I found this on-line and I don't recall this being listed anywhere else on this site or the Lovehammers' site. This is a full-length performance video of Straight as an Arrow from a concert (can't tell when or where) and it really shows how great Marty's live vocals are and great the band sounds together. www.angelfire.com/film/videoworkschicago1/LH1.movBTW, MC looks hot, hot, hot (of course). If this is listed somewhere else, forgive me- no harm in seeing it twice, right?!

1. ATTN to those who click the link and get nothing and are stuck, cut and copy the link in the original post above and then paste it into a new browser. 2. WOW THANKS SO MUCH FOR THIS, MY FAVE LH song besides THE TUNNEL. Marty sounds Awesome as does the rest of the band. I just recently discovered there is more than MC. Three other members known also as the LH.

Julianah, trust me - I understand. I needed a Marty/LH fix, too and I thought I'd seen everthing there was to see, but did a google-search anyway. I was actually looking to see if there were any Live/Raw DVD clips available because I can't wait for my order to arrive. And then I found this. Happy day! Yes, Rockbeast there are 3 other guys there- but have some mercy on us Marty fans . We got used to seeing MC every week and now we are in withdrawal. Seeing the rest of the LH is awesome but most of us didn't know them previously so our addiction to the rest of the band is just taking hold.

Exactly. I've developed a musical addiction to the LH, but the Marty thing is multi-layered. (I love the LH, you see, but "just as friends".) ;D

Am pretty sure that this was filmed at the Double Door on the same night as the other tracks on the DVD but it sounds like the studio version was dubbed over the original audio as the rest of the tracks are abit more "raw" sounding... except for the very end where Marty thanks the crowd. The raw sound is not a bad thing it's cool to hear them be relaxed and having fun... not taking things so seriously. The DVD is great! I love it and have watched it more than a few times already. FYI... You can save the video to your hard drive by right clicking and selecting Save Target As.

Thanks Ginaing, that was a great find. Have ordered the Live/raw DVD for my Marty fix. Last night I was watching the first 5 episodes of Rockstar.....either Marty was just holding back or he really did blossom into a bona fide "Rockstar" Those who knew him before Rockstar can answer this for me. He is so dynamic....gosh, he is fun to watch.

I've watched this repeatedly and have always wondered if the song is the studio version or the the actual live recording. This is my favorite LH video to watch to get a fix. The DVD thread here along with this video made me order Live/Raw as fast as I could!

Ginaing, Thanks so much for posting this!
And thanks to the others with feedback on how to make it work! Copying and pasting didn't work exactly, though--I had to physically type the address into the browser for it to work!
A couple of other questions: 1. "save target as" is grayed out on the drop-down menu. Is there any way to save this? and 2. is there any way to make the actual video any larger?
Thanks

I'm computer-challenged so I can't help, linda. Sorry! Glad everyone's enjoying it as much as I did.

Thanks Once the Quicktime file loads, you can go under "File" and click "Save Page As"; this will let you save the file as a .mov (Quicktime). I'm using Firefox and this is what works for me. As for making it larger, you can drag the lower right hand corner of the Quicktime viewing screen. As the image gets larger, though, you'll notice a deterioration in quality. It's only 72 dpi. We have to settle for tiny Lovehammers. (But it's better than no Lovehammers at all.) ;D

Actually all you need to do is click this link... www.angelfire.com/film/videoworkschicago1/LH1.mov, select Save As Target choose the location you want to save it to, click Save and it will download to your computer. There is no need to go to the host site.

WOW! Awesome. Thanks for sharing. Looks like Marty has a penchant for guitar smashing. Thought it was an impromptu smash on RS. Where does he get all those poor guitars that sacrifice themselves for his art? LOL

I wonder if he takes donations. I would love to watch him smash my guitar.

Hey, MSD2K just paid a handsome sum for the Hit Me Baby . . . lyrics package on Ebay. The money goes to the band so they need to put lots more on Ebay to pay for all those poor guitars.

steph0313, I also had trouble re-opening it from the link I copied & pasted. But if you just type the who link into your browser (and make sure that pop-ups are temporarily allowed), it should come up. Good luck!

Okay, here is another one that I think is posted somewhere on this website but I can't remember where and can't find it again. I had written it down because it was hard to find the first time (yeah, I'm crazy like that- needed to watch it repeatedly). www.puredv.com/media_lovehammers.htmlThis is great because it has lots of shots of them playing and talking. Marty has darker, longer hair and looks sad in his interview. But it has great stuff. Marty with blue dreds in some scenes (very hot, I'm just warning you).
