Do you think Morrison's still alive? Do you own LA Woman on vinyl, 8-track, tape and CD? Then this thread's for you! Please post about the Doors here. Of course he's still alive....Please don't shatter my already fragile heart here...OH MY LORD....And yes....I have EVERY CD that was ever made, and even payed 250 bucks 5 years ago, for the "original" film Jim made while at UCLA for his film project....I have several of his poetry books...LOVE THEM....My latest read just 2 weeks ago, that had me in tears for 3 days....*fragile*...was Wild Child...by Linda Ascroft aka Ginger....If ya don't wanna cry for 3 days...DON'T READ IT....I bawled like a baby.... My favorite Doors songs change continually....almost day to day...as of this week...we have 1. The End 2. Horse Latitudes 3. Break on Through...... Does anyone know the secret of their first album, the secret message in the song lists?....I know, but I'm NOT telling...ehheehhe Has anyone figured out who LA Women really is?......I HAVE....eheheheh Is the End really the end or is it the beginning?.....I know, weird question.... Lets name some of Jim's earlier influences:....... I can soooo remember the moment I heard on the radio that Jim had SUPPOSEDLY died....Tore my heart into pieces....My mom was frying bacon, and it was raining that day....amazing..... Ok....I'll add more soon.....Love Nancy

That's all of the history lesson I've had on Jim, though.

I love the Doors. Well the music anyway, I don't know any trivia. In high school for some class, we had to draw a design to screenprint for t-shirts. I drew Jim and someone in class like it and asked me if he could start selling t-shirts with my design. This was time when the movie came out with Val too. Sold really well. OK so that's my extent of my Doors experience.
Oh wait, my hubby sings just like Jim. He toatlly has that voice and I ask him to sing to me all the time....hehe

Morrison was such a beautiful man.
I read his book of poetry long ago. Very morose.
I've also read "No One Here Gets Out Alive" ... a great book about The Doors.
