i think it's about the pain more than the attention- but not in a concrete way- the pain is representative of something else- slicing through numbness in a too concrete way for lack of something more productive... I don't know about that...there comes a point where emotional pain becomes too much. i agree, i didnt mean to suggest that the numbness thing was the only explanation.

so back to less lofty pursuits....i hope myO was okay- I hope so too. It sounded scary. If she was having the pain I used to get...it is scary. I have lived alone for many years now....and when the pain got really bad..I had just moved to Florida, and I was lucky enough to have a pool out back. The pain was so bad I couldnt lay down because the pulling of gravity was excruciating. I couldnt sit up because it hurt and couldnt stand because i was delirious from pain. So I, in my infinite wisdom- in my pj's- in the middle of the night- walked out into the pool and suspended myself from a raft to be weightless. great idea...bad idea if you drown however. ;D

but i am alive, so .... scar...pfft! right? (it's huge) No way, scars are awesome. I have one on my left knee-I was in a warehouse at a punk show and I fell and ripped all the skin off, but not enough to bleed. It took forever to heal.

Scars like this one are not awesome if you think one day you might want to be **ahem** "close" to someone- there's no way - Nah...I think they add character to your body. Like moles or freckles, only man-made.

Yeah, you find me a man that will put up with me for more than six months and we have a deal. The convent's starting to look really nice to me. I've always wanted a lot of kids, but considering the state of the world, I don't think I'd want to risk it. Nah- you can't be all that bad! My house is pretty much a convent now, so if you ever want to come visit- Thanks, but I have my moments. I need a nice boy...that's all I ask for. Heehee! I've always wanted to be a nun...

Scars are like tattoos with better stories. My favourite one is right down my left wrist where my cat attacked me once while I was trying to get her to the vet. The vet was like "Does she have any temperment problems?" And I'm like *holds up arm* And he's like "Oh...you want some medical tape for that?"
