The judges were tough on the guys last night. Maybe I enjoyed the show so much because of some of the songs... some I could relate to... and not groan about. Randy, Paula, Simon? You don't know 311?!?  |

I couldn't believe that Sundance and Sabrina didn't get enough votes either. It looks like the judges were not too impressed either. Yes, you never know what is going to happen on this show.  |

Oh wow! I couldn't watch last night so I'm just now finding out the Sundance went. He was at least interesting... and that's pretty important in my book.

Sundance is also the son of Roy Head who sang "Treat Her Right" is the 1960's.

blech blech blech blech blech blech blech blech Am I being too harsh?  Nope. Every season my daughter warns me not to get "Idol lines" which are the wrinkles I get from wincing during the show. This year I am not even wincing 'cause everyone is so middle of the road. I agree that Melinda and Lakisha can sing rings around everyone else, but I don't see myself or much of the public buying any recording they make. And, please, somebody, explain to me why Melinda has a stylist and hairdresser who make her look 40-something? She is young -- but you can't tell! ack. |

OK. I was afraid that I was asking for too much. I told myself that's the last 2 hours that they're gonna suck out of me. But I'll probably tune again. I'll cover my eyes and watch through my fingers.
Idol lines... love it! LOL I think I have them too.

Gosh I don't know where to start. Last night was kinda ho-hum but I still am pulling for Melinda Lakisha and Jordan the young girl that sang last. I think they are the best female singers. I am bummed that the guys who are singing aren't picking very good songs?! I like the young Chris R and Blake is cute but he is like everyone else out there already. The Bald guy Phil is kinda cool in his own way but theres no Marty's for me . No one that is standing out as exceptional, to me anyway.
Sanjaya needs to go back to KidsIncorporated!
I voted 5 votes for the ladies I liked and a few for Chris R , Phil and its only so that I don't have to see Sanjaya another week, boring boring dude.
I hope my voting wasn't in vain?

Looks like Brandon went home, Bummer that Sanjaya stayed. I am a little annoyed to read that votefortheworst.com is voting hard-core for Sanjaya. Seems unfair for the artists who are serious about making this their career. Maybe if they had the same voting system as rockstar this would discourage goofs??

Me gone long time...
I missed everyone really bad. I have dial up so be patient with me :-)
I am becoming a fan of Phil but I really like Melinda and Jordin. I agree with Randy she sings so good for just being 17 she seems more mature than other teens on past seasons. I don't get to see it every week but this last weeks Idol gives Back was so moving. I wanted to go to Africa and adopt every one of those precious orphan kids and hug them till there was no more tears and they had warm beds and food in their bellies. It broke my heart. That was a great show. I liked Josh Groban too, he has the voice of an Angel to me.
Missed you all!!!!

Welcome back Jilly. Last week's Idol was very moving, especially the scenes from Africa. It is back to a real competition now that Sanjaya is gone. I like Melinda and Jordin too. I think Phil has been getting better lately as well. Josh Groban does have a very nice voice. Next week two contestants will be eliminated.

I have been busy with the nieces and missed some of last night. I did catch CHris and Melinda and thought they were good. My niece said she thought Chris was "hot" I feel like I have been in a coma not having the internet for 6 weeks!! I hope you are well. I sure missed everyone

Hi Jilly. It was a good show last night. No one did a bad job. Blake's risk with his song paid off as he did really well. Simon liked Lakisha's song and even gave her a kiss!
Hopefully you got to see the show today. It was sad to see Chris and Phil leave. It is always harder to see people leave as you get closer to the end. It is also harder to predict who is going to leave too.

I didn't catch it all but I saw online last night that Phil and Chris were off and I was bummed. I hate these last weeks, I don't want anyone to go but someone has to. I think its going to be Lakisha next. I guess Melinda and Jordin and Blake for the finale. Unless one of them totally blows it bigtime!?
