Is Healey's the place were they had a lot of Rockstar people recently? Very sad to hear of anyone being sick.  I think it was the place of one of Marty's solo stops. It is sad that he's sick. Yes. Healey's Roadhouse is where the RockStar Party happened on December 16. I was lucky enough to be there. There were four Rockstars there. Josh Logan and Patrice from RS: Supernova and Tara Slone and Marty from RS:INXS. Marty, of course, was the STAR of the show! The RS show was one night after the supposed opening of Jeff's new location for Healey's. The actual opening was delayed for some reason, so Marty and Co. were actually the first gig to play there!! I saw on his website a bit later that Jeff was having an operation around that time. He's an amazing Canadian blues guitarist and also a fantastic jazz musician (guitar and trumpet). And he's blind!! He plays the guitar on his lap while sitting down. It's amazing!! Healey's Roadhouse was a perfect place to see Marty. I was right up by the stage, which was only 2 feet off the ground. I didn't bring my camera and now I could kick myself. Okay. I'm getting verbose here. Marty. Marty. Marty  I'm almost ready for my pomegranate sorbet treat. Back in a sec. |
