Okay, so this past weekend I thought I would spend time trying to get the word out on the Lovehammers and/or the new CD. Well, I was more than a little disappointed to see that there wasn't all that many places to post reviews on the band, etc. I did find some that I thought I'd share, and hopefully if you know of any you'll share. Non-Internet: 1) Alternative Press magazine - In every issue there is a little form in the shape of a ticket where you write down up to 3 names of bands that you want to see covered in the magazine. (This month its on page 42) Internet: 1) MP3.com - you can write a review of the band. I wrote one. I had to register first. For some reason, some of the stuff I wrote was cut out but I was able to plug the CD and the band's website. www.mp3.com/lovehammers/artists/457626/summary.html2) VH1.com - not much to do here. They have the band as "Lovehammer" but they do have the new CD info up. You can post a link to your Lovehammers website if you have one: www.vh1.com/artists/az/lovehammer/artist.jhtmlAnd the only other thing I could find was Marty's page up on www.imdb.com Pretty pathetic - anyone have suggestions?

There's a site called garageband.com. You can listen and review the Lovehammers. Hope that is helpful.

Thanks, typodi! I forgot to mention that the Alternative Press magazine has a Reader's Chart which we can try to get the new CD on once it comes out I'll post details next month.

On Amazon.com there are no reviews on the DVD so those who have been lucky enough to see it can rave. Can also leave reviews for MOMM. It helps cuz when people are messing around looking for stuff it might pop up as a suggestion.

Awesome, you guys! I hadn't thought of other messageboards and I can't believe Live/Raw hasn't been reviewed yet.

Hey, how about something as simple as telling someone, " check out this great band lovehammers" and play the music. Also, I have LH pic up at work (I work in retail) so, all of my customers see it, and alot of them ask me about it and the band.

I went to Tower Records today. I'm from the Philippines by the way. It's suppose to have all international bands and to my utter dismay--they didn't have any of the old Lovehammers CD's. I guess, it's only now they are getting recognition. I'm getting a few emails from other Filipinos who are big Marty fans. They like my idea of holding an exclusive martycasey.org asian fan tribute at my relative's music cafe in the island of Cebu, however--the Lovehammers have to attend. Thing is...when will they ever come to the Philippines? I wanna spread the word but it's hard when I myself haven't seen them live in concert. I know Marty rocks after watching him perform at Rockstar INXS. Their site must be so busy because I've been trying to get into it and I can't, server down? Based on what everyone's saying, they kick ass. I just wish I'm able to buy there CD's here so I don't to inconvenience my brother in LA.
