Audience Singing With you

Hello Marty,
I've been wondering this for a while.......So when you are performing, How does having the crowd singing with You affect how you sing the song?

It makes it more of a party. You can never predict the nights that the crowd is just going to take over. It's fun. It gives me more liberty to play the guitar a little differently or have the crowd do the main melody line and I can harmonize with it.

The toughest part is when a fan is clapping way off the rhythm and I am trying to keep the rhythm consistent. It's like trying to pat your head and your belly at the same time. It's not impossible but it takes a little focus.
