I just wanted to post that our newspaper has an entertainment section every Thursday, called GO!. It lists all the local music venues and then the St. Louis and Kansas City major headlining bands. Well, I emailed the editor of that, and he told me that I could get the Blueberry Hill show listed on the calendar starting next week. He said he was very familiar with the band. He also said that if we could get them to come to town he would work on getting them more exposure than just a calendar listing. So, I thought I would let everyone know that they should email/call their local papers and let them know about the upcoming tour. We are an 1 1/2-2 hours away from STL so try some of the smaller papers, too. It really pays off!
If Lh is performing anywhere near you, please hit up the local newspapers to get it added to their calendar. While you're at it, if they're very receptive, see if they will do an article on it.
If you get it added to a newspaper's calendar, please post the name of the newspaper and the city it covers.
