Bowie meets Depeche Mode ??

Hi Marty,

How are you? I hope you are doing well.

Can you gives us any more details about your new solo album? David Bowie meets Depeche Mode hmmmm, Space Oddity colliding with Shake the Disease....hmmm. Can you give us more details, Mr. StoryTeller? Can you tell us if you will tour? But most of all, how are you? Do you find something to make you smile everyday?

That almost sounds creppy... "Do you find something to make you smile everyday?" Something really weird about that question. Like someone that is just holding on to thier last thread of sanity and the slight crack of a smile saves them.... barely. eeeewwwww. Like I said weird. Smiling is optional. I prefer to laugh and I have been laughing alot lately. I feel really good.

The solo album? Everyone is guessing I'm gonna do a solo album. What makes you think that?

I have been feeling very inspired for the last few weeks. I feel the writing has finally taken a big step up in the right direction. At first you write but it is kinda just purging out whatever is on your mind and inside of you. When you get all that out you start to write some songs with real substance. Lyrically they are tending to be stories but once in awhile it's more about a high energy balls to the wall rock cut. Yep, Bowie has been a big influence and I hear some dark sounds in my head as far as production. I want it to be different than most everything I have written before. I'm trying to say something and it comes out in whispers and screams. No method to the madness but to keep working and finally when I lift my head up from the journal I will be in a place that I wanna exist for awhile.

Does that make ANY sense. I have no idea. haha
