Is everyone getting these emails from the Lovehammers? I'm on their fan sign up list and I'm never getting any emails from them. I only got one that announced their Metro show- which I'm not going to unfortunately. Also, someone said they got a LH email saying something about signing with Epic. Just not sure why I'm being left out or if others on west coast are. Well, Rockbeast is on west coast, that's right- so not sure what is up with that. Maybe I need to re-sign up or something. Thanks.

I am on the mailing list and I did get the one about the Aragon show, but I never saw one about signing with Epic. I just saw a posting about that on their website.
Rockbeast - go to the Aragon show! What's money, anyway, right?

I bought tickets to the Aragon show because I didn't get any to the Metro show. I thought if I could get Metro tickets, I would sell the others. But now that I have them all, I don't think I can give them up. I want to go!
Never mind that I have no one to go with me to ANY of these shows.
Go, beantown, go!

Ditto on the Seattle show, I have no one to go with me, going STAG and I guess I will be ok with that. I went to Duran Duran and U2 alone this year and also am going to Rolling Stones/Motley Crue this Sunday alone.

I was obsessed with them (especially John Taylor) when I was in junior high. In '85, I would have given anything to see them live. 20 years later, I'd definitely make the effort if they came to town. (Even if I did have to go alone.)

I wish they would come back for another tour!! It was amazing........ John T. RULES!! I loved his other band Neurotic Boy Outsiders with Duff (GnR/Velvet Revolver)! Saw them in 95 at a small club in Seattle and MET JT!

I loved his other band Neurotic Boy Outsiders with Duff (GnR/Velvet Revolver)! Saw them in 95 at a small club in Seattle and MET JT! Ahhh...D2. They are my all-time favorite band...I can remember seeing them for the first time as a freshman in high school. I could swear John Taylor looked RIGHT at me & waved! ha ha. I've seen them since about 20 times...won "Breakfast with Duran Duran" through KROQ & I still have Simon's sweaty towel tucked away from that...& then several years later actually got to hang out with them at House of Blues - even shared a glass of champagne with Simon. Sigh...JT wasn't in the band at the time, but still what an experience! There's a pic on my website with Simon. (top right) www.ibeautyandhealth.com/pictures_2.htmHad a few of Nick, too, but he had to leave us quickly after having a few too many cocktails!! And you're right Rockbeast, Astronaut is awesome. I saw them last last year at the Jingle Ball, then again at the Jay Leno show, & then 6th row earlier this year when they went on tour as the original Fab Five. They played the really old ones Friends of Mine & Careless Memories - which they never played in the previous concerts I had seen. I know, I sound like an obsessive fan!! But I just set my mind to something & go after what I want...& I knew since I was in 7th grade I would meet D2. Felt the same way about Brandon Boyd (Incubus) & now of course MC. I am really just a huge music fan & love the energy of these people. k, I'll stop gushing now... Julianah you should DEFinitely go see D2 live, they are amazing! ;D

okay for you durannies, especially julianah, did i ever tell you i met John T in a grocery store in NYC once?! I was too obsessed with DD to ever say anything intelligent. Funny how things never change. Cause if I saw MC buying a loaf of bread I'd be dumbstruck instantly. Still 13 inside....

You guys are killing me with all the Duran Duran experiences. Lucky!!! A couple of questions -- Is JT as beautiful in person as he was in the mags and videos? Was Simon charming and witty? I've always imagined Simon being charming and witty. What's Nick like? OMG! I'm 15 again. Must go check out jodieca's photo with Simon.

I can't believe it, but I got tix to Aragon!!! I have lost my mind as of late. The new dates for the INXS tour in the south are during the one time period I can't miss work and I was so bummed yesterday, so I said screw it- we'll pay the credit card later! Chi-town, here we come!! I feel like a giddy schoolgirl!
