This is Kari grating a coconut. I did it after she taught me how, much to the amusement of Jesse. It's not as easy as it looks and I'm not at all coordinated. Fortunately I did not lose any fingers.

Another view of the Madang market. There are three main sections in the outdoors--produce, biliums and carvings, and clothes/jewelry. I hung out in the carving section a lot, but got no pictures of it.

This is Dama who carved a storyboard for me that has my name on it. The lady in the picture has malaria. Lots of people get it and come to Kari for medicine. Don't you love my outfit!
