Tis sunny  I can hardly believe it!  Bright & sunny, not needed a coat all week! All at home is pretty much the same, wishing I had another holiday!  Hold on fire alarm |

Yep, some works being done & it set of the alarms, back in now! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D At least it was a nice day! Do you need winter woolies there then? I imagine Oz being hot all year round, with barbies on the beach..................... maybe I watched too much Neighbours/Home & Away/Sons & Daughters when I was a kid! |

Wow Dawn, thats even more a blast from the past than Henry & Bouncer!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D Now, when I say winter woolies (in my part of Aus anyway) its probably nothing more than you would wear out on a spring/autumn evening. In the middle of winter I wear my LH hoodie, jeans and thongs (in Oz we wear thongs on our feet ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D) to my 8am uni classes. How  rude 8am classes!!! I hear ya...my professsor is the head of school and even he can't fight the timetable people! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D |

So, you're woolies aren't woolen scarfs, gloves, hats, thick coats then like ours! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D I really have to talk Art in to visiting Oz - I know I'll be hot as but it would be fab. He keeps doing the accent - he's so funny, sounds like Alf Roberts! ;D ;D ;D Why do I remember these things? As for the job in Chitown...I've thought of that too!!! Its perfect for about two months of the year...thne its either too cold or too hot! Now we can combat the coldness by going to LH shows and watching blondie to keep us warm...but what the hell do we do in summer??? We really would self combust if we saw him perform ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I watched America's Top Model last night and they were in Australia. They had to interview Aussies on the beach using as much slang as they could remember. The subject of teir interviews...What is the faux pas of Americans while their in Oz??? My answer would have been: calling Aussie chicks shelia's!!!!!! I can imagine Art would be more excited about coming to Oz than to Chitown...after all. we wear no clothes on the beach and we have cold beer...what more could you want? oh, a 6'2 blonde wearing eyeliner and mascara whose pants are trying their hardest to hit the floor while he's screaming into a mic with tape wrapped around his long fingers!!! DAH!!!! |

Me thinks we would be more the winner than Art. Although...when I take Reggie to gigs, I usually position him at strategic places, like right above the womens bathroom...that way e doesn't complain when I'm right in front of the stage, I'm sure Art would appreciate the same "view" Yes, Dawn & Rocco decided to move to Barcelona...but obly just bought their house...haven't decided to move back to pommieland just yet! |

The strange thing is, if I was ever to be brave enough to move away, I'd move right away! Not to Europe, Spain is only about an hours flight away (which is handy) but with the internet & stuff, you can still see your family & stuff. I'm just not brave enough, I'm a home body & always will be I guess.
Have you watched that advert yet? I'm expecting the exploding smilie to be used! ;D ;D ;D It's only about 30 seconds, be warned - very pink!!!!!!!
