A favorite pasttime for many during Halloween is watching scary movies. Well, we can't really watch scary movies online, but we can talk about our favorite scary movies! Feel free to create threads about your favorite scary movies and tell us what you like so much about it. You can also post screenshots and movie posters for your favorite scary movies. So...popcorn ready?

One of my favorite "horror movies" is not the standard blood and gore type movie. It is much more a psychological thriller. That is Wait Until Dark with Audrey Hepburn and Alan Arkin. The point where you think he is dead and then suddenly lunges out of the shadows gets me every time I watch it.

One of my all time "horror" movies is the old b/w "Night of The Living Dead." Blood and gore, but in b/w so you can let your imagination run wild really does it for me! I have only seen this movie once - it scared me so I don't know if I can watch it again! A truly classic horror movie.

I like the original Night of the Living Dead, too. Another show that is really good, though much older, is "Freaks". Set in a carnival sideshow - the ending is really creepy!

I loooove Halloween more than anything! I've already gotten my queue all set up on Netflix for scary movies! The original Excorcist always gets me, or really anything more supernatural-related. Monster flicks don't do it for me. Psychos, ouja boards, posession, etc...
Annndd.....my confession: there was a movie I used to watch every year on HBO called "The Worst Witch". It had Tim Curry and Fairuza Balk in it, and um, I just found it on Netflix. Yeah, I'm 28 and planning on watching an old 80's kids movie. Ha.

The Shining with Jack Nickelson. When he's standing on the steps with his crazed look, and a bat in his hand, "I don't want to hurt you, I just want to bash your head in!"
AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
