Since MCLHs got me re-hooked on rock music, I discovered (mostly on the sadly missed indiebandradio.com) other bands I also love the unique sound of:
A Thousand Cures Father Peter Band Dead Influence Plank 63 10 Years
Do you have some interesting bands to list in this thread for Hammerheads to check out?

I haven't looked but I wonder if these bands have myspace profiles? I will do some hunting to see, maybe that will give us a taste of their music too.

I went to myspace and found sites for A Thousand Cures and 10 Years but that is the only ones I could find, they each have a good sound you might like if you like Lovehammers

Hi Jilly! Some of them have songs on iTunes where you can hear samples first. Father Peter Band's Cocoon sounds like Zeppelin in a way. I could easily hear Marty and the boys playing any of these songs, but then again, they could play anything for me and I'd love it!

I second that! I keep wondering why things aren't flourishing for the guys ? But the timing is just not right I guess, when the Universe is ready to let them . Look Out World!! and we will be sitting back saying "I told you so"

There is a band that I really like on MySpace... www.myspace.com/wiszdomstone All they want is 5 minutes of your time. If you like what you hear, please request an add. If not, that's fine. This music has a harder metal type sound to it. Not sure how many feel about that here. I've talked to one of them about the lyrics they write....and it is about people they know and themselves. These guys have faith...and that's a good thing. Thanks.
