Yes, the jump in I, Alone is outstanding. But all of I, Alone is a poof moment.
Marty's Take Me Out Robot Dance, head banging and mad conductor....had me from the start.
Subtle conductor arms in With Arms Wide Open
Intense face reactions in HMBOMT, Creep, Lithium, hell all of them
Any time the camera closed in on his face......squee!!
His "phenomenal backward propulsion" move during in his first performance of Trees.
Any time he smiled
Whenever he arches over backwards and hits a hard note
The freak-out move near Jim during What I like about you!
Looking so vunerable sitting on the stool during Mr. Brightside
The encore of Wish You Were Here ...all of it
His whole performance of Don't Change during the bottom 3. Powerful
During the finale of Don't Change with INXS...he did do his jump with knees bent and feet splayed (see pics in Getty Images) but it wasn't shown on video.. I love that move!!
Whether Marty sits, stands or moves....all of it is AMAZING!!

We know Marty had lots of trademark hot and sexy moves on the show... Which was your favorite? Mine was during "Take Me Out" when he kind of knelt down to the side and did a robotty-thingy (I don't know how else to describe it) when he sings "don't move, time is slow". That's the first time I remember seeing Marty, and thinking now this guy is unique and totally HOT!! Love at first sight.. I watch that clip over and over... his back stretch like a long lean languid tiger that has been laying out in the sun for hours and he thrusts his hips forward *THUD* |

OK Ok this list could really get long .. to start I really like on the first time he sings Lithium, he grabs his hair when he says , its okay to shave my head and he has his hair in his hand pulled back showing off the beautiful eyes of his..  and when he sings Creep, I love the way he stands.. with one hand restin on his thigh.. just stands sexxxxy.. Girls. I am 30 years old and cannot BELIEVE I am as obsessed in the non stalking kind of way as I am.. I do know that I LOVE watching the Hit me one more time video just the intensity in his eyes.. ok now do you see what i mean by the rambling on and on about him.. I am driving my friends, and mom CRAZY, and my husband ..he doesnt know what to think.. lol |

I loved it when during the finale performance of WYWH he looked up towards his left and smiled, and then tilted his head back down and stared straight into the camera! Wow!
Also during Mr. Brightside when he looks straight into the camera after singing "Destiny is calling me." That part makes me melt!!!
And someone mentioned this too...but the backward propulsion during Trees when he stuck his arm out, and his hair was covering his face, and then leaps backwards at super-speed....That? Was totally awesome!!

My two favorite Marty is definatly during final WYWH, he stared off to the left for a couple seconds, then turned back to the camera, starring into the eyes of the world. It was so sexy, I couldn't get the vision of his face starting back out of my mind.
He is just amazing

Every Marty move is a favorite! The best is the intensity on his face during creep. And when he has to hit the high notes- "shes runnin out...." he has this look on his face like oh my god i cant believe i am nailing this song!

Has anyone caught the part during HMBOMT where he just gets so intence and his beautiful mouth is wide open and his face kinda shakes and eyes dart around while singing- "Dont you know I still believe" aaaahhh makes me wanna scream

Just watched the Lithium encore.. the end is sooo intense... after he gets done screaming..that crazed look in his eyes.. then he is back to his humble self in an instant..Im telling u .. watch the end of that video.. WOW

It's on Arms Wide Open after the conductor dance which is in a class all by itelf. quote] Gotta admit that it is REALLY hard to choose, but when he did the conductor thing in Arms Wide Open, a song I don't even like, I almost fainted! My all time favorite is during Creep right after the ultra hot guitarist, Rapheal, makes his "O" face while Marty sings, "I don't care if it hurts." Then BAM! Marty's face...it's only for like a millisecond. Then he's sings, "I wanna have control." That has got to be the hottest thing I've ever witnessed in my life! Ok you are right, I just checked it out and that is my new favorite move as well. |

I would have to say his best move is when he just stares into the camera and hypnotizes you with his intense eyes. Physically, i would say the entire debut of trees just blew me away. He was all over the stage, then the backbend thing (wow). I was so mad at myself for not recording that week's show. At least I can watch it online even though it isn't nearly as good as watching it on my big screen with surround sound.

The first time he does WYWH with the choir, at the very end of the song he stands there at the microphone, hands in his pocket, one leg slightly in front of the other as the camera pulls out during the last notes of the song, and then the camera goes back to Marty and the song ends. I love it when he bows his head and puts his hand on his forehead as he turns his back towards the crowd. You can just tell that he knows he's nailed that song and he's so overcome with emotion. That slight glimpse of vulnerability is breathtaking!

Another one that makes me turn to mush is his all-over body tremble after belting out the screams in Creep. I almost died watching that...
Someone else mentioned the part in Creep where he stares into the camera singing "I wanna have control". That has GOT to be his sexiest camera gaze, and the lyrics that go along with it, well, that just puts the icing on the cake...

I love ALL of these. ALL. Every move Marty makes just sears me to my core. One of his most beautiful faces was during the first "Trees", just after he says, "We ... will make believe ..." and he looks up to his left (our right) and sort of smiles. His face is absolutely luminous.
The backwards propulsion/stagger also slays me.
I just watched it and am sitting here in near tears. WTF is *that* all about??

I LOVE every one of the moments mentioned.
I also love when Marty got down kind of kneeling on his knees during "I, Alone". He is bouncing his body up and down to the beat holding his ankle. Yeah Baby
Also, during "Arms Wide Open" when the light shines down on Marty and the way he says LOOOVE. That was SEXaaaaaay !
Mr Brightside was quite a sexy performance also.
OH Damn, they all are.
I also loved his performance of SUICIDE BLONDE. Ok, so I couldnt actually see him. But I imagined it. It was HOTTER THAN HELL!!! The way Marty said the word "Blonde". Michael Hutchence said it that way too. SEXaaaay!

There have been a lot of mentions of the "Creep" performance on here, so I just watched it again, ok so I really watched it twice, LOL. I have to admit, the end of "Creep" when he starts to scream "run" and he hangs on to the mic stand, all the way to the end of the song...that has to be one of the sexiest things I've ever seen!!!

If I had to pick "one move" it would be:
He had me mesmerized from his first song. "You Really Got Me"...DAMN...I like out-of-control mmmMarty.
To his last song, that wasn't a redo. "Creep"...WOW... he knows how to work the camera.
