I love these channels. I love decorating and the shows like Design on a Dime and Decorating Cents have great tips. I love Trading Spaces too. On the Food Network my hubby Loves Rachel Ray, if she was single and hit on him. I would see only a cloud of dust...he would be so gone. Thats OK I have a little thing for Tyler Florence and Food 911. Love that stuff Oh yeah and House Hunters. We hope to be able to buy a home one day and that show inspires us. Jilly

My husband and I watch HGTV probably more than any other channel. We love House Hunters too and Design on a Dime too. I also like that Cash in the Attic Show. What's that one called where they do a make-over for $500? The name escapes me at the moment. Also love If Walls could Talk. I love that channel. I miss the "Collecter Inspector". I guess it's not on anymore. And I miss the Kovell's. Maybe I'm just not watching at the right time! I'm looking forward to that new show "Hammered". Has a nice ring to it, don't ya think? My daughters love Rachel Ray's show, but since they've become vegetarians, they don't watch it much now. I just wonder how she stays so slim with all the cooking and eating?

I still love watching Iron Chef. Sakai rules!
My friend and her husband also love watching The Food Network, but their kids hate it. In fact, her hubby uses it as a punishment. If they're bad, they have to watch The Food Network for an hour. ;D They act like it's a fate worse than death.

TLC isn't really my cup of tea, except for Miami Ink and Life in the ER. I love those two^^
My mom, my brother, and a friend of mine constantly joke about going on a road trip to Miami to visit the shop, much to my dad's chagrin. ;D

I noticed a few days ago that now that TLC's Clean Sweep is cancelled that Eric the carpenter and Angelo and Kelli also from that show have new gigs on HGTV, I forget Erics but Angelo's is the 24 hour makeover and Kelli's is Takeover my Makeover shows both kinda fun. I loved CLean Sweep but love Style Networks Clean House with Niecey Nash so much better. She is hilarious!!

Hey Cindy, I caught Cash in the Attic a week or so ago for the first time since one of my best friends in FL. just became an auctioneer. I was all jazzed at all the money they get at auction when she burst my bubble and said that anywhere from 20 to 35% of the profit goes to the auctionhouse.............NO FAIR!!! so all the money for the remodel they plan on isn't the amount they take home from the sale. They should put that up as a disclaimer on the show huh? Jilly

Lunalina Glad to see you pop on over here, I was way sick of seeing my own name so much. My brother Jeff does the UCLA book fair every year and last year he was responsible to shuttle Tyler Florence back and forth and so he sent me an autographed book and picture. Tyler is so cute. I used to try to think of things to pretend to be bad at in the kitchen so I could get him to come over and put me in his Food 911 show! Hubby was like "um NO" oh well. The thought was fun anyway. I love anything that has to do with decor since thats where my passions take me. Come on over and chit chat some more. Have an awesome night Jilly

Iron Chef America....Haven't we mother's been doing this all our lives? We race to make our dinners, just to feed it to the "judges" (a.k.a our families) just to get a passing review? Still, I do enjoy the show!!!!!!

I just started watching TLC's L.A. INK with Kat Von D and I love it. She is so talented and her new shop in California is cool. If I ever get brave enough to get a tat I want her to do it for me. It is kind of sad that the guys from Miami Ink didn't show up for her Grand Opening, I guess they had a falling out and never made up? Sad seeing as how they helped boost each others careers . Oh well I am hoping its not to late to reconcile for them. Yes the hopless romantic keeps dreaming.

I am a big HGTV fan. Whenever there is nothing else on and I have seen the complete rotation of CNN HEADLINE NEWS stories, I always turn to HGTV. I am not very handy myself with home fix up projects but I love watching all those shows.

Me too, I leave it on HGTV when hubby is at work. When he comes home ( graveyard) or if its on when he gets up he rolls his eyes and says "didn't we see this already?" But to make him happy I let him go ahead and change it and then sure enough about 5 minutes later he puts it back on HGTV saying "there was nothing else on" haha , its so addicting. I watch that and TLC pretty much nothing else till season premiers of LOST and UGLY BETTY and CSI

For those who loved Vern Yip on Trading Spaces. He has a new show on HGTV called" Deserving Design" It is similar to Extreme Home Makeover in that the family has had some sort of hardship. But the scale of the makeover is smaller. Usually 2 rooms. 1 promised and 1 room as a surprise. It is a really touching show. I love it! It is on Wed. nights
