I know that this band has been overlooked for some reason or other. I would have thought this would have been posted sooner. Wolfmother is GREAT!!!
My son (3 yaers old) tells me that the song "Woman" is my song. Why? It is about a woman, and he knows that is what I am. Therefore, he tells me "Momma, look the man is singing about you! Do you know him."I think it is funny..lol

Wolfmother?....did someone say Wolfmother? Ingt introduced me to Wolfmother. We had exchanged CDs. I sent her a couple Lovehammer CDs and in return she sent to me Wolfmother and Evermore's CD Dreams. I loved both. They are both totally different. When it came time to vote for the Aria awards it was tough to choose between the two awesome bands. Evermore grew up in New Zealand. I ended up voting for Wolfmother and they pretty much swept the awards. To see them live is high up there on my To Do list. Here ya go Starcrossed......Woman! www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z94g_4Za7tM Den

WOLFMOTHER
Awesome awesome band!
I saw Wolfmother a year ago for the first time. I hadn't really taken much notice of them before but sozl and I got up the front of the mosh, with like 50,000 people behind us, at the 2006 Big Day Out and rocked out like there was no tomorrow. They totally blew me away and I went out and bought the CD the following day.
Then in July we saw them again, this time with our kiwi matey Palari, at Splendour in the Grass. Up front and centre again but this time only about 17,000 in the audience. Blew my mind again.
Wolfmother live is definitely something to put on your 'things to do before I die' list.
Star I'm pretty sure Wolfmother are nominated for a Grammy for Woman in the best rock performance category

Thank you dlh!!! I love the music this band makes!! It has a really deep sound, almost like The Doors! Moreover, they are from Australia...Aussies have an amazing talent pool. I can just think about how many actors, actresses, musicians, ect. that come from Australia. Wow!

I am happy for you dlh!!! I would suggest that you add more things to do on your "things to do before you die" list. You are going through them fast, but not to worry you still have avery long life ahead of you. I just don't want you to get bored if you finish your list. Hawaii I have heard is nice.
