Where is everyone? This is really scary... It is, I think we've nbeen in the same thread since Thursday, isn't that some kind of asylum record or something.  ;D ;D ;D I dunno, back in the day, we'd freak if we filled ten pages in a day. Holy crap, the Asylum's almost a year old. |

I had to ask for 2 days off in January for the RS SN concert and my boss gave me a hard time and is making me find my own volunteer replacement in order for me to go. Sometimes Bosses suck!  Awwww...that does suck. My boss doesn't care if I take time off-she likes hearing all the stories. I hated telling her it was for a concert, I knew she would make it harder to get time off....lecture about taking the time, telling me it wouldn't be paid.... WTH. I wish my co-workers shared your bosses view, but I don't usually share any of this stuff with them, they don't understand. |

My boss and I bonded over RS: INXS and Marty, so its a little understandable. After every show this season, we'd have a discussion. The Vice President came in after the finale and joined in. |

I guess I could say it's personal, but that doesn't feel like the truth. I don't think there is anything wrong with a person taking time to do something they enjoy. I always had put work and family before myself and this is the first time in my life I started doing things for myself, so I guess I don't feel like making an excuse to doing what I want. Does that make any sense? |
