I fear my 2007 issues won't be resolved until early 2008, but it will be fine. I just believe it will. It will be fine. Trust your karma and take care of yourself. I read this book by the Dalai Lama called "The Art of Happiness at Work". I think it's time for me to read it again. I love his answer when asked what he does for a living. He says, "Nothing. I do nothing." The interviewer is frustrated and tries to get him to explain. He adds, "I just look after myself, just take care of myself." This is so simple, but powerful. Somehow, we let other things and other people get in the way of our need to take care of ourselves. At least I know I let this happen. The Dalai Lama was in Ottawa and Toronto. I wish I could have gone to see him talk.

I think it is a good sign no one messed with my house and yard last night. I must be doing something right because this crew could have obliterated me. They were talking about paintballs, saran wrap, shaving cream, toilet paper, maxi pads (yes, they stuck them on people's houses), etc. One kid's parents own a restaurant so he gets their BIG ROLL of saran wrap and saran wraps people's cars.
I must be sending positive vibes out. Here's hoping they come back.
We do neglect taking care of ourselves too much. I need a vacation.

Follow your bliss, girl! If I can finish the play, there are actually quite a few competitions. I could probably enter it in one. Most publishers want proof of a production or two before they'll even look at a script...which there are some professional and semi-professional theatres in towns a few hours from me. Maybe one of them would be interested. I'll just have to see if I can get to that point. I need to find out when the yearly Writer's Retreat is slated for next summer. I'd really like to go. They do it here in town. People come from all over to attend. It's at the Hemingway-Pfeiffer Museum. Ooooo, I so want to go on a Writer's Retreat. I did a few workshops in Ottawa in 2004 & 2005, which were great to get me going. The theme was "Jumpstart your Writing". There are so many retreats. Once I'm finished my masters, it might be a treat to go to one. Do you have a website for the one you want to go to? I'd love to know more about it.

It's a word from Nebulous Land. I think I have a couple of installments to catch up on with "Justice". I'm going to read it right from the beginning.

Paintballs can be dangerous. I heard that a woman in Ottawa got hit in the eye and almost lost her eye. There was paintball vandalism going on when I was there for a spiritual workshop in mid-October. Some of the workshop participants' cars were hit while we were in the workshop. It was broad daylight. Geez, some kids have no fear.

Even the SEVENTH GRADERS were sticking maxi pads on people's garage doors and stuff. One day in a co-workers class some girls got a red marker, colored a tampon, and then put it in water to swell..then they tossed it around the room or somit. They got busted.

I'm going to call it a night. I want to be at work in the morning and get a good day in. I'm going to see a lecture in Kingston at 7 PM. It's part of the Local Food Summit. And who knows, if I'm productive at work on Saturday, maybe I'll be able to check out some of the Sunday events. Take care, Cheza! Thanks for the chat tonight - especially the 2008 stuff!! Let's rock out in '08!!

Will this day never end?! NO. The day is draaaaaaggggging.... How are you? For you too? I think it's the longest day in history...at least the longest Friday afternoon. I am good, other than wanting to leave work. I'm glad it's Friday! How about you?
