about 10 tickets left - not great seats in the 200 section. They are in S. Holland, IL about 30 min. outside the city. Here is the number to call and confirm that they still had tickets: [phone].

I was just outbid on Ebay by one lousy Dollar for the only pavillion seats left. This is just not my day. I hate ebay. I don't want to see Marty while I am sitting in mud. Only seats left are mud/lawn. I may have to wait for the Thanksgiving show. Hope I don't get sniped outta seats for that one too.

You know it's a sad day when you hear Lovehammer and Jessica Simpson in the same phrase. The Lovehammers actually have talent....so why in the living hell are they the opening act for a Simpleton such as Jessica Simpson? It should be the other way around in my opinion.

My understanding, is that this really has nothing to do with Jessica Simpson. This is mearly a free benefit concert to help the victims of Katrina and was an opportunity for some exposure for the Lovehammers. She had no opening act. It made for a good fit and its for a good cause.

98 degree boy better watch out. If Jessica's marriage is in fact on the rocks like what the media has been reporting, she might find herself swept off her feet by Marty. ;D

That is if Marty is even interested. She's fantistic to look at, but with her personality, I don't know if I could be friends with her, let alone a boyfriend or husband.
