Oh every move of course, but I specially love the way he puts his head slightly to one side in those close up shots and kind of blinks and looks down and then hits you again with his incredible eyes when he looks up.
Also love the way he gets that tiny crooked smile as he looks away and then back at the camera - you can see this on the big screen shot of him doing his debut Trees. Makes my heart bang and my head buzz.

The first time he does WYWH with the choir, at the very end of the song he stands there at the microphone, hands in his pocket, one leg slightly in front of the other as the camera pulls out during the last notes of the song, and then the camera goes back to Marty and the song ends. I love it when he bows his head and puts his hand on his forehead as he turns his back towards the crowd. You can just tell that he knows he's nailed that song and he's so overcome with emotion. That slight glimpse of vulnerability is breathtaking! Oh I am so with you on that one, the vunerable emotional bit at the end of Wish you were here.... so genuine, so cute... Also the look on his face when he found out he was safe in the final 3. Phew, I need to get home from work and watch a RSINXS video!

I've got it. When he is doing creep his right hand is cupping the back of his leg. I noticed all of the other stuff but that is the one I noticed the most. It made me wish I was that hand. Then there is another thing I don't think anyone mentioned. When he looks into the camera he actually looks up and down like he is looking you up and down. Like he wants you. He knows what he is doing he is good. He knows how to work the camera. It's so hot.

favorite marty casey moment... how do i pick just one?... erm... the intense wavy arm movements during With Arms Wide Open... the breakdancing/pop-locking during Take Me Out, the near fatal jump off of the drums during What I Like About You, the maniacal hair grab during Lithium...
but ultimately its the creepy beyond belief haunts my nightmares wide-eyed cold stare... this look can be found in almost all of Marty's performances but its at its most intense during Baby One More Time and whenever the scary conductor conducts. Only Marty and Robert Smith have mastered the gorgeous paradox of the "creep me out/make me want you" concept.

I'd have to go back and look through the tapes I have of the show to find out where he did this....but there were a few times when he was singing and he would just sort of look up off to the side and grin. It wasn't really sexy....but cute. That would have to be my favorite. i know what you're talking about.. its during Baby One More Time when he sings "still believe" its awesome, then he makes a smooth transition back into the menacing creepy Marty Casey look. I love it... only he could do it and make it look so organic and sincere. ALL HAIL ::takes a sip of kool-aid:: ♥ sheria.

Another one that makes me turn to mush is his all-over body tremble after belting out the screams in Creep. I almost died watching that...
omg you are so right! You can tell he pushing those notes out with everything he has. It's so intense it makes me tremble

I loved it when during the finale performance of WYWH he looked up towards his left and smiled, and then tilted his head back down and stared straight into the camera! Wow! Alright ladies...hasn't anyone else figured out that smile yet? Guess who was sitting stage left in the balcony? Didn't Marty mention that his family was in town that week? I'm willing to bet that smile was for his parents and any assorted brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and friends that were able to make it there, and maybe even some Lovehammers (but I don't know if they would have been up there or hootin' and hollerin' down on the floor). That smile was AWESOME - the total reversal of the week before when he was missing everyone so much. How that man can put whatever he is feeling into his performances and make his audience feel it too, is the sign of - and I've said it before - a true artist. And a Man who has figured out what matters to him in life and is able to show how much he loves those closest to him - THAT my friends is sexy!!! Watch it again and tell me I'm wrong!

I have had a real Marty week this week, hubby away on business, watched my RSINXS videos every night, sat about 2 inches from the tv screen......... be still my beating heart.

But the jump in "I Alone" gets my heart pumping on overload. [/quote] Same here for me too! It was that spot on jump that Marty had done on I Alone. Be still my heart.

Please - favourite move??? Best I can do is "one of my many, many favourite" moves..... Third Week Encore of Lithium.... oops sorry can't do it... gotta have two moves.... At 1:18 during one of his screams, he's gotta hold on to the mike with BOTH hands and drag it out by the hind legs - just LOVE the body language there! So freakin' intense. Then, at the end of the song, when INXS says to him "Well done buddy" and he looks up at them, you can tell he hasn't quite returned to earth yet - he still has 'wild' in his eyes... It's no wonder we get pulled off this planet when he performs! Marty goes there first, he just leaves the door wide open so we can follow...... And I keep going back for more

Thank you Cindy! (and sunnyt) That was very, very nice! It was great to see some new Marty stuff. Watching the vids was great, but the picture of him pouring water (by the pool) is an excellent shot of happiness. I can't remember where I stumbled upon it (several times over) OK, off to the gym so I can listen to Marty under the headphones as loud as can be without my husband giving me the evil eye! 1. I like it when marty does the leans and also the hop off the drum riser befow "What I like About You" 2. LOL when I go to the gym I crank my Marty Casey/LH folder on my iPod (18 songs, MOMM LP and all the RS INXS)and people give me evil eye all the time, I am jogging away on the treadmill/ banging my head and singing "STRAIGHT AS AN ARROW, TRYING TO GET THE HELLLLLLLLLL OUT,..., ETC" and others are like "okkkkkkkkkk" They just dont get it, I might look stupid playing air guitar but I dont care!!!

Your funny, rockbeast ;D. My fave is when he does the weird self-propulsion backwards in the first "Trees" performance. I also like it when he starts off kinda calm and stationary in "Take Me Out" and then he wigs and he hat goes flying and everything. ---There's also a vid of the Lovehammers performing "Straight As An Arrow" and Marty sings, "My girl, you're so dirty" while coming up behind Dino(?) and grabbing his (Dino's) hair...it's great because Marty starts off all dark and serious but then he begins to smile a little and Dino seems to let out a bit of a chuckle. (You know two guys are friends when they'll allow one another to pull their hair and imply they're a dirty girl in front of millions...you know they're true friends when they're actually amused by it. )

That's hilarious tookskye.
I like that backward propulsion move in Trees too. Or the combination hair grab/psycho look in Lithium. Or the scary conductor arms in Take Me Out. Or the backbone-defying backbend. Or the little bop-walk that he does. Okay, okay...squeeeeeeeee!

I missed the first few weeks of RS (argh!), and so the first time I saw him was "I Alone" ... it was the jump that got me, too.
I thought, "Who IS this guy???"
From then on, I have been hooked.
Other moves? Well, besides the backbends, there's a moment in the first version of "Trees" when he's singing without the band, and then on the word "in" the drum kicks in and Marty drops down right on the beat. He disappears from sight for a second, but the timing of the move was absolutely perfect! I think that's the "self-propulsion" thing tookskye mentioned.

What I Like About You - Universal Walk. I can't stop watching him at about 1:16-1:30, he IS THE MUSIC. The energy to the beat is the best.
Take Me Out - Everything about this performance.
Don't Change - The bottom 3 - His little skip when he is moving across the stage at :42, when he grabs his arm and sings "execution of bitterness" at 1:16 and then the emotion in his face at the end when he is singing the last bit 1:53 till end - makes me want to cry every time I see it.
Arms Wide Open - the slow mo conducter and when he puts his hand up and out and sings "I'll show you Love" and when he sings "he can take this life and hold it by the hand" - and he moves his hand so eloquently to the words. What makes this whole song so beautiful is that he says he sang it for his new 4 month old baby godson Michael.
I Alive - when he falls to the ground and grabs his leg behind him - Oh and the jump was awesome.
I could go on forever but let's suffice it to say there is not 1 moment of any of his performances that I didn't like - love them all.

Favorite Marty Move -- Do you really expect a girl to pick just one!! I simply don't have that much self control: 1. When he falls to his knees in I Alone. 2. The Jump in I Alone. 3. The look in his eyes in the encore of Lithium when he is done and a little out of breathe. 4. Any and all times he bends his tall body backwards and screams. 5. Creep -- when he looks straight into the camera. 6. Straight as an Arrow - When he sings about his dirty girl!!! I better stop - I could pick 3 for each song.

Just noticed two other great ones, both from his first performance of "Trees"
1. When he says "out" (as in "I've got it all worked out") his eyes widen slightly and his brows arch for a moment - it's such an "in the moment" move, it makes me giggle a little.
2. Throughout the song he's tapping the heel of his foot which causes his whole leg to move and when he raises his hand ("...can build our dreams, with the knot tied tight...")you can see his whole stomach moving in this neat sorta thrusting movement - it's not on purpose and really just a result of him thumping his leg, but it's still awesome.
