I've noticed in your writings over the last year that you have quick radar for seeing through the masquerade and pretense. You always bring things back to the simple truth. Do you credit this skill to your family up-bringing or is it part of who you are?

Boo,
It's been an amazing year and it's ben a tough year. Sometimes you fight so hard to push the boulder up the hill and when you get to the top you find a brick wall with barbed wire and torn and tattered unbrellas stuck in the barbs like a knotty root. The only reason I keep fighting is because my spine is fluid and flexible and finds a way to snake thru the cracks of light. My family upbringing made me stong and their intelligence made me realize that it's not just about being strong but also being fluid and flexible. Life's not perfect and the destination is sometimes a detour.
