So I'm sitting here watching "My Fair Brady" on VH1 (don't ask). There are tons of really quirky reality shows on VH1. I started thinking:
Like many other people I am going through Marty withdrawal.
VH1 did the reality show on Sunday nights that was associated with RS:INXS.
A VH1 reality show following Marty and the LH as they rise to fame and fortune would be outrageous.

I think a Lovehammers reality show would be a great idea. We already know that the videocamera loves mmmmmMarty, but Bobby also has star quality - and mmmmMarty and bbbbbBobby together - what a package! Dino definitely is a great character, too, and Billy rounds it out. I love that Marty and Bobby have been best friends since they were 8 years old. The reality show could have them moving into the LA Hammerhouse, maybe auditioning a keyboard player, follow them recording their new album, re-recording some of their great old songs with Marty's enhanced vocals and at the end of each show they could show a video of them performing one song, with lots of close ups, and Marty eyef**ks. Jordis, Ty, Brandon, Susie, Rafael, Sasha, Nate and his son Miles, etc could stop by to visit or play with them at the Hammerhouse. Dave Navarro loves to be on camera, so definitely more with him. They could even follow them going on tour with Rockstar and/or INXS. Oh, and Liz and other Casey family members could visit. Seeing Marty's joy when Liz got to visit him was so delightful, uplifting and endearing. I love that these guys can rock AND also have the respect for others that gives them great personal relationships.
So much to work with - it's a goldmine with a built in TV audience ready to eat it up.

My DH mentioned the exact same thing. How can "Peter Brady" have a show (although he is pretty cute)? Why not Marty and the LH's? And their reaction to subsequent fame and new fandom of Kool-Aid swilling, treehugging, sisterhood of women (and Jessica Simpson pre-teens...according to posters from last night).
The part of me that is going through major Marty withdrawal desperately loves this idea. The sane part of me doesn't want anything to harm or embarrass mmmMarty and his friendship with his Lovehammer buddies.
In the meantime, keep emailing those talk shows. And Lovehammers...if you read this....get on some TV shows!!

I watch My Fair Brady too! Been in love with Christopher Knight/Peter Brady since age 5- LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!! But Adrianne is a BRAT. All she does is whine and nag. I know he is her dream guy, but if I had a chance like that with Marty, I sure as hell wouldn't be whining, nagging, manipulating, crying, pressuring for marriage and babies, throwing tantrums and BELCHING (gross) all the time!!!!!

Rockstar was a "reality" show in its way ... a documentary is a "reality" show, too, just done with more objectivity and less manipulation. I don't care what they call it, I'd just love to see it, and it would make a really great story.
Tinydancer, if you are still out there, do you live near Denver?
