Basically it amounts to tormenting the IT people until they do an update. First ask nicely though. Then drive them nuts. Lie to them, tell them that you tried opening something work related and it asked you to update/install flash, but you couldn't because you don't have admin rights. oh my~sounds like you have to be a bit agressive....good luck kes! I'm doing an adobe reader upgrade so it closed some of my windows. why do computers have to be complicated....LOL...I hope I am doing the right thing.

Night Fly! Sleep well~ *g* Yes, it requires being a bit pushy and it requires sounding like you 1) know something is wrong 2) have no idea what it is and 3) are -quite- put upon by this 'set-back' Of course, it helps if you can be like "Christ, I'm sorry I have to bother you about it...I would have done it myself but..." Computers are evil, evil things. I love them so  |

khi, I never was into or liked computers, Until I discovered Marty Casey. Now I have gotten deeper and deeper involved in computers and internet. I love it!!!

 You don't have to BE aggressive, just fake it. Me, I have no choice. In my field, you HAVE to be ballsy and pushy or you get nothing done and you'll get demolished by the clients, vendors and everything. What's great is our IT guy is a moron and I have to follow behind him constantly re-fixing the things he's "fixed"...and I have to do it via work-arounds  You can do it Kes! Well Isa, if you've ever got computer questions, just let me know -- I'll try to help you out as much as possible.
