I'm gonna be $8,000.00 short paying for Katie's tuition.  .....Poor thang, we need more scholarships and programs, state's pay more for correctional facilities then thay do for education......go figure. Ok, my ladies...grrrrrrrrrr....gots to go back to nursing home again. Miss ya all. Talk laters  |

Nope, we're paying for her undergrad degree, then she has to pay for her law degree. We saved almost $33,000 and it won't cover her last 2 years. AND... her first 2 were free tuition with a Distinguished Scholarship award at the community college.

You do not look old enough to have a kid in college! That is impossible!! At least you saved something, I have student loans that will follow me long after I'm dead I'm afraid. And that was even with scholarships, too.

I know. I'm swear I'm still in shock. This is with a kid in the top 3% of her class with a 4.65 GPA and extra curricula rs up the ying yang. She attended the Cambridge University Summer Programme. There's no $$$ for academic, or a least we didn't find it. She would have been better of with a vollyball scholarship.

We told Katie she can live at home as long as she wants to pay off her law degree. She'll never be able to buy a house the way things are going otherwise. It's just crazy! |
