Hi Marty, Your new songs are excellent! "C'mon Baby" has a hard edge that I really enjoy, and "Watch You Go" has an incredibly infectious 'hook'. Well done on both of them! I know you like to write with other people and share the creative process. Did you have any songwriting partners for either of these songs? If so, who? Will the songs be released for purchase at some point? Can't wait! See you at Hammerfest! Nancy

I wrote Watch You Go with a guy names Dennis Hill from a so-cal band called Lefty. We had mutual friends and met in a recording studio and wrote it in an hour or so. It was a difficult process because an entire band was waiting on us finishing the song so we could record it that evening. It was a high pressure situation but it made for a great tune.
"C'mon Baby" was written by a guy named Bob Schneider. Doc McGhee played the song for me in LA on one of my trips out there and as I listened to the words it was strange that it perfectly described my life at that point. I wanted to take the song, modernize it, rearrange it a bit and put my spin on it. I really loved getting to hook-up with the House Band and cut this tune on a blistery afternoon in Van Nyes. Same recording studio where Guns n Roses cut some tunes for Appetite for Destruction. I get off on the history of studios. The song slams and I'm glad I got to do it.
