Marty - just viewing the most recent e-mail from your site and noticed you have inspired a t-shirt with the old make rock not war anthem. As an Army mom who has a son just back from Iraq after a 14-month deployment this just blew my mind. After being a big fan since Rock Star INXS and I was at your big concert with INXS in Chicago, I must say I am disappointed. You're an educated person so what is up? This sends the wrong message to our troops who I feel you are not respecting. Why not send the troops overseas copies of your CD for Christmas. A good support organization (non-political) is Give2TheTroops.org where my daughter is on the board. Ask Kid Rock how he spent his Christmas last year.

Hoping for peace is NEVER a wrong message. We write songs about the troops, we support the troops, we send gift packages to the troops. We have friends and family over there as well.
Peace is the way to bring them all home safe. I think we should all be able to wrap our heads around that.
