 This was posted on the LH's website that they signed with Epic. Can any mods confirm this? The poster was listening to the announcement on the radio. CONGRATS to the Lovehammers..you deserve it!! Much love to them!

Funny you should mention this...I was looking for Mary music on MSN and was bummed to discover you can't download any RockStar:INXS songs (already got mine, more bummed for others) but you can still download Trees...the "album version" thanks to Burnett Records/ Epic Records...I hope this means they've signed cause that means they're that much closer to releasing a new CD (and maybe re-releasing a few older ones). But, most of all, I hope this means they'll get all the love they deserve (which is a lot)! I just saw that as well. Of course, I am waiting for 'official' news before I do my 'happy dance.'
Marty/lovehammers are awesome and I really hope they got a great deal. They deserve it!!!

You mean we can't download RS:INXS Marty songs anymore?! Wah!!!!! I was waiting for dh to bring home his pc so I could download the rest that I wanted. Snooze, you lose, I guess. : ( I really wanted Lithium, Arms Wide Open, Take Me Out and HMBOMT as well but didn't get them the first time.)
BTW, was there anyway to get Arms Wide Open before. Legally, of course ; ) ! I know some posted on this but I never saw an answer.
Oh, and when you (can't remember the poster) say that they took them off because of the upcoming cd, I assume you mean the Rockstar:INXS DVD that is being release.

UandMe...I'll PM you a link to download the rest of the songs...I believe it's legal - says its the "offical" idol download sight, Dave Navarro knows about it and I have all the Marty songs and haven't been arrested yet ;D

I'm glad for Marty and the rest of the Lovehammers, but bummed cause I guess I won't be able to listen to MoMM on indiebandradio anymore (their slogan is "all unsigned, all the time). Ah well, the "velvet sting of fame."

I have received an email from the Lovehammers that says the new single will be released in the next 1-2 weeks so I think its safe to say, that yes, they've inked a record deal!! Here is the part of the email that talks about the single: Once again, thank you ALL for your support, and please keep spreading the word. The first single will be released in about 1-2 weeks, so get ready for a WILD RIDE!!!! ROCK! Lovehammers |

I'm so excited!
I have to add that Epic records seems to be really fan-friendly. I am signed up for a couple of their newsletters and they are really on the ball in letting the fan know the latest news/Tv appearances, etc.
Edited to add:
According to Bigbrother at the MSN Boards the new single coming out is "Trees". It will be a new version they recorded/are recording in LA.
